2 years after MWAK ended

Brittany was sitting out on the balcony attached to their bedroom, a glass of wine on the table next to her, while she scrolled through her iPad. Picking up her apple pencil, she made a few quick notes before setting it back down and continuing to read over notes from the meeting she took that afternoon, wanting to make sure she had everything in order to talk to Santana about that evening when the Latina got back from a quick day trip to Vegas with Mercedes.

Mercedes called Santana that morning and invited her to Vegas with her for the day to do some shopping and hang out, wanting to get a little girl time with her. The two had been close since Santana originally moved to California and always made time to hang out with each other, with life being hectic as of late, they hadn't had a chance to really just catch up and talk. So when Santana got the call early that morning, she talked it over with Brittany, making sure the two didn't have any major plans before getting dressed and heading to pick up Mercedes and the Lopez Pierce family plane to fly there.

Brittany hung around the house, working on more plans for the wine bar the two were opening, and starting to look over plans for the sportsbar they planned on opening right after. She then went to Hannah's house, surprising her sister and taking her out to lunch and to do a little shopping themselves, before she got a call and had a take a quick meeting about their wine bar. Their accountant gave her some new numbers about the budget, and some other overhead costs they would accrue since they were paying out of pocket for everything, Santana not wanting to take out any loans for anything. They even purchased the space they were using, opting against leasing it, which the seller wasn't too happy about, but couldn't refuse the amount that Santana offered to pay.

They took a week long trip to Napa a weeks ago where they sampled and tasted some wines, picking out the signature wines they wanted for the wine bar, and while selecting some bottles for their personal collection. The grand opening was set for exactly 3 months away and while Santana seemed cool and calm as ever about the opening, Brittany was constantly on pins and needles, stressing over even the smallest details. Since Santana, who was usually the one to stress over business type dealings for them was so calm it seemed to stress Brittany out even more, and often made her wonder if Santana was as all in with the idea of a wine bar as she was, but she would see Santana studying about different wines and looking over their business plan at the oddest moments and would relax a little, and welcomed the calmer approach her wife was taking, since it gave her the luxury to stress out.

She took another sip of her wine and closed her eyes, picturing the wine bar full of people on a busy night, her and Santana mingling with customers, laughter filling the space, the jazz pianist over to the side playing the perfect melody to set the mood when she heard momma being yelled loudly and sighed.

"I'm out on the balcony." She replied.

"Hey momma." Carter grinned, leaning down to kiss her on the cheek.

Carter hit yet another growth spurt was now 6 foot 7 inches, towering over his old brothers, he had his hair in short all over his head, tapered in the back with a few parts. He had an even more muscular physique than he did when he played basketball, and looked more and more like Santana as he got older.

"Hey C Man." She smiled. "What's up?"

Carter, who was wearing a pair of black ripped jeans, with a blue jean shirt rolled up to his ellbow, a black Rolex watch, a gift from Santana on landing his new role, on his wrist. He had on bright yellow and orange striped socks, a pair of Nike soccer slides on his feet and quickly sat down lifting legs across Brittany's lap, causing her to laugh.

"Nice socks." She laughed. "Part of the new line?"

"Yep, they'll be released next month." He nodded proudly wiggling his toes. Carter used his first big advance to launch a sock line, shocking and impressing the whole family, who thought he would buy the motorcycle he'd always wanted. Soxxxxx was doing great as an online retailer, selling a variety of unisex pattern socks. Santana became a silent investor within the first month and was even one of the official models for the website, which in turn made sales triple. "I have a swag bag for you on the couch in there, I just got new designs in today."

"Oh la la, I can't wait." She smiled as he moved his feet and took a sip of her wine, before she could protest.

"Nice." Carter nodded in approval.

"You're 20, you have no idea what wine is good." Brittany smiled.

"So do I get to sell my socks in the wine bar?"

"No." Brittany shook her head quickly. "At the sportsbar yes, not at the wine bar."

"Fine." Carter shrugged. "Are we waiting for mom to come home to eat dinner?"

"No, go ahead, I'm not sure what time her plane is landing." Brittany replied. "Tell Roble he can leave once he's done putting everything in dishes.

"Sweet." Carter replied. "Oh, I got Hendrix the sweetest one year birthday gift too, it's why I'm the favorite uncle, Ashton's gift will be trash."

