Lakitu: Are you ready, plumbers?
Kids: Aye aye, Lakitu!
Lakitu: I can't hear you!
Kids: AYE AYE, LAKITU!
Lakitu: Oooooooooooooh!
The camera drops down from the sky and down to a house with a pipe shaped chimney.
Lakitu: Who lives in a pad with his bro, Luigi?
Mario in his small form comes out of the pipe. A hand gives him a mushroom to become Super Mario.
Kids: SU-PER MARIO!
Lakitu: Adventurous, red, and jumpy is he,
Mario falls in front of a pile of bob ombs which blow up. Fly guys carry up a sign saying "SUPER MARIO"
Kids: SU-PER MARIO!
Lakitu: If mushrooms and coins be something you wish,
Bullet Bills carry out a put together segment of another "SUPER MARIO" sign.
Kids: SU-PER MARIO!
Cheep Cheep: Then drop from the pipe and flop like a fish!
Kids: SU-PER MARIO!
Lakitu: Ready?
Pixels come together to form an 8 bit Mario.
All: SU-PER MARIO!
The pixels rearrange to form a 16 bit Mario.
All: SU-PER MARIO!
The pixels rearrange again to form Mario's modern look
All: SU-PER MARIO!
Mario drops down onto a classic level with blocks spelling out "SUPER MARIO"
Lakitu: SU-PEEEEEEEER MARIOOOOOOOOO!
Mario runs and jumps over the blocks and slides down the flagpole. At the bottom, Lakitu starts laughing. As he does Mario plays the classic death jingle on a flute.

One peaceful day in the Lake Kingdom, FLUDD deactivates sleep mode after being tapped by his owner Aqua. Peach's six year old sister with brown hair that was in between the lengths of Peach's and Daisy's, cerulean eyes, freckles on her cheeks, and a light blue dress that looked like waves in the ocean. She was about 70% of Mario's height, and 65% of Luigi's height.
Aqua: Wake up, FLUDD!.
FLUDD: Good morning, Princess Aqua.
Aqua: 'Princess', eh? Well, FLUDD, I'm proud to announce that I'm officially resigning my role as princess of the Lake Kingdom.
FLUDD: Oh, well that's- wait, you're WHAT?!
Aqua: That's right! We're leaving home. We're gonna become peasants!
She puts on a fake wig and takes a stick with a sack on it.
FLUDD: Were you hit on the head or something, Aqua? You can't just give up on your people!
Aqua then suddenly drops her stick and throws her wig off.
Aqua: Ha! Gotcha! April Fools!
FLUDD: Searching today's date… Wow, it is April Fools Day. I'm surprised you got me so easily.
Aqua: Oh, it's only the beginning FLUDD. After that joke, I'm feeling a little thirsty.
She goes into the kitchen and grabs out an abnormally large glass of lemonade.
Aqua: *Mario impression* Mamma Mia! This is an-a extreme-a thirst!
Several minutes later, Aqua managed to pour the entire thing of lemonade into dozens of smaller glasses.
Aqua: Whew, I'm exhausted. I sure can't wait to drink all of these drinks. April Fools!
She takes out a mirror and looks into her reflection.
Aqua: To me!
FLUDD: That's… weird and unnecessary.
Aqua; Oh, this is just a warm up.
As she said that, a warp pipe appeared and she jumped down. On the other side, she came out in front of Mario's Pad.
Aqua: I can't wait to spread my love for pranks around the Mushroom Kingdom. And I know just who to start with! Teeheehee!
Meanwhile, Wendy O. Koopa was spying on her through a pair of binoculars.
Wendy: What's she so happy about?
She walked down the halls of the castle, only to see a calendar with the date "April 1st" on it?!
Wendy: April 1st?! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! NO! I hate that holiday!
She quickly dials a number on her cellphone and Bowser answers.
Bowser: Hello?
Wendy: Mister Bowser, I'm sorry, but I can't help with the Mushroom Kingdom attack today. I caught something terrible.
