"Ow!" A yelp disrupted the lives of students. A thump from the ground as people looked over at the sound. It was a girl with earthy green hair shoved by a boy with orange hair.
"What'd you do that for?!" She asked quietly, yet angrily.
"Don't act all innocent, y'hear? You know what you did, homie!" He said, turning choleric.
"I don't know what you're talking about! Pleasure me, and leave me alone." She asked kindly, which only made the boy more and madder.
This girl was Yume Yuki, an 11 almost 12-year-old girl who comes from a kind family. She was wearing a colorful, and vivid white dress with black shorts and some normal shoes.
The boy was a well-known bully, mostly for picking on Yuki and her friends, named Tanju Ken. He had sunny orange hair with red eyes and a slightly messed up nose.
"You *stole* my ball, yo!" She said angrily. He was on the basketball team and was currently wearing his uniform.
She shook her head. "I'm not interested in basketball, Ken. You know that- ah!" Ken kicked her again. This made her angry. She hates fighting, but she kicked his leg, hard, so he tripped and fell on the floor.
She stood up angrily and stormed away from the scene. She made her way to the courtyard and sat there, ruminating. She was pulled out of her thoughts by a hand on her shoulder.
She looked up and saw a boy, wearing a striped tee, some dark jeans, and some slip-on-shoes. This was her brother Yume Kojo. He was almost a year older.
"Yuki, you okay? I saw Ken being a prick to you and I gave him a piece of my mind." He reassured, and Yuki chuckled. Kojo loved to make anyone laugh.
"All fine, Kojo. Thanks! Hey, is your dance practice over?" Yuki asked him and he nodded and made a thumbs-up. That's right, her brother absolutely ADORED dancing.
Once, when he was younger, he saw a dancer on T.V and absolutely fell in love with it. A few years later, he persuaded their mom to let him take classes.
"Yep! Now come on, let's head back home. I've got a cool thing I wanna show you." He said and Yuki stood up.
"YUKI, KOJO!!" A boy and girl ran up to them. These were twins Tenshi and Jiyu, both having red hair.
"Yeah?" Kojo deadpanned.
"Can we walk with you?" Tenshi asked exasperatedly and Yuki laughed. These two were our neighbors and best friends, so they were going to anyway, but they constantly love making a big deal out of it.
"Yeah, I guess." Yuki smiled and they cheered. Thus, with their bags on hand (or backs), they left for home.
They turned to Kyami Street and waved goodbye to Tenshi and Jiyu. They went into the house next to the twins. The house was empty, as is usual.
Yuki bolted into her room and jumped on the bed. She paused and looked around at the room she knew all too well.
The walls were a bright yellow, making the illusion of daylight. There was a dresser or two filled with clothes.
A pile of stuffed animals were made neatly around a window. She noticed one, however that she didn't recognize having. It was a big yellowish green egg with dark greens splotches all over it.
The egg radiated warm energy as Yuki picked it up. It was hard, like an actual egg, so it wasn't stuffed.
"Is this... supposed to be a prank from Kojo?" She grabbed it and entered her brothers room. She gasped when she saw that he had one.
It was a bright pink color with red hearts and greed things on it that resemble thorns on it. She sat down next to him.
"So... you didn't place this in my room?" Yuki asks and he laughed.
"Why would I have one myself?" He asked.
"Fair point."
Yuki looks down at her egg. A blast of realization appeared on her face.
"Kojo, you remember digimon?"
"Digimon? You mean that anime?" He asked with a confused look.
"Yeah! These eggs look exactly like the Digieggs that Digimon hatch from!" Yuki said excitedly and he chuckled.
"But Digimon aren't real, Yuki."
"I know..." Yuki looked down dejectedly.
"Huh?" A wiggle from her egg Interrupted her thoughts. Kojo's egg wiggled as well.
"What the heck?" Kojo wonders aloud. Yuki rubs the egg and it wiggles more. It rolled off their laps and landed on the floor in front of them.
"Are these actually?" Yuki gasps as the two eggs begin to shine. Yuki's shone green while Kojo's shone Red.
They were so bright that they had to close their eyes. When they open them, they couldn't believe their eyes. There were creatures sitting on the bottom of the eggs, which Yuki and Kojo realized what they were right away.
On the bottom of Yuki's digiegg, there was a blue creature on the bottom of it. It's whole body is covered in a substance with the appearance of long, soft hair.
On the bottom of Kojo's digiegg,there was a black, seed looking creature with two green, leaf like protrusions coming out of it's head, and big, round yellow eyes.
Yuki's creature started floating up, so she held it in her hands. "So cute!"