"Stop it." Brittany shook her head, knowing that Carter and Ashton had been at odds the past couple of weeks. "I don't want any mess at the party."

Carter nodded before leaving the room. "We'll see."

Brittany rolled her eyes and saved the notes on her iPad, standing up and carrying her wine down to the kitchen, smiling at Nala and Lady Tubbington that were in the corner of the living room section of their bedroom, sitting on their new carpet perch. "See you two later." She winked when Nala purred as she walked by.

Brittany reached the kitchen and made herself a plate of the lambchops, glazed carrots, mashed sweet potatoes, and sauteed spinach before sitting down at the kitchen island next to Carter. "Where's Mack?"

Carter shrugged while picking up another lambchop and biting it quickly. Chef Roble walked in the room and laughed at Carter, "don't worry Brittany I made a lot, I have another 2 dozen in the warmer for you."

"Thanks." Brittany smiled. "Santana will be wiring you money for this weeks payments once she's back in town this evening."

"No problem at all." He smiled. "Have a good night."

"When do you go back to filming?" Brittany asked.

"Monday night."

"Need to learn any lines tonight, or do you want to watch a movie with me?" She asked sweetly, still always having a soft spot for her baby boy.

"I don't need to learn anything new, but you know that when mom comes home you'll ditch me and the movie." Carter laughed as Mackenzie walked in the kitchen.

"Thanks for the socks, Carter." She smiled, before hugging Brittany. and fixing herself a plate.

"No big deal." Carter replied.

"Hey everyone." Santana smiled, walking in the kitchen, hugging Brittany from behind and peppering kisses down the side of her face until the blonde turned and caught her lips.

"Hungry?" Brittany asked, standing up to fix her wife a plate, Santana frowning at her right away.

"Finish eating, B, I got it." Santana told her, taking the plate out of her hand. "Ohhhhhh lamb chops," she smiled happily, tossing 4 on her plate right away.

"How was Vegas?" Mackenzie asked.

"Very relaxing, we hit a spa, so amazing, I'm taking you soon babe." She mumbled in between bites. "I did a little shopping too."

Carter grinned happily. "What did you get us?"

Brittany frowned. "Carter..."

"I created this monsters B, this is my fault." Santana laughed. "For my favorite 20 year old, a one of a kind Alex Monopoly MCM bag."

"Shit!" Carter yelled happily.

"That can easily and quickly be given away, or kept for myself." Santana snapped. "I mean, seriously, try to act like you have some home training."

Mackenzie laughed loudly before taking a sip of her juice. "What did you get momma?"

"Me." Santana smiled brightly causing Brittany to laugh. "I got you a new weekender bag." She told her daughter, Mackenzie blushing since she knew that meant Santana filled it with a bunch of stuff.

"So I didn't get anything?" Brittany asked.

Santana stared at her. "Am I not enough?" She asked, batting her eyes causing her wife to laugh. "I got you a new watch."

"Boring." Carter laughed.

Brittany rolled her eyes, knowing that Santana didn't get her a watch but leaned over and kissed her a thank you on her full cheeks as chewed, causing the Latina to blush.

10pm

Santana sat in the living room portion of their room sipping a glass of wine. "The news is scary, B."

Brittany looked up from her laptop where she was typing up some notes about the Wine Bar and frowned, "wait...we have to shelter in place?" She asked quickly.

Santana sat up straighter, and rolled her eyes before flopping back angrily. "Fuck!" She yelled while taking her glasses off and rubbing her eyes. "Well better safe than sorry. I want everyone here. Hannah and her kids, and Noah and his."

Raising an eyebrow Brittany stared at her wife. "What..."

"Everyone is quarantining here." Santana huffed, grabbing her phone and sending out a massive text message to everyone. "We have the room, we need to grocery shop, we can't have Roble working, or the maids..." She began to ramble causing Brittany to stand up and walk over to her, hugging her after placing her hand on her chest and feeling her heartbeat.

"Calm down." Brittany told her softly. "Tomorrow morning we can call everyone on a conference call and work out logistics, and see if everyone would want to stay with us. Then we can make a huge grocery list and fill up both fridges."

