This is Fuyuki city, my city. I protect it even though I was burnt by it. I was about five or so when the great fire happened, I was blinded by it and was reportedly the only survivor; a blinded five year old. But somehow I could still see as my adopted father took me in and taught me martial arts and the bo-staff. But when I was twelve he died leaving me in the care of Taiga, the granddaughter of Raiga Fujimura, But during the time I've been blind I could still see thanks to my other four main senses becoming supercharged by the ambient magic from the great fire that blinded me. Soon I became a something more. For some reason I was gaining the ability to see sound like a bat. And I've trained in the various martials arts and before long I was the Daredevil! But to those who don't know that fact my name is Shiro Emiya.
The flames he could feel them. The heat was immense he was looking for a way out while calling to someone, but he didn't see them, suddenly the sound of clashing steel rang out making him looking around and seeing nothing but flames and smoke.
"Hello?" he asked before the flames exploded around him sending him to the ground. He panicked before he looked up seeing a burning branch about to break off "No!" he scream as the flames and smoke swirled around him "HELP ME! HELP!" he shouted trying to get someone's attention
'dnilb si ecitsuj dlrow eht ot' a voice said as the flames consumed him and created a bright flash of light blinding him while knocking him out
Shiro Emiya woke up with a startled expression and moved his hand to find something, which was a hammer. He then tapped something heavy with the hammer making the room be covered in waves of red. He did it again taking in the environment. It was like he left anything; standing up Shiro went over to a workbench and turned on the radio to fill the silent void. Shiro could also use the soundwaves to see his environment since he was blinded by the Fuyuki fire. Looking around the space he was standing in which was a large shed he discovered what he was looking for: his school uniform jacket, his cane and his red tinted glasses before looking around the shed he was currently in when his senses flared up
"Well it's about time you were up" a voice said as he saw someone standing at the door
"Good morning to you too Daphne" Shiro said as he walked out into the fresh air pass the blonde woman who shook her head and sighed
"What am I going to do with you?" she asked
"I'm not sure" Shiro said as he walked into the house.
"Kiritsugu left your wellbeing to me" Daphne said
"Well you were his maid" Shiro joked before a steak knife was thrown into the wall, just left of his head "WHOA!"
"I am a bodyguard, a chauffeur, a cook, a kendo master and a housekeeper, not a MAID!" Daphne said "Now come on your breakfast is getting cold"
"It's not black pudding again is it?" Shiro said
"I've cooked eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, toast with both jam and marmalade and a bit of fish, come now" Daphne said "And you better eat up before Taiga and Sakura come over"
"Yes ma'am" Shiro said as he looked around, a sort of shimmering was in the air that he didn't see before "Do you see a shimmer of some kind?"
"No, I don't lad. Now come on" Daphne shouted
"Coming" Shiro said as he walked inside, Daphne lingered a bit glaring around the backyard before she closed the door.
"So what will today bring?" Issei said as he stood in the council room sipping a cup of coffee
"Many a thing my friend" Shiro said as he walked into the room. He removed the large trench coat he wore over his uniform before he paused and looked outside
"What is it?" Issei asked
"Shinji...again; I don't see why the council doesn't do something about that sleazeball" Shiro said
"It's not from a lack of trying, believe me we have tried to do something about him for awhile now" Issei said "any new developments on the radar front?"
"I see a shimmer almost; but I'm not sure what it could be" Shiro said
"Interesting, anything else?" Issei asked as Shiro was about to answer soon the door slid opened making Shiro see nothing but darkness when suddenly the darkness was illuminated by a wave of red casting the room in a red hue allowing Shiro to see the room before it faded back to red, Soon the room was filled with red lines. 'Someone's at the door' he thought as he took in a breath of air through his nose, there were three scents in the room: Issei, his cup of coffee and the scent of various fruits, which mean a type of perfume and he could tell who it was straight away
"Morning Ayako" Shiro said
"Damn RADAR Senses" Ayako said as she walked in. Ayako and Issei were the only ones at the school that knew about Shiro's radar sense. While he was still trying to figure out what it could do, but he had a good grasp on it "So how was Sakura this morning?"
"Sakura, what do you mean; she never showed up" Shiro said
"That's odd she finished her training this morning before heading to your house" Ayako said
"Well she never showed up" Shiro said opening the window and holding up a finger while closing his eyes to focus more on the soundwave created by all the sides. "East side, on the steps" Shiro said walking out of the room
"You think he has this?" Ayako asked
"I think he does, after all he's that guy" Issei said as he read a newspaper with the headline 'Daredevil strikes again, Kidnapping foiled!' and a picture of several thugs with badly broken bones were shown.
Shiro headed to the area where he heard Sakura was and was surprised to see another girl with her, so he hid around the corner and listening
"Oh thank you" Sakura said her deep purple hair was brushed over her shoulders.
"No worries" a girl with darker hair said making Shiro curious about who she was "Are you okay Sakura?"