Bowser: What did you catch?
Wendy: I caught sight of the calendar!
Bowser facepalms.
Bowser: Wendy, I don't care about some dumb, stupid, and pointless holiday that only morons celebrate. If you're not sick, get your butt down here, NOOOOOOOW!
Bowser's scream of the last word was so intense that she felt it from the other end.
Wendy: Yes sir…
She hangs up and walks down. Meanwhile, back at Mario's pad, Aqua placed a radio connected to a microphone she was holding in front of Mario's doorstep and rang the door before hiding. Mario answers the door.
Mario: Hello?
Aqua: *Peach impression* Mario! Help me! It's Bowser! He's attacking the castle! Hurry!
Mario: Mamma Mia! Don't worry Princess! We're on our way!
Mario went inside and dragged Luigi out, who was still sipping a cup of coffee.
Luigi: Oh, come on! Already?
The bros arrived at Peach's Castle, ready for battle.
Mario: Alright, Bowser! Prepare for- Huh?
Bowser wasn't there, everyone in the castle just stared at them.
Luigi: Well, this is awkward. Where's Bowser?
Peach: Are you two okay? Bowser hasn't attacked today. At least not yet.
Mario: But… you screamed over the radio saying that Bowser was attacking. I swear, I'm not crazy!
Peach: That… wasn't me.
Aqua: Hahahahahaha!
They turned around to see Aqua laughing.
Aqua: April Fools!
Peach: *sigh* Aqua, I know it's April Fools Day. But you should NEVER pull a prank about something as serious as this!
Luigi: Yeah! You had me and my bro worried sick! And that's no laughing matter!
That hurt the little kid's feelings, and she started to cry.
Aqua: I… *sniff* I'm sorry, g-guys! I was just… *sniff* trying to get into the spirit!
Mario comforted her.
Mario: Hey, don't be sad, Aqua. I made a mistake like that back when I was your age. I prank called 911 and… let's just say the outcome didn't go very well. (DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME, KIDS!) But we all learn from our mistakes, right?
Aqua: *sniff* ...Y...Yeah…
Mario: But you know, that impression of your sister sounded really good. Almost perfect! Which gives me an idea.
Aqua: I'm listening!
Mario whispered it to her and then whispered it to Luigi and Peach.
Meanwhile at Bowser's Castle.
Bowser: Bwahaha! This time, Mario will not be able to sto-
Bowser's cell phone starts ringing. (His ringtone is his theme from Super Mario 64)
Bowser: Hmm… I wonder who that could be?
He answers it.
Bowser: Hello?
'Peach': Hello Bowser! Beautiful day isn't it?
Bowser: P-P-P-Peach?! Wow, this is a nice surprise! You never call me!
'Peach': Well, you're in luck, my sweetie koopiekins! I've been thinking, and I realized, you were right. That icky plumber is a total loser, and I want nothing to do with him! You're the one for me, Bowser! And I came to accept your proposal to our union between both of our kingdoms.
Bowser was speechless.
Bowser: Y-You're serious?!
'Peach': As serious as can be, Bowsey! Come over to my castle, and we can discuss our wedding plans.
Bowser grew hearts in his eyes believing this to be a dream come true.
Bowser: I'll be right there, Peachy Weachy!
Bowser dashes out of his castle in eager excitement. Meanwhile, Aqua hangs up the phone and they all giggle. Bowser arrives in the wedding tuxedo. All of the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. were with him.
Bowser: Princess Peach, you don't know how long I've waited for you to finally accept me! Now, I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself!
Wendy: I wanna bake the cake!
Lemmy: I wanna decorate!
Ludwig: I wanna play the organ as Peach walks down the hall!
Roy: I wanna be the DJ!
Bowser Jr.: I wanna be the ring bearer!
Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Aqua just giggle even more.
Bowser: And what's so funny? You think this is some joke? Well, it ain't! Peach said it fair and square on the phone, so there's nothing you can do about it!