"No." Santana shook her head. "I don't want you leaving the house and getting sick, babe. I'll take Carter and Mack with me, we can conquer different parts of the store and get out quickly."

Brittany smiled and nodded. "Sounds good, let's make a list tomorrow morning, and I'll have my mom make a list of what she needs as well."

Santana groaned. "So we can't go to Paris in two weeks, eh?"

"Nope." Brittany laughed. "We can plan something romantic here and it'll feel like we are in Paris."

4 Days later

Santana walked into the massive family room, sipping on a glass of mango lemonade, and looked around the room making sure everyone was in attendance. She finally sat down on the couch next to Brittany, kissing her on the cheek, clearing her throat softly before smiling at Raven, as the now 2 year old came running over to her, climbing in her lap. She peppered kisses to the top of her head as Raven grabbed her hand and began to play with her bracelet.

"Okay, so we have reached a point in this pandemic where it's become necessary for everyone to shelter in place, we all agreed as a family to bunker down here, so we have some rules, since there are a lot of us right now. Noah, Madison, and their kids will be in the pool house, which luckily we agreed on the recommendation of the contractors on having the full kitchen, living room, and 3 bedrooms. Our babies can of course come stay in the main house whenever they want, since we have a 10 bedroom house." Santana stated.

"Sweet." Noah nodded, Madison agreeing softly while glancing at Nicholas as he squirmed on the couch, trying to get comfortable.

"Mom, you are still in your house which is on the property anyways." Brittany smiled, when they built their new house they built Mrs. Pierce a three bedroom house on the land that was a little more than a football field's length away from the main house. She had her own pool, garage, garden, and most importantly privacy. She had an intercom system that allowed her to reach the main house whenever she wanted and needed them for anything. "Hannah, you and your kids are in the maids house, so you can still have your family unit and your privacy, again with the kids able to come and stay/hang out with us anytime they want." The maids house was a 3 bedroom house that they allowed their maid and staff to stay in during the day while they were working. It was a place for them to relax and take breaks, and also do various tasks throughout the day, on very rare occasions they would stay overnight. Upon building the new house they found it necessary to finally have a housekeeping staff for common rooms in the large estate.

"I still come play with you, Aunt Sanny?" Aubrey asked shyly.

"Totally." Santana nodded firmly. "I got us a brand new puzzle to put together." She added, winking at her, "we can color some new pictures too."

"The rest of you, well you live here already so..." Santana shrugged. "You know where you sleep." She added, taking a sip of her lemonade.

Brittany nodded. "Hannah and Noah, the kitchens are stocked for you both, with the basic essentials, and then with some things we know that each of your families like..."

"If it's not there, go get it your damn self, but don't come in the main house after that." Santana snapped quickly. "Brit has lupus as we all know, so cannot be exposed, we will not be playing around about that. We are getting groceries delivered, and taking all the necessary precautions with that."

"Yes, ummm, I know this is going to be hard and difficult, and it's an inconvenience at times, but that's why we opened up our house and estate to everyone. You all know you have access to everything in the house, so let's try to make the best of everything." Brittany stated.

"Are you girls still utilizing Emily, or allowing her to be home with her family?" Mrs. Pierce asked.

Santana smiled, "she's still working, but just through Skype and phone calls, we are still paying her like normal, but we aren't having her deliver anything for us, or run any errands."

"Great." Mrs. Pierce beamed.

Madison set Hendrix down, since the almost 1 year old was squirming and starting to whine, she watched him crawl to the middle of the family room and sit down, starting around the room at everyone, causing them all to laugh before he quickly crawled over to Noah, pulling himself up and holding his father's leg tightly, Noah pulling his pacifier out of his mouth.

"BB, we can still ride the go karts?" Nicholas asked.

"Yep, we are racing later today." She winked at her oldest grandson, causing him to smile brightly.

"Okay, so get comfy everyone." Santana smiled, standing up and reaching for her glass and leaving the room, headed to their wing of the house.

Brittany stared at her wife before sighing. "We are all going to be here for at least a month, let's respect each other, share the communal spaces such as the theater, the bowling alley, the basketball court, the gym, and both pools, indoor and outdoor. We aren't using the chefs and will be cooking ourselves here, so if you and your family are joining us, let us know so we make enough for everyone, which I'm sure won't be an issue for San, since she cooks enough for an army anyways." Brittany laughed, causing the room to laugh since they all knew who much food Santana typically cooked.

