FOREWORD
Erudite Eriol Hiiragizawa has been a bibliophile all his life. Even as a reincarnation of the powerful sorcerer, Clow Reed, he still possesses human emotions. After letting Sakura Kinomoto split his powers in half between him and her father, the powerful sorcerer's other reincarnation, he has become more susceptible to developing new emotions, particularly fear and uncertainty.
Have it not been for the ancient book he has brought home one day with an otherworldly cover emanating a strange aura, he probably could have kept his emotions at bay. However, one night, in his dream, he gets led to a mysterious door by a distraught sprite asking him to open it. When he does, he gets drawn into a whimsical world, entirely different from their own, even from his past. He surprisingly finds a person he expected to see the least: Tomoyo Daidouji.
As the world before him fades to black, he can here a soft feminine voice, calling out desperately, hoping he can hear her pleas.
"Please, reincarnation of Clow Reed, save our dying world."