"Yeah I am" Sakura said
"That bruise on your arm" the other girl said
"I accidently caught my arm with my bowstring" Sakura said giving Shiro the chance to tell she was lying since her heartbeat elevated a bit making him frown.
"Oh okay" the other girl said as she walked off, Shiro then tapped his cane on the ground making it seem he was walking towards Sakura
"There you are" Shiro said
"Oh Senpai, I'm sorry I didn't see you this morning" Sakura said
"No worries, you sound off." Shiro said
"Oh don't worry Senpai, I'm okay" she said smiling "Well Miss Fuijmura will be wanting this paperwork, I'll be over this afternoon Senpai"
"Good to hear" Shiro said smiling before it turned into a stern expression.
"Hey Ayako, did Sakura hit herself with her bowstring?" Shiro asked
"No, why did you ask?" Ayako asked
"Because I overheard a student saying she has a bruise on her arm" Shiro said
"So I'm not the only one" Ayako said
"No you're not, but I can't tell who was talking with Sakura, I could only see her outline" Shiro said
"It must have been her, I don't know why but" Ayako was saying when an explosion happened
"Where was that?" Ayako asked
"Come on!" Shiro said running off
"Not again" Issei said
"What happened?" Ayako said as coughing could be her "Ritsuka Fujimaru"
"That was not what was supposed to happen" a brunette said
"Ritsuka, what did you do?" Issei asked
"Just some basic chemistry" Ritsuka said
"That was not just simple chemistry senpai" a girl with short light purple hair and glasses followed him frowning
"Sorry Mash" Ritsuka said embarrass rubbing the back of his neck. Shiro frowned as he picked up something that wasn't quite right in the air. He looked around to try and find the reason he wasn't sure what was going on. Unaware that someone was watching him before he walked away making Shiro turn to their direction
"Shinji" he growled as he started to walk after his classmate.
"What do you want Emiya?" Shinji asked as he turned to the blind student
"I want to know what you did to Sakura" Shiro said
"None of your concern" Shinji said
"Then why does she have a bruise on her arm?" Shiro asked
"She must have forgotten her armguard this morning and clipped her arm when she fired" Shinji said in a cocky manner.
"You better hope that's all it is" Shiro said
"Or what, I'm going to be the prey of the Daredevil, please he's just some human" Shinji scoffed
"We'll see about that" Shiro said as he stormed off as well.
"How interesting" the girl who talked to Sakura before said as she turned and walked off. "Don't you think Archer?" she said walking off.
Meanwhile in an old abandoned looking house a man stood around a chess board while holding seven cards in his hand before
"Saber, Archer, Lancer, Assassin, Berserker, Caster, Rider; a full set. But I feel like these two will be important" he said he placed seven figures on the table before he drew two more cards and looked at him "Shielder and Ruler" he said as he picked up two more figures and placed them on the table. "This war despite it being so close to the previous one, must not go off teh rails. Which is why I have brought you in Ruler, to make sure things don't go so far out of hand" the man said to a blonde haired young woman dressed in a school uniform
"Yes sir" the blonde girl said as the figures on the table lit up
"Most of the servants have been summoned. But something is amiss here" he said
"Do you want me to investigate it?" Ruler asked
"No, I'll see to it when I can" he said as the amulet around his neck shimmered "Interesting, our first conflict is about to begin, would you mind?"
"Of course not master" she said disappearing in a shimmer of golden light particles as her master sat in a chair and turned it to face the chess board
"Shall we see where this leads?" he asked placing his fingers together to form a triangle.
"How did I get conned into doing that again, stupid Shinji, definitely going to get him back for that" Shiro said as he pulled his jacket on before he froze as the sound of metal clashed against metal. "What the?" he asked as he walked out of the door to see two blurs fighting each other "Okay, what is going on?" he asked before he heard the two stop fighting making Shiro frown
"Hey there boyo" a voice said from next to Shiro, who only saw a shimmer, but nonetheless he dodged out of the way and looked around "Try again" he said before the sound of clashing metal was closer
"You idiot" a second voice said as Shiro just sat there "RUN YOU MORON!" the second voice said making Shiro get up and run inside the archery dojo, running to a door that was locked, opening a nearby panel and spinning some dials until he stopped them on specific numbers opening the door allowing him to slip in and close the door.
"Time to be a man without fear" he said removing his uniform jacket.
G'day Guys Grizz here So I bet you guys weren't expecting me to do a new story with this premise; well since Fate Stay Mukomizuna: Moonlit Knight was abandoned and not alot of readers enjoyed the direction I took the original I decided that I would eventually get around to doing a reboot of the series. Now the series will still pull from the main Fate series but it will also pull from Fate Apocrypha, Grand Order and maybe the the Illya Magical Girl spin-off (not sure about that last one) and the overseer is a marvel character but you have guess which one.
Now one final note and that has to do with the name change since um...Mukomizuna is not Daredevil in Japanese...its actually Devil May Cry, so yeah its now the name I chose because of that error