"These ARE Digimon! No way. So this is black thing is a Nyokimon and yours is..." Kojo said with a shocked expression.
"Yuramon. They tend to float away to find someplace to Digivolve." Yuki said with an amazed look.
"But I thought Digimon was just an anime! They're actually real?" He picked up Nyokimon and touched it, which made the baby Digimon laugh.
"This is so cool! Wait, we can't let anyone find out about this. They can tell other people or get freaked out." Yuki said, stroking Yuramon, who blinked at her.
"Kids! We are back! Come get the groceries!" Mom, or Kinben, yelled from downstairs.
"COMING MOM!" Kojo placed Nyokimon and Yuramon in a small drawer.
"We'll be right back, okay?" Yuki said sweetly, and Yuramon blinked in acknowledgment.
The kids rushed to get done helping their mother, took an apple and ran back to the room. They took the baby Digimon out of the drawer and placed them on the ground, except for Yuramon.
They fed the Digimon an apple slice and they suddenly began to glow. Nyokimon in a bright red light while Yuramon in a soft blue.
"Nyokimon digivolve to..."
The small seed changed shape and came out differently than what they were expecting, but they still recognized. Sitting in front of them was a Digimon that resembles a green ball with yellow eyes and a mouth, multiple pink spikes coming from its head/body, and a leaf for a tail. It has a fang on the left side of its mouth.
"...Budmon!" The Digimon said in a voice fit for an excited four-year-old.
"Yuramon digivolve to..."
Yuramon began to change shape into something they knew very well. The Digimonis a bulb-like Digimon. It has something that looks like a plant sprout burgeoning from its head.It has dark red eyes and a beige white front body.
"...Tanemon!" The plant said, sounding like a five-year-old girl.
Yuki and Kojo looked in astonishment as they looked at the Digimon. Tanemon's eyes softened with worry.
"D-Did we scare you? Oh~ I'm sorry." Tanemon apologized while Yuki reassured her.
Budmon hoped into Kojo's palms and looked at him happily. It was rare for Nyokimon to Digivolve into Budmon, so he examined his partner a bit before smiling and talking with the Digimon.
And that's how the day went. The kids tought the Digimon everything they knew and the Digimon listened carefully. They gathered every piece of information they could.
Eventually, it was time for bed. Yuki snook Tanemon into her room and changed into her pajamas while the Digimon was wandering around. Yuki climbed into bed while Tanemon rested on the window sill. Yuki layed her head on the pillow and found a divice under it.
It was a dark grassy green. It looked like the D-3 and D-Power combined.
She smiled and put it to the side. "I'll mess around with it tomorrow." She thought as she had one final look at Tanemon, and then fell asleep.
Yuki awoke to a growling sound coming from the window. She looked over at the time. 5:30. Early. She looked over at the sound and saw Tanemon standing there, on high alert.
"Tanemon?" Yuki asked, walking over to the Digimon
"Outside, outside! There's a Digimon outside. Bad, Bad!" Tanemon said anxiously.
"What do you mean?" Yuki asked. She opened the window for a better lookand Tanemon hopped out. Luckily it was a first story window, but it almost gave Yuki a heart attack.
"Tanemon!" She saw a frantic Budmon hopping behind Tanemon.
She grabbed her Digivice, climbed out the window along with Kojo, and they ran after their friends. They followed the Digimon to a clearing far out in the woods.
They finally caught up with the Digimon and looked ahead infront was a Digimon. Kojo read the information on his Digivice.
"Solarmon, a rookie level, machine type Digimon. It's attacks are Solar Flare and Machine Attack." He looked up and at the picture.
"Somethings different. Look, its eyes are black!" Kojo pointed and he was right! Solarmon's eyes were a shadowy black.
"Solar Flare!" A gear detached from Solarmon and cought fire. It went straight towards Yuki and Kojo.
"POISONOUS BARBS!" The spikes on Budmon detached and hit the gear, which flew away from them and to the sky
"Woah!" Kojo marveled at his partner.
"Acid Bubbles!" Tanemon blew some purple bubbles that hit Solarmons eyes, rendering him blind. That's when it hit Yuki noticed something strange.
"Ah! Look at that thing on his gear! I think that's what's making him mad." Yuki pointed at a red band around the gear. Unfortunately, they didn't get to do anything because the Digimon flew back infront of them.
"Tanemon!" Yuki called out.
"Solar Flare!" Solarmon sent another fire gear their way. They were trapped. The Digimon cant fight, and they dont have power to block it.
They close their eyes and hear a voice, actually two.
"Bubbles!" They look up and the Flare is gone. They look behind and perform a imaginary spittake. It was Tenshi and Jiyu!
