Cliff, a pokémon fanfic

Dave is an 8 year old eevee. He has been a wild pal for the past 12 years and on the 7th of January 2016 when he was just 1.5 years old he took over a typical cliff the family have built for him.

It was a combination of poor planning, safety and not understanding what was going on that allowed this to happen, the reason he fell to his death, thankfully, is not known.

He fell into a dreary pit in the cliff wall and was not able to get back out. His name is Scott Cowles but to us he's just Dave.

Dave had his whole life ahead of him and for the past 12 years, he and his mom have happily stood on the edge of the cliff hoping for a fall that never came.

Unfortunately, the worst is yet to come.

There were a lot of things that helped Dave get through the trauma of losing his job. The pain, grief and fear had to be checked off a few different boxes in his life, all of which helped him create a fully functioning adult. He'd live in the barn with his family and they would feed him, take him to the bathroom, and diaper him. That way, Dave could start his day with his family, then spend the day playing with his wife and two dogs, as she'd be spending most.

Dave evolved into a flareon. Next he discovered that the tube extension on his muzzle had a tiny bit of serrated metal - which he is now using to smooth out his breath after his walk. Another one of his specialities is a flick gun, which gives him back his hands on occasion. All these specialism led to his first residency appointment with Leuven University Hospital, where he had it quickly reinforced that with his extreme knowledge in Biology and biology education he will be able to contribute towards his individual work in the field of modern medicine. By the end of 2010 he had also completed his postgraduate training. In December 2011, he got married to Maaike, who is now a nurse in a school. Before and during his wedding.

Maaike is a vaporeon. If you're trying to catch a vaporeon, the rest of the team probably isn't helpful. And just to be clear, you are at fault for the outcomes of your Vaporeon catches.

The whole glitch is so easy to spot it's downright bizarre. If you're using UU, chances are you're doing it wrong. The general way you're supposed to do the glitch is to watch the game, select a pokemon, go to the point where you're attempting to walk down a straight line, and then select the move Squirtle, and then select the Pokemon you're trying to catch (Caterpie or eevee, etc).

Before he fell, Dave met Maaike by the cliff. There was a very short chat about growing up in the ghetto and the reason Maaike stayed in Unova, so Dave can't remember exactly what it was.

It was after Dave "murdered" Maaike. They went to a party, got drunk, got into a fight. Maaike broke off a few bones on Dave's paw. This went on for a week or two, and one day, Dave took a shot.

He awoke in bed and realized he had a broken nose. No time for doctor's visits and prescriptions, Dave went to the emergency room. They found he'd been hit by a baseball. But at the hospital he met a guy by the name of Kyle. Kyle was, like, a baseball hero, too. He just happened to be on the other side of the fence from Dave, and he was on a roll.

So Kyle offered to let Dave get him some ice cream. They ended up taking the ice cream back to the North-Country Rock. No, not that North-Country Rock, the other North-Country Rock. In another lot, next to the Main Street Drug, a very odd but totally delicious joint that offered more ice cream and sold beer than you could shake a stick at.

So Dave and Kyle had some ice cream.

When dave realized his wife died, he didn't know how to deal with it.

It was unnerving.

It was too odd.

In the only other visual he had of his wife, he could see something very similar to the scene in his imagination, though it wasn't the exact same.

She was lying on the ground, bare paws dug into the dust. Just like before. This time she had no change to her body at all.

He had been diagnosed with cancer. He'd started as a web programmer and become somewhat notorious for pulling web animations with that, figuring out what could go wrong and then fix it. When dave took over the business, he spent a lot of time trying to figure out what went wrong in order to fix it. He wrote through his computer, talking to his wife about the things that were actually worth talking about. He called every film his wife ever did and sent her a packet of home movies, from her career in social services.

Dave is a flareon.

He likes to play with cars and he is a bad boy. He likes to play in public. The parents like him to do this. But the other kids have always been mad, and so do the cops. So one day he goes with his cousin and plays and the cops come. The cops tell him to stop. He does. The cops want to charge him for it and he says he doesn't care, that he can't be charged with that. And the cops say that they have to do it. So they do. They put him in the cell and all the kids are watching because they don't want him to die and it happens and they make him do it again, and another time, and another time. Then one day the cop says, "I just wanted to show you a good time, so I took a guy to the hospital for a burn. That's all. They are taking the bad kids for that burn. What will it do you?" "It is nothing". "They have to do it. Don't you understand?" And Dave says, "Yes. Yes I understand". So he gets in the cell for a few days.

So then the cops come out. They give him a little paper and say, look here you can't be arrested for that. But if you are arrested you go with a court hearing and then I'll see you in court. So if you are arrested you go with a court hearing.

Dave commit suicide by cliff jump (the suicide was filmed, but not released)

Amber is shot and dies by a police officer (the video is still up, but has been pulled as evidence)

An unknown police sniper shoots Amber, leaving her on the floor of the church (but still up as evidence)
