Being a robot provided one with many abilities, often including access to the internet without any external devices. This was one of Omega's abilities, one he was becoming quite fond of. He had access to GUN's databases during missions, and he could use it during down time.

Omega had come across a song that was particularly popular on the internet. He had found a real life use for it, as well. The team was still recovering from a tough mission. It had left Shadow out cold for days, Omega had nearly had his core processor ripped out, and Rouge had broken her leg. They wouldn't be back in the field for a while.

'Rouge? Shadow?' He said in the group chat they had created.

'What's up?' Rouge replied.

'As you know, our most recent mission was a very close call. In part due to my recklessness.' Omega texted.

'Don't blame yourself, Omega. Nothing good will come out of it.' Shadow replied.

'I want to clarify how much I appreciate your presences. Words are not my strong suite, so I have found an online video to express my feelings.' Omega said.

'That's sweet of you, Megs!' Rouge texted, accompanied by an emoji of a face surrounded by swirling heart.

'Do not call me Megs.'

'What's the video, then?' Shadow asked. Omega copied and pasted the link.

Twenty seconds later, Rouge posted a series of texts in the group chat.

'yeah i deserve that'

'love ya too buddy'

Omega was confused by Rouge's response, but she did at least seem happy.

A few minutes later, Shadow also replied.

'That's incredibly kind and thoughtful of you, Omega. It's a very catchy song as well. To tell the truth… I had been having doubts on whether or not our team really ought to stay together. I questioned if it was worth the risks we all faced, as a result of working together and protecting each other. I had been wondering if we would all be safer working on our lonesome… but this reminded me of why we do work together. Even if it's something I'm usually uncomfortable saying, I can't deny it. We never give up on each other, because we're friends.'

A bubble indicating Rouge was typing popped up briefly, then disappeared. Then Omega got a text from Rouge between the two of them, not involving Shadow.

'Of all the things to get him to talk about his emotions omg'

'Do. Not. Tell. Shadow. He's never opened up like that before, I don't want to ruin the moment for him'

'Do not tell him what?' Omega replied.

'Bless your hearts. Both of you.' Was all Rouge replied.

Omega didn't understand, so he decided to relax, while listening to the song again. He decided to sing along to the lyrics.