8pm

Brittany carried a bowl of sliced strawberries and a bowl of fresh whipped cream up to the their bedroom, smiling at Santana who was sitting out on the balcony, Anita Baker's greatest hit playing from her BOSE bluetooth speaker. "Hey babe." Santana smiled brightly when she felt Brittany kiss her gently on the temple.

"Hey, feel like a snack?" Brittany asked, sitting down on the wicker couch.

Santana nodded quickly, grabbing the bowl to set it on the table for them, she then walked in the bedroom and headed down to their living room area grabbing a bottle of Pinot Noir out of their wine fridge with two glasses. She glanced at her cell phone, which was tossed on the bed, she saw a series of texts coming in but decided to ignore them and spend some time with Brittany.

"Thanks babe," Brittany smiled as Santana poured them each a glass of wine. "Let's talk for a few minutes."

Santana raised an eyebrow but nodded, she could tell it would be a somewhat serious conversation by Brittany's tone, so she turned the music down and turned to face her more, sliding her leg under her to better angle her body. She took a long, slow sip while staring at Brittany as she casually tossed a strawberry in her mouth. "Am I in trouble?" She asked softly when Brittany took too long to speak.

"What?" Brittany asked, chewing her strawberry and taking a sip of wine. "Wait...why did you break or use of mine?"

"Nothing." Santana laughed. "Well, I wore new Gucci hoodie to the store the other day...oh you saw the candids right?"

Brittany frowned. "I didn't even get a chance to wear it yet, Sanny." She rolled her eyes. "No, I didn't see that." She added. "I just want to talk to you about everything that's going on. I know you wanted everyone to quarantine together, and it's great that we are all able to stay together but I want you to take some time to yourself everyday. Even if it's just 20 minutes to write in your journal or meditate."

Santana nodded. "My anxiety is okay, B."

"I know." Brittany nodded quickly, setting her glass down and reaching for Santana's hand, holding it between hers. "This is a scary time, hell I'm anxious about everything myself. Don't hold anything in, okay? Just talk to me when you feel anxious about everything. I'm here, okay?"

"Got it." Santana nodded with a smile.

"Also with us all being in close quarters, well somewhat considering how big this place is, I need you to promise to let Noah and Madison, and Hannah raise their own kids." Brittany said sternly.

Santana raised an eyebrow, "what is that supposed to mean?"

"It means I need you to relax babe, if their mothers say no to dessert or to watching a movie or something, we..." She paused and motioned between the two of them. "We will respect that."

"My house, my rules." Santana shrugged.

Brittany cleared her throat. "My name is first on the paperwork, my house my rules." She mimicked, raising an eyebrow at her wife before sighing. "I just want this be remain peaceful, I don't care how big the estate is, or that we can literally go the entire time without seeing anyone else...I want this to go peaceful."

Santana scoffed. "So I'm the problem?"

"Nope, I'm having a talk with everyone, but I respect you and love you the most, so I'm coming to you first. You're my Sanny Bear." She winked, causing Santana to blush. "Please, babe."

"I hear you, baby." Santana nodded, leaning forward and kissing her softly. "This will be a seamless quarantine."

Brittany chuckled to herself knowing this time all together would be anything but.

Midnight

Mackenzie laid in bed on her stomach, tapping her fingers impatiently on her laptop while she waited for the reciepeint of her Facetime to answer. She glanced at her phone and quickly replied to a text from Andie before rolling her eyes and tossing the phone down. Even though the two were no longer a couple they were able to remain cordial and after several months rekindled their friendship. Mackenzie groaned while ending the Facetime call and restarting it, smiling when her boyfriend, AJ, came into view.

Sorry, I was in the bathroom.

It's okay, I just wanted to see your face and hear your voice. This is worse than being on punishment by Snix.

It's been like 12 hours since LA went on Lockdown. He laughed, AJ was a 16 year old model that Mackenzie met on set for a Nike shoot. The two were paired up in the campaign and quickly hit it off a few months ago. He was 6 foot 4, caramel skin, with a muscular build and a low haircut. Santana and Brittany loved him, while her brothers tolerated him, aside from Carter, who actually really like him, the two bonding over basketball.

