Hey guys! I'm back with a sequel/side story one shot to my Confrontation one shot. When I was writing this, I was drinking tea, playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and low-key panicking about all of the online schoolwork I have to do. Anyway, enjoy!

"Kai? Where are you?" Sera called, her head whipping around violently as she took in the dark, misty forest around her. "Sera!" The fire ninja replied quietly. His sword was drawn, his shirt torn from when branches had snagged it.

He crept towards her, eyes roaming nervously around. "Where are the others?" She replied. "Don't know." Panic bloomed in Sera's chest.

"Let's find them," She commanded. He nodded and gripped the hilt of his katana. "Don't you have a weapon?" He muttered.

She crouched down and placed a palm on the wet grass below. Three sharp throwing knives appeared beside her hand, fading in from thin air. "Yep," She said, sliding two of the knives into her pockets and slicing the third defensively through the air.

"How did you-?" Kai gasped, clearly shocked. "My elemental power is creation," She shrugged, setting off into the brush. Kai soon followed.

Sera hacked at the thick vines and abundant branches that blocked her path. Kai stuck close behind her. She thought she heard a faint rustling echoing through the forest, but she ignored it, trudging on like nothing happened.

"Do you think we should call out for them?" Kai asked Sera. "I think that's fine," She replied, taking a deep, soothing breath. "Hello!? Is anyone out there?" Kai called, an edge of anxiety creeping into his voice.

No one responded.

Sera had to be strong. Anyone she knew could tell you that she wasn't the… Bravest person in the world…

She screamed at almost anything.

But, she had to keep herself safe. She had to stay alive. For her family, for herself, and for Krystal. Because who knows what Krystal would do without Sera to guide her.

A few hours later, the sun was setting. The forest air was growing colder, the light lower. "Oh no-" Kai muttered from behind Sera, shaking his head. "What?" Sera answered quietly. "In the Wildwood Forest… At night… L-Large insects c-come out." "How large?" Sera hissed suspiciously. Kai didn't answer.

Crack!

The sound of a branch snapping underfoot sounded out. Kai and Sera instinctively looked down to check for twigs on the ground. There were none.

Sera screamed shrilly as a large, hairy tarantula crawled in front of her and Kai. It was the size of a large dog. She panted nervously as she held her knife in front of her. "Run!" She yelled, pushing Kai backward.

He stumbled but disappeared into the forest. Sera dashed after him, blade still pointed towards the large arachnid.

She transferred all of her energy into her right foot. She felt the power rush to it as a solid concrete wall exploded from where her foot had been a moment ago. "That should hold it off," She stated, tearing after Kai.

"Kai!" Sera exclaimed, breaking the silence, "I see Zane!" Occasionally, a flash of a white tunic would appear in front of them. "Me too!" He replied, sighing in relief.

"Zane!" They called in unison. Zane suddenly shot in front of them. Ice crystals were floating around him as if he had recently used his elemental powers. He had a large, shallow wound running across his chest.

"Zane? Are you-" Sera muttered. "I'm fine. It's shallow," He interrupted, motioning to his injury. Sera nodded, flinching as Cole materialized beside them. "Where's Sera and Jay?" He immediately questioned. "I… Don't know…" Sera replied solemnly.

"Then what are we doing? We need to find them!" He ordered, grabbing the golden scythe that was slung on his back. "Agreed." Zane murmured. Sera nodded. Kai blinked nervously.

They all drew their weapons and continued through the dark, dangerous forest.

"Jay! What the…?" Cole exclaimed. Then he noticed Krystal. "Oh my god!" Sera squealed, "That's Krystal for ya. Always loves the dramatics!" "I heard that," Krystal murmured in mock annoyance, but it was obvious that she was thankful for the backup.

Cole stepped forward, beside Krystal, and glared at Pythor. "Krystal," he commanded, "Get behind us. You've done enough. Thank you." He smiled at her.

She nodded solemnly and stepped behind Cole as the rest of the ninja filed in beside him. She folded her winds onto her back, and they disappeared in a flash, along with her sword.

In the end, Pythor and his troops had been driven away, and the Monastery had been reclaimed. Jay and Zane's injuries were healing quickly. After a quick nap, Krystal felt as good as new.

After waking up, Krystal noticed that no one else was awake. So, she decided to head to the living room to finish her book.

Expecting for no one to be there, she gasped when she saw Cole on the couch, watching a game show. "Cole?" He was wearing a tight white T-shirt and black sweatpants. He sat up when he saw her. "You doing ok?" He asked, worried. "I'm fine."

He collapsed beside him and leaned on his shoulder, turning her gaze to the TV. Without looking away, Cole whispered, "I was really worried about you."