Along with them are two Digimon. The one in front of Tenshi is a Digimon with a yellow cat's head with pointed ears, big violet eyes, and a little tail with purple stripes on it.
The one in front of Jiyu is a tiny, white, toothy animal with two wiggly antennae.
"What the heck?!" Kojo wonders aloud as he climbs up to them, then helps Yuki up.
Tanemon and Budmon suddenly hopped out of the siblings grasps and land next to the other Digimon. Suddenly, all four Digivices glow a different color. Yuki's glew a grassy green, Kojo's a bloody red, Jiyu's a cloudy white, and Tenshi a sunset gold.
The Digimon glew again and started to Digivolve.
"Tanemon, digivolve to..."
The Digimon in front of Yuki is a green, bipedal, mandrake-like Digimon with a tail and small bumps lining its back. It has large, root-like feet and foliage-like hands. Each hand has three purple-tipped vines that act like fingers. The top of its head is adorned with a pink and yellow flower with a long, yellow stamen with a red tip.
"...Palmon!" Now sounds like a ten year old girl with a slightly raspy voice.
"Budmon, digivolve to...
The Digimon front of Kojo has the appearance of a flowering bud with a green body with stretchy arms and legs, and a pink head with a yellow leaf on the top of it, and a pair of eyes and a mouth which resemble three black dots. It flies by lightly spinning its leaf.
"...Lalamon!" Lalamon sounds like a 9 year old boy now.
"Tokomon, digivolve to...
The Digimon infront of Jiyu is a is a small flying creature resembling aguinea pig(Cavia porcellus if you wanna be technical) with light blue eyes, bat-like wings which could possibly be its ears, and a short, stubby tail. Its underside is a light cream color, while its back and head are orange.
"...Patamon!" Patamon sounded like Lalamon, but a tiny bit deeper.
"Nyaromon, digivolve to..."
And finally, the one infront of Tenshi is a Plott Hound like thing with white fur and big rosy cheeks and blue eyes. It carries aa gold ringon its neck, as if it were a dog collar.
"...Salamon!" Salmon sounded like a 9 year old girl.
The kids couldn't believe what they were seeing. 4 digimon right in front of them! Solarmon looked surprised as well, not expecting the sudden change.
Yuki pulled put her Digivice to examine the Digimon.
"Palmon, a rookie level plant type Digimon. Her attacks are Poison Ivy, Plant Shock, and Root Breaker."
Kojo pulled his out.
"Lalamon, a rookie level, plant type Digimon. His attacks are Seed Blast, Lala Spiral, Lullaby, and Nut Gun."
Jiyu tapped hers and it came up.
"Woah, okay. Patamon, a rookie level, mammal type Digimon. His attacks are Boom Bubble, Wing Slap and Aero Slash."
Tenshi held his towards Salamon.
"Salamon, a rookie level, mammal type Digimon. Her attacks are Holy Roar, Holy Shoot and Happy Paw."
"Solar Flare!" Solarmon fired four separate gears at the digimon, so each one took their own.
"Poison Ivy!" Palmon wraps its vines around the flaming gear and throws it away.
"Nut Gun! Phew!" Lalamon said as he stored some energy and fires rock hard nut shells, complete shattering the gear.
"Boom Bubble! Pow!" Patamon took a deep breath, then a air bubble came rushing out and deflecting the attack, making both attacks hit Solarmon hard.
"Happy Paw!" Salamons collar glew along with her paws, and a beam of light hit the gear, shattering it.
"Go, Salamon!" Tenshi cheered.
"Poison Ivy!"
"Seed Blast!"
"Aero Slash!"
"Holy Shoot!"
All the Digimon combined their attacks, focusing on the red thing on the gear and it shattered. Solarmon's eyes returned to being a red color and Yuki went down to check on it, despite being told not to.
Solarmon looked confused and Yuki calmed it down.
"Did I... oh golly! I'm so sorry! I have to be going now, goodbye!" He apologized, made a noise, and a portal sucked him in.
"That was AWESOME!" Kojo and Tenshi yelled and highfived, while the girls looked dazed.
"Let's meet up here tomorrow. I wanna talk with you all." Yuki said, and the siblings nodded.
"Palmon! You did awesome!" Yuki kneeled down and highfived her, causing Palmon to blush.
"Budmon- no. Lalamon! You were so cool! That Nut Gun was awesome!" Kojo held Lalamon up high, and Lalamon loved the praise he was getting.
"Patamon, your the best!" Jiyu cheered and Patamon flew around her excitedly.
"I've always wanted a dog, but your so much better, Salamon!" Tenshi grinned, and Salamon barked.
They waved goodbye and went back into their houses, preparing for the rest of the day.