That didn't phase them though and they laughed harder.
Bowser: Alright, that's it! You better let me in on the joke, RIGHT NOW!
Aqua: *Peach impression* Oh, Bowser. You are such a sweet Koopa King, but I changed my mind about marrying you, because I just wanted to say…
She went up to Bowser's ear.
Aqua: *whispering* April Fools!
The good guys all laugh while Bowser, Junior, and Koopalings had dumbfounded looks on their faces. After a moment Bowser grabs Aqua in a fit of rage, making her scream and her friends gasp.
Bowser: You think it's funny to play with my feelings and waste my time?! DO YA?! Well, it looks like I'm kidnapping a different princess this time! And when we get back to my castle, I'll teach you a lesson!
Aqua: HEEEEEEEELP!
Peach: Bowser, stop!
Mario: Let her go!
Aqua: Bowser, please! It was just a joke! No more jokes on you today, I promise!
Bowser: You promise?
Aqua shook her head rapidly with tears in her eyes.
Luigi: Sure, there are lots of other willing participants. Right princess?
Peach sits on a whopper cushion on her throne and it farts. Luigi laughs in response.
Mario: That was you, wasn't it?
Luigi: Yup! Still got it!
Bowser puts Aqua down and stomps off. The Koopalings and Bowser Jr. follow, disappointed.
Wendy: I don't care, honestly. As long as it's not me.
Later, Aqua started a pranking spree in Peach's Castle. She started with an elderly toad (not Toadsworth) trying to find his way around.
Old Toad: Excuse me… umm… miss, could you tell me where the painting of Lethal Lava Land is?
Aqua: Sure! It's on the door to the left.
Old Toad: Why, thank you!
He walked in that room.
Old Toad: BRRRRRR!
The man walked out shivering.
Old Toad: What in blazes?! There's no lava! Only snow!
Aqua: April Fools! That's Cool Cool Mountain. Lethal Lava Land is downstairs. Though, it's painting is rather creepy and I'd sometimes have nightmares about it.
Old Toad: Oh ho Ho! I get it. They're opposites.
Later…
Daisy: Hi Aqua! What's up?
Aqua: Oh nothing, sis. Hey, what's that?
While Daisy looked in the direction she was pointing, Aqua held up a sign with Toad's face in front of her face.
Daisy: I don't see anything.
Aqua: *Toad impression* I'm the best!
Daisy: Toad? Where did my sister go?
Aqua: *takes off the sign* April Fools! I'm right here!
Daisy: Oh, you silly little prankster, you! That was pretty good.
Next, it was Mario's turn to get pranked.
Aqua: Hey, Mario! Your shoes are untied.
Mario: Mamma Mia!
He looks down but gets confused.
Aqua: April Fools! Your shoes don't have laces!
They laugh together.
Mario: Wow, you actually got me good.
Aqua ends up having so much fun that she laughs through a microphone. The noise travels all the way to the dark lands where Wendy gets extremely annoyed and tries covering her ears with tissues, but to no avail.
Wendy: *sarcastic* April Fools!
The microphone laughing gets so loud that her window breaks. A shard comes and rips a dent in one of Wendy's boy band posters. Making the only female Koopalings completely lose it.
Wendy: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! THAT DOES IT! That little brat and her stupid pranks! I'm gonna show her what a REAL prank is all about!
She puts on a devious smile and laughs maniacally.
Peach's Castle
Later at Peach's Castle Wendy had finished setting up a trap for Aqua in Peach's Castle. She was able to do this thanks to Kamek using a powerful spell to stop time.
Wendy: Okay, it's done. You can start time up again, Kamek.
Kamek broke the spell.
Kamek: *sigh* I hope that was worth the time and effort, because I had to use up a LOT of magic doing this. This is why I haven't told Bowser about it.
Wendy: Whatever, here's your 5000 coins. Now off with you!
