Ron the Babysitter

Hey all, this isn't going to be a ship fic. It's just a little drabble that found it's way into my head about Ron having to watch Hana during school. In this Ron and Kim didn't hook up at prom but STD did still happen. If you look a bit deeper into it you might find a pairing, I am a filthy shipper after all, but by and large it will be open to interpitation.

For anyone who asks because I will be using it a lot, "Imoto" in Japanese means "Little Sister" and "Aniki" means "Big Brother".

As always, please. Read Review and Enjoy!

Chapter 1; First Day

"You can't be serious!" Ron groaned as he watched his mother pack a small suitcase, she couldn't be serious.

Andrea Stoppable sighed as she clicked the lock of her suitcase, "Honey I know this is sudden and I'm sorry but your father and I don't have a choice in the matter. We have to attend this consultation."

"I'm really starting to think you boss is taking advantage of you," Ron growled in annoyance as he picked up the suitcase for his mother.

"I do too," Andrea groaned as she recalled how many time that ass looked her right in the eye and told her she and Elliott would be leaving in less than a day to clean up what ever he had managed to screw up. "I know it's a lot to ask but it's only going to be four days and two of them are the weekend."

Ron sighed, "Great, no offence Mom but what exactly am I supposed to do? I can't just take off for two days of school. Mr. Barkin already doesn't like me and I really don't want to give him any more reasons to do so." Andrea gave her son a look, causing him to laugh slightly and scratch the back of his head.

"I've already talked to your school," Andrea said as the two made it down to the car where Elliott was putting away his own suitcase, "while not happy with it, they have agreed to it." Seeing Ron drop his head she lifted his chin and said, "Honey I know you can do this. It'll only be four days."

Waving at his parents as they drove off Ron turned to the bundle of energy named Hana, who was bouncing next to him and waving goodbye. "Okay Imoto," Ron said as he picked up his new baby sister, "Looks like it's just going to be you me and Rufus for the night. What do you say to some homemade applesauce?" He got a happy giggle from Hana.

It took Ron far longer than he wanted to admit to warm up to the idea of his parents adopting a new kid, then again it probably wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't sprung it on him the afternoon before but regardless. Now that she was a Stoppable Ron began to change quickly, so much so that it actually drew concern for the ones around him.

Overnight Ron matured by at least five years. At home he was always playing with Hana or helping with the chores to make sure his parents had the time and energy for her, his own room being spotless in less than a day and the garage done later that week.

In school his grades jumped from low Ds to high Bs and low As, Ron even went so far as to do any extra credit he could to make this happen. When questioned on it by Barkin Ron made it known that he had a responsibility to his new little sister to set a good example. Style wise he didn't change much if all, he was still every kind of weird under the sun but his very presence seemed to draw the eye of others now, if only because he was now going threw life with an actual purpose. That, much to the ire of many other boys, were beginning to draw certain sets of eyes in particular.

When Friday rolled around Bonnie and Tara found themselves happily gossiping near the lockers, namely about a certain blonde.

"I still can believe how much Ron's changed in just a few months," Tara had said with a happy sigh, "I mean just look at him, he was already cute before but now? Even you can't deny that he's a hottie!"

"Don't tell me what I can and can't deny," Bonnie groaned as she turned away with a blush. As loathe as she was to admit it, Bonnie knew very well Tara had a point. Stoppable had gone from a loser lapdog to someone that commanded a certain amount of respect.

The sound of the front entrance opening drew both girls attention. "I'm telling you Kim, I have half a mind to go down to the head office and giving that moron a piece of my mind." Ron said with an air of agitation in his voice.

"Yes, then your parents would be out of a job." Kim sighed as the two rounded the corner.

Before either Bonnie or Tara could say anything their jaws dropped at the sling Ron was wearing, and the adorable giggling baby in it. "All that means to me it that I'll have made the same offer for an eighth time."

"And it'll be turned down for the eighth time, you know your parents don't want you taking care of them like that." Kim retorted.

"I know, I just..." Ron stopped as he suddenly realized who was before them, "Oh hey Bonbon, Tara! How are you lovely ladies doing today?" The three reactions to this was a jealous glare from Kim, a smirk from Bonnie, and a giggly blush from Tara.

"We're good," Tara said a she fought off her blush and began tickling her chin, "Who is this little cutie?" Hana giggled happily as she grabbed Tara's finger, only for her to wince at the grip of the little girl.

"She's my little sister Hana," Ron said as he made her let Tara go, "Easy Imoto, don't hurt Tara, she's delicate." Seeing the slight discoloring of Tara's fingers he pulled her hand in and gave it a little kiss, then lowered it so Hana could do the same. "There we go, all better." Ron turned away just before he could see Tara turn into a strawberry with blonde hair.

"So this is the infamous little terror that you've been talking about." Bonnie said as she booped the little girl on the nose, doing her best to avoid the same mistake that Tara had made. "Why did you call her 'Imoto'?"