Yeah, but we were supposed to be at the Chance The Rapper concert tomorrow.

We can facetime and play his album together.

Mackenzie rolled her eyes but smiled when AJ started to rap a song. Fine, well I have to go, my moms have everybody staying with us, so my niece is in bed with me. Talk to you tomorrow, babe, love you.

Love you too. Sleep tight.

Mackenzie closed her laptop and tossed it on the floor, she then turned on the lights that lined her ceiling giving the room a soft glow, switching them to pink before heading to her massive attached bathroom and taking a quick shower. She then slipped in bed and cuddled with Peyton while turning on Netflix, scrolling to find something to watch.

Madison walked in the bedroom carrying Hendrix, who was fussy that night, rubbing his back while held a toy hammer tightly in his little hands, hiding his face in her chest. She glanced at Noah as he sat in the corner of the large bedroom in the recliner chair on his iPad, sipping a glass of Scotch, and rolled her eyes as she sat on the edge of the bed slowly and began to hum softly to Hendrix. "You're okay, I know you're sleeping."

"No." Hendrix mumbled softly into her chest, causing her to laugh.

"Yes." She replied softly. "Some help with the kids would have been nice tonight." She told Noah.

Noah glanced up and frowned. "I'm working, you know that."

"Yeah, working on a glass of scotch." She replied back, adjusting Hendrix who was now drifting to sleep.

"You've been in mood all day, what's the problem." Noah asked, standing up and tossing his ipad on the chair. He reached for Hendrix, ruffling his hair before rocking slowly making sure he drifted deeper into sleep. He stared at Madison trying to gauge her mood, noticing her pick up her cell phone and start texting. "Um, he's asleep so i'm going to take him to bed." Madison hummed an okay and headed to the bathroom where she hopped in the shower quickly.

When Madison finally emerged from the bathroom she saw Noah sitting on the bed waiting on her, "talk." Noah commanded softly.

Madison sat down in one of the chairs to the side and sighed. "I don't want to be quarantined here, why couldn't we just stay home?"

Noah's jaw dropped slightly. "My moms want us all together, so they can still see the grandkids."

"Mom, Santana." Madison clarified.

Noah groaned and walked over to his wife, kneeling in front of her and grabbing her hands. "I know it's a bit of an inconvenience, but you can relax just as much, we don't need to cook, it's a smaller house...so not as much to clean."

Madison rolled her eyes, "one of these days you need to grow up and stand up to your mother. I had to pack up my own damn home office, and we are in the middle of a huge merger, so I have to take an hour or so to unpack everything, while trying to get the kids situated with online school, they are sharing rooms now, which is bound to cause some tears, and..."

Noah raised an eyebrow at her before leaning forward and kissing her softly to quiet her. "Relax...yes, it's a change for everyone, but we can have Grey or Mack help with online school, they are young and don't have a whole lot of intense learning, you know that my moms will watch them as well, so will Grammy." He sighed and lifted her up, sitting down quickly, before placing her in his lap and hugging her tightly. "It fucking sucks, right? I get it, Maddie, trust me I would rather be at home too, but having family around will definitely help with you still working and having meetings, and just getting some rest, so this little one..." He placed his hand on her stomach. "Can can grow big and strong like their big siblings."

Madison wiped the tears from her eyes. "I'm sorry, I'm just stressed with everything going on, having to get tested last week because of the case at my office."

"But it came back negative, we got the results this morning." Noah reminded her. "Everything will be okay."

Madison nodded. "I know, so when are telling everyone about baby boy?"

"Well, that's up to you, but we've been lucky that mom and momma have been traveling so much and the whole family hasn't been together lately, with you traveling a lot as well, then the quarantine we had at the house with me coming back from Thailand with Manny. We were able to kind of avoid everything since you started showing recently. But you know the oversized hoodies won't last too much longer." He laughed.

Madison rolled her eyes playfully, "right, well let's plan for tomorrow, Peyton kind of knows something is going on anyways."

"And you know my mom will grill the kids soon enough to find out whatever she can, bribing them with junk and toys." Noah laughed.

"Of course." Madison agreed. "Well, I'm headed to bed."

Noah nodded, "right behind you."