He disappeared. Wendy put on her evil grin and used the Magic Paintbrush she borrowed from Bowser Jr to spray a splatter of paint in the middle of the room, inside a rope circle. Peach immediately took notice of it.
Peach: Eww! Where did that come from?
Aqua: I got it!
She took out FLUDD and walked inside the circle where she started spraying the paint away.
Wendy: *whispering* Gotcha! *out loud* APRIL FOOLS, SUCKER!
She cuts the rope next to her. The circle ties Aqua by her feet and sends her flying.
Aqua: WOOOOOOAH!
Wendy is laughing hysterically the whole time as Aqua hits several bags of flour which gets all over her face. But that was just the beginning. The rope then wraps around a pole several times, making the kid dizzy before slamming her into a wall, the castle toads felt that and flinched.
Toad #1: Oof!
Toad #2: Ow!
Toad #3: Ouch!
Mario, Luigi, and Peach: AQUA!
Wendy couldn't help but laugh even harder as Aqua screamed and flew right into Wario's rear end.
Wario: WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
At this point, Wendy began cheering with pom poms in her hand as if she were a cheerleader. After the painful hit, Aqua was flung all the way up to the ceiling. Her sister and friends gasped in horror. Mario went running out of extreme worry and held out his arms as Aqua fell down.
Mario: DON'T WORRY, BUDDY! I'LL CATCH YOU!
But before he could, Wendy hit Mario from the side, knocking him over.
Wendy: Nope! I'LL catch her!
She holds out a trash can and Aqua falls into it.
Wendy: *sarcastic* Oops!
She empties the can, and Aqua comes out all filthy and covered in garbage, and with tears in her eyes.
Wendy: April Fools, you little brat! This serves you right!
As she laughs in triumph, Aqua runs out of the castle crying. She stops laughing when she sees her running.
Wendy: Hey, don't run! I was just kidding! You all know I was just kidding… right?
But no one believed her.
Yoshi: What the heck is wrong with you?! You thought that was funny?!
Toadette: You could've killed her!
Daisy: You've got yourself some serious issues to work out, young lady!
Everyone angrily glares at Wendy as they exit the castle.
Wendy: Guys! Wait! Don't go!
Wario: Hey, you stink!
Wendy: Wait! It was just a prank!
Mario approaches Wendy with a black eye, and a few missing teeth that resulted from the hard shove Wendy gave him.
Wendy: Umm… No hard feelings, Mario?
Mario wasn't buying it and bent his legs preparing to jump.
Wendy: NO! NO! NOT THE FACE! NOT THE-!
Mario jumped up and smashed her face hard three times.
Wendy: OW! OW! OOOOWWWWW!
After he was finished he stomped toward the doorway, being the last guest to leave. Before going, he took one last glare at Wendy and said in a cold, deep, voice.
Mario: April Fools… JERK!
Then he slammed the doors hard. Leaving Wendy alone in the room. She looked around at all the places where Aqua was hit, and realized just how painful it would be to be in her place. Then she turned to Peach, who looked just as angry as Mario was, if not even more.
Wendy: Um… Princess…?
Peach didn't even want to hear it. She was trying to suppress the immense amount of rage she felt, but it wasn't easy.
Peach: Wendy… get out…
Wendy: Wh… What?
Peach caught on fire and exploded.
Peach: GET THE HELL OUT OF MY CASTLE AND OUT OF MY KINGDOM RIGHT NOW! AND DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING NEAR MY LITTLE SISTER EVER AGAIN!
Wendy ran out of the castle and the Mushroom Kingdom as fast as she could out of fear. On the walk back home, she grew deep in thought.
Wendy: Why is it that whenever I'm having fun, I start to regret it? I didn't mean to make her cry, I guess this means I'd better tell Aqua I'm sor-
She makes a weird noise and a strange face.
Wendy: Huh? I guess this means I'd better apolo-GIIIIIIIIII! This is gonna be tougher than I thought…
Lake Kingdom
Wendy was about to enter Aqua's dome castle, but she was stopped by two Lochladies with spears.