"It means 'Little sister' in Japanese," Ron said as he handed her to Kim while he pulled out her favorite stuffed cat doll, "We wanted her to have something from her homeland to stay with her. Heritage is important, no matter where you are."

"Neko!" Hana chirped happily as she grabbed the doll, the three girls cooing happily as Ron took her back.

Tara gently took the cat and began to make it dance as she asked, "Not that I don't think she's adorable but why is she here?"

"My parents' boss is a dick and likes to spring crap like a four day business trip to cover his ass a day and a half before they need to leave." Ron growled in irritation. Hana giggled and was about to say something when Ron covered her mouth, "Don't even think about it missy." She just blew a raspberry and went back to watching the dancing kitty.

*Later*

Ron was handling Hana pretty well so far, though that also had a lot to do with her being such a sweetie. During most of the day Ron was listening to the lecture of what ever teacher while keeping an eye on Hana, who Rufus was happily keeping busy with the cat doll. The few times he wasn't he was busy giving her her bottle, slinking off to changer her in the restroom, and more than once leaning back on his chair and letting her take a nap on his chest. Every girl in class would coo in when nap time came around, and every girl growled in irritation.

A few times the teachers would offer to watch her for him though the only time he excepted was the class Barkin was watching over, and even then only because of the pop quiz that he had planned. Barkin was a cupcake with Hana under his care though he had to watch carefully about reaching for her, lest he suffer the wrath of the guard naked mole rat. Rufus to his job very seriously apparently.

Soon enough it was time for gym class. Due to having Hana, Ron was allowed to take her to play in the corner. "You ready for the ball Hana?" Ron asked as he gently tossed her a dodgeball. The little girl giggled happily as she caught the ball, throwing it back will all her might and knocking Ron off his feet. "Good arm..." he said as he laid splayed on the floor, Hana only clapped her hands.

"Check out the loser," Jake snarled under his breath as he and his friends watched Ron jump back to his feet and begin tickling his sister, "Who does he think he is, playing daddy to try and get all the girls attention."

"Can't say he's trying all that hard," Gary laughed as he watched the dufus fall over at the little girl's 'attack', "Come on man, you need to let it go, in a few days he'll be old news."

"You've been saying that for the last three weeks," Jake grumbled, "Aren't you the least bit upset that he's hogging all the hotties?"

"Not really," Gary shrugged as the teams set up for their game of dodgeball, "I've got my girl, I'm a senor, and if I want to get into a good college I can't get distracted. You really should be taking notes dude, Stoppable is getting his shit together. What have you been doing?"

Jake grumbled to himself again but complied with his friend, but he was far from letting this go. Unlike Bonnie, who has set up and strictly enforced the food chain, Jake hadn't abandoned it on a whim. He had been so close to the top of that chain and now that Brick was gone he was going to be the peek of teenagedom come hell or high water.

"Neko neko neko, see the dancing kitty!" Ron happily sang as Rufus and the cat doll danced for Hana's amusement. Though he wasn't really paying all that much attention to the boys Ron was acutely aware of their presence, most pointedly Jake and Chris. Both boys were conniving popularity hungry psychos.

Senses flaring Ron suddenly spun around and punched the incoming ball, sending it back with enough force to knock down five of the guys in it's path. The air in the gym was suddenly far to heavy. Ron, with a cheery smile and an aura of barely contained rage, stepped forward and said, "My little sister is here, you need to be careful."

Hana, who had no idea what was going on, tapped Ron's leg. "Aniki?"

Turning again Ron scooped her up, "Awe it's okay Imoto. Let's go outside and get some sun." Shooting up a glare and the crowd parted. As he walked past Jake attempted smart something off but was stopped by another glare from Ron, unlike the last one though there was almost a physical force behind this one that made him drop to his knees.

The cheerleaders were distracted from practice by the little ball of energy that was happily chasing the mascot. Some were stunned by how fast she was, others couldn't stop gushing at how adorable it was to see her catch him and then getting smothered in affection.

"Ok, that is way to cute," Tara said as she held her cheeks, trying hard to suppress her blush. She failed of course but she did try. Hana found herself on Ron's back and was giggling happily as he ran around. "To bad we only have her for a few days, it would be so cute to see her in a little cheerleader uniform with a guard dog."

Kim blushed and laughed nervously as she pulled a bag out of her bag. "I uh... I was kinda thinking the same thing," she said.

More giggling was heard as Ron began circling the group as Hana hung on for dear life. Bonnie watched for a moment before snatching the girl off his back. "Hi there cutie," she said as she playfully booped her nose, "you wanna play dress up?" Hana's only reaction was to happily reach for the bag. Ten minutes later found eight teenage girls holding cameras as a little girl was dancing around in a little cheer outfit with the Mad Dog doing his usual bit with her.

"How long is she going to be with him?" Bonnie asked calmly.

"Just today and Monday," Kim said, just as calmly.

"That's not going to be long enough," Tara finished, same level of calm as the other two, "she's just too cute to not have her around."

"Agreed," both Kim and Bonnie said as the other cheerleaders began to play with Hana.