Carter walked in the home gym that was triple the size of the home gym they had before, and rolled his neck around while he swung his arms to loosen them up a bit. It was now two levels with the upper level being loft style with treadmills, elliptical, and bikes; three of each. The bottom level was equipped with a number of free weights and weight benches. Next to workout room was a full court indoor basketball court that had a wall to ceiling glass wall that could open to the backyard where there was a tennis court and small gokart track. The other side of the gym led to the indoor pool and jacuzzi, the sauna to the side.

He noticed Ashton running on the treadmill and scowled as he made his way to the bike, he turned on the large projector tv that covered the wall from both levels and flipped through before settling on a Fresh Prince marathon. Ashton slowed down and took his headphones out to speak to him when Carter quickly put his in and began to peddle.

"Grow up." Ashton stated, hopping off the treadmill and heading downstairs to the weight.

"Fuck off." Carter mumbled.

"Get away from the intercom." Brittany rolled her eyes, walking back in the bedroom after taking a phone call in her office.

"I'm just making sure everyone is home." Santana shrugged, turning off the intercom in their bedroom and yawning as she walked over and slipped in bed.

"You were being nosey, I know Mack was on the phone or Facetime or something." Brittany raised an eyebrow. "Or you're spying on Carter."

Santana smiled brightly and shrugged as she reached for the remote and turned the tv on. "Friends or Living Single?"

"Close you eyes and pick." Brittany laughed.

6pm "Hendrix..." Brittany said softly, rubbing her grandson's back while bouncing him as she walked around the family room, the baby screaming at the top of his lungs.

Santana was holding Raven, drying her eyes as well rubbing her back, the two having been running around playing and collided, bumping their heads into each other. "It's okay, Ray Ray, it was an accident." She told her softly, wanting to make sure Raven knew she wasn't in trouble for basically trampling her little brother.

Peyton looked up from her coloring book and smiled when Santana winked at her. "Rabbit, can you pick up all of Hendrix blocks for me and set them in the bin, please."

"Okay, Lita." She replied happily, jumping off the couch and stepping on Nicholas' back, since he was laying on the floor playing the playstation. "Sorry."

Nick shrugged and kept playing, picking up his juice box and taking a long sip. "S'okay."

Brittany laughed at him before kissing Hendrix on the top of the head when he was finally down to a sniffle and exhaled deeply on her chest. "Okay, we haven't had a scream fest like that in years." She told her wife.

Santana raised an eyebrow, "more like a decade, I have a headache now." She groaned. "Why did we agree to babysit tonight again?"

Brittany shrugged as Hannah walked in the living room, "whoa." She laughed at all the toys covering the floor. "So, you two don't want this then?" She asked, lifting the two bottles of champagne she brought over. "So many legos." She laughed. "Looks like the living room out in the maids house right now I came here for a break since Mack is watching my kids."

"Why do you have two bottles?" Santana laughed, walking over and kissing her on the cheek to greet her, Raven waving at Hannah.

"Hey Ray Ray." Hannah smiled, tickling her slightly. "Quarantine necessities." She laughed.

"Get glasses, now." Santana told them, walking over to the couch and setting down Raven, who grabbed a stuffed animal and hugged it tightly as Peyton climbed on the couch and sat next to her.

"Here Ray." Nicholas said, holding his juice box up to his sister to take a few sips. He then nodded proudly to himself and laid back down to finish his game.

Brittany glanced down at him and picked up the empty Starburst wrappers surrounding him, "10 more minutes then I'm going to put on a movie for all of you."

"Okay BB." Nicholas smiled happily, knowing that meant Santana was making popcorn and other snacks for them.

Santana stretched and shook her arms out, "whoever wants popcorn has 2 minutes to pick up all of the toys so BB and Lita don't break their necks."

Hannah laughed and sat down on the couch, accepting Hendrix from Brittany's arms, the baby sniffling and cuddling into her chest, as she began to hum and rock him side to side. "Grandma daycare seems to be going brilliantly." She teased.

"Whatever." Santana rolled her eyes with a smile. "It's been a while since we had all four at one time and Lita is slightly going crazy."

Brittany glanced at her and smiled, "you wanted everyone here." She stated as she kissed her and went to the kitchen to make popcorn and snacks for the kids.
