Iruka Umino, teacher at the Ninja Academy, feels like the world cannot become more unfair than it already is. The Chuunin Exams are taking place and not only he has to do the paperwork, but he was assigned a task, one that is actually classified, so only the ANBU members know what it's really about, and let's not forget that his students are participating in the Exams. I wonder how Naruto's doing. He thinks as he hears suddenly movement. The man turns only to see an ANBU member standing there. The masked man nods to him and Iruka knows that he will finally find out what his secret assignment is.

He gets shunshined to a building, located in the forest, not far from the Gates. Iruka looks around trying to pinpoint the exact location, but the masked man begins walking and he must hurry to catch up. As they enter the building they go through several gates and after all that they get on a hall. The hall is empty and dark, it looks creepy and Iruka gets closer to the ANBU member, not wanting to be left there. After a while they get to a door, R101 Iruka reads. The ANBU member turns and shunshines away, leaving Iruka standing there. Why couldn't the Sandaime leave all of this for the ANBU? Or for somebody more used to this kind of secrecy? A Jounin maybe. He thinks, but at the same time he knows the answer: all the ANBU members and Jounins must be in the village, making sure the Sandaime was alright and no attack was directed at him.

Standing in front of the door of room 101 Iruka braces himself and touches the door handle. Now or never. He pushes the door open and freezes.

Looking inside the room he sees four children, if he tries to guess none of them is older than thirteen years of age. Watching the children, he begins analyzing them quickly. On the couch – which is placed in the center of the room – he sees two boys, one with brown hair, black eyes, brown jacket on black shirt, black cargo pants and black footwear, he observes that the boy has his hitai ate wrapped on his left upper arm and that on his red sash was painted a white symbol, The Sarutobi Clan? Iruka questions. Next to the brown-haired boy the other boy looks relaxed and has a lazy gleam in his eyes, he has silver hair and white eyes, he wears a black hoodie and black shorts, his right leg is covered in bandages, his hitai ate is on his forehead and he has fingerless gloves, both of them having a symbol painted on them with white. I wonder what that symbol means. Iruka thinks as he remarks that the third boy is leaning to the wall, watching him.

The boy looks older and he is taller than the other two, his eyes are not focused completely, he watches Iruka's feet, but at the same time he looks like he's analyzing the man. Iruka watches the boy and remarks clear resemblance between him and the latter boy. This older boy has silver hair as well, his eyes look dark, but Iruka can't see their color, he wears a black, slim-fit t-shirt and his arms are covered in bandages, on his left hand he has a grey hand protector, which looks suspiciously like the ones the ANBU uses in their regular uniform. The boy wears black pants, which end in bandages and black footwear, he has his hitai ate on his forehead and he has a white fabric sewed on his left arm's black sleeve, the fabric has the same symbol like the other boy, but in red and on the sleeve's end it has red triangles.

Iruka stops at the sight of the girl. Purple hair, dark brown eyes, tanned skin and so familiar. She wears a dark purple jacket, which barely reveals anything under it, she has grey pants and black footwear. Her hitai ate is on her neck. She smiles at Iruka and turns to show his something on his back. Iruka looks at her curiously then he just stares. He sees on the girl's jacket the Umino Clan's symbol.

"Hi, dad from another dimension." she turns back and waves smiling.

Iruka almost faints. He is sure that his heart stopped for a moment. His mind begins racing with numerous thoughts. What was the Sandaime thinking? Why does that girl wear his clan's symbol? Who are those children?

"Please don't faint, Iruka-sensei." the younger gray haired boy stands up and holds up his hands, it's a sign that shows that the boy doesn't want to harm the man, and that the boy is ready to jump if the man faints.

"Take big breaths and just calm down, okay?" the brown haired boy smiles, but worry shows clearly on his face and he stands up as well, getting closer to the man. They look like they care.

"Who are you?" Iruka blurts out, the children look at each other and then the older gray haired boy nods. So, he's the leader.

"Name's Adohira Sarutobi." the brown haired boy says still smiling and proud. "And those are my teammates, the sulky looking one, Kiyoshi Hatake and the girl, Takumi Umino. The other kid is Kiyoshi's younger brother, Karasu Hatake." he introduces them. "We come from a different dimension." he adds with a sheepish grin.

"Different… dimension?" Iruka blurts out. Is that even poss-did he say Umino?!

"Yup." Karasu smiles. "Apparently somebody" he looks at Adohira. "shouldn't have opened a scroll." he shrugs. "Now we're kind of stuck here, for a while." he pops down on the couch.

Iruka heard about banned scrolls that could transport somebody to the future or the past or even different dimensions, he did not think though that they might actually work.

"Who are your parents?" he asks slowly, trying to hide his voice's shakiness.

"Does my brother exist in this dimension?" Adohira asks. "Konohamaru?" he asks as he sits down next to Karasu.

"Yes." Iruka says and Adohira nods.

"Then the same as he has." he shrugs.

"I have you as my dad." Takumi starts. Oh, Kami… "Well not you, you, but other you…" She sighs. "This is hard! Oh, and mom's name is Anko Mitarashi." she smiles and Iruka almost chokes. He and Anko?! What?! He knows her, respects her, but he has never thought about her that way, well apparently he did in that presumed other dimension.

"Mother doesn't exist here and Kakashi Hatake." says Kiyashi and Karasu nods. What?!

He leans to the door, too shocked to care how vulnerable he looks in that moment. Kakashi?! He looks at the boys again, but he has no idea if they are telling the truth, Kakashi has never showed his face, well, not to him at least. Looking at the boys he begins wondering just how much they really resemble their presumed father and if Kakashi looks like that under that famous mask of his.

That is when the ground began shaking…

Hello everybody!

This is my first Naruto fanfiction. I'm currently watching Naruto again (the original, never watched Shippuden, but planning to) so, I can't really promise that this story will be 100% accurate to the anime. So, if I make some mistakes (idk, like I use the wrong Japanese words, things like that) please tell me. Oh, and please tell me if I have English grammatical errors (not my native language).

Now back to the story:

Italic - is for thoughts *only the adults have thoughts in this story* (you may ask why, but well, it's because I'll mostly center around the children, my OC characters, but hey others will appear as well, don't worry)

My favorite character is Kakashi, so, that means that I'll tend to center around him. I'll try my best to center around other characters as well. If it becomes too OC just tell me, I gladly accept reviews and opinions.

I've never written a fanfiction in present tense, this is all new to me, so Kami please help me...

I don't know how often I'll post, college takes away most of my time, but I'll try my best.