Lochlady #1: State your business here, Koopa! We don't trust creatures like you!
Wendy: Umm… I'm just here to talk to the princess. Is she home?
Lochlady #2: The princess isn't in a very good mood right now. She seems upset about something. She doesn't want to talk about it though. It must've been pretty terrible to make her cry like that.
Wendy gulped feeling nervous.
Lochlady #2: But if you still wish to see her, she's in her bedroom.
Wendy: Okay, thanks.
She walks over to her bedroom door and hears her crying on the other side.
Wendy: Um… Aqua?
Aqua: GO AWAY!
Wendy: Aqua, please! Can't we just talk for a moment?
Aqua: NO!
She takes out her magic wand.
Wendy: Aqua, you better let me in there! I don't wanna have to use this!
That urged her to open the door, but rather hesitantly.
Aqua: What do you want?
Wendy: Aqua, I just wanted to say that I'm sor-
She sticks out her tongue while trying to say the word in question. Aqua raises an eyebrow in confusion.
Aqua: What?
Wendy: I'm trying to say, I'm-
Her head turns into the head of a Birdo, and she makes honking noises. This made Aqua rather annoyed.
Aqua: What?!
Wendy: I'm just trying to say that I'm-!
Her head explodes trying to say it.
Wendy: There's gotta be an easier way to do this…
Later, Wendy gets back her head and writes down a note. She puts it in a bottle and corks it before giving it to Aqua.
Wendy: Well, aren't cha gonna open it.
Aqua: I can't. I don't have a bottle opener.
Wendy gets annoyed by this and tries out another method. She takes two cans attached by string, gives one to Aqua, and takes the other one all the way back to Bowser's Castle.
Wendy: Aqua, I'm…
She whispers something into the can and hopes for a response. Instead, she hears some weird noise coming from the string. She uses binoculars to look over at Aqua's end, and she looks just as confused. Then she looked at the source of the noise. Which was Donkey Kong using the string to floss his teeth, frustrating Wendy even more. She ran back to the Lake Kingdom, now losing her patience.
Wendy: Aqua, all that I'm trying to say is that I'm…
Wendy grabs a bubble and puts it over her head.
Wendy: *echo* …sorry.
She pops it.
Wendy: There, I said it!
Aqua: But I couldn't…
Wendy: Don't care! I said it! My conscience is clear.
She was about to walk away, but she was wrong. Her guilt didn't disappear. It kept haunting her with more flash backs.
Lochlady #2: It must've been pretty terrible to make her cry like that.
Mario: April Fools… JERK!
Peach: GET THE HELL OUT OF MY CASTLE AND OUT OF MY KINGDOM RIGHT NOW! AND DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING NEAR MY LITTLE SISTER EVER AGAIN!
Bowser: YOU STINK!
Wendy: Bowser?!
Not taking it anymore, she ran back to Aqua in a desperate state, who shut her door.
Wendy: All right, all right! I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I admit it, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you, in fact, I never wanted to ruin your vacation back on Isle Delfino! Nor, do I care about taking over the Mushroom Kingdom! The truth is, I like you, Aqua! I liked meeting you on the island, even though we had to fight! I also like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, and all the other people Bowser is forcing me against!
Aqua opens the door a bit, now happy.
Aqua: Wendy, is all of that true?
Wendy: Yes, Aqua. Yes, it's all true.
Aqua: Even the part about liking all of us?
Wendy: Yes! It's true! But you have to promise not to tell anybody! Bowser would kill me!
Aqua: I promise.
Wendy: Really?
Aqua opens the door, revealing everyone that was at Peach's Castle inside.
Everyone: April Fools!
Wendy twitches her eye before going crazy.
Wendy: April Fools! You're right, April Fools! I just fooled you all!
Wendy laughs hysterically, before running all the way back to Bowser's Castle.
Aqua: Oh, those koopalings.
Mario: You bet. What would we do without them?
