The T-Birds were at their usual spot at Frosty Palace talking about their next rumble with their Rivals Leo and The Scorpions. "But what if they don't show up?" Doody asked.
"Then we'll celebrate." Sonny replied.
The boys laughed, Kenickie noticed Putzie wasn't eating his frosty.
"A certain adorable Babyface is not eating his favorite dessert." Kenickie says.
Putzie looks up at the guys.
"Huh?" Putzie asked.
"Hey, you ok kiddo?" Danny asked.
"Yeah, just...I don't know." Putzie said. "If you fellas don't mind, I rather not talk about it." He added.
"Come on brother, let's go outside Kay." Danny said.
"No I'll go." Kenickie suggested. "What ya say Putz?"
"Fine with me." Putzie shrugged.
Both boys got up and walked outside.
"Alright Babyface, what's up?" Kenickie asked him.
"It's...Pammy." Putzie started.
"Is she ok?" Kenickie asked worried.
"Yes...I told her Grandma was in the hospital still and she thought she was gonna come back home...but she um...she didn't make it." Putzie said.
"Y-your grandmother died?" Kenickie asked.
Putzie nods his head.
"This morning." Putzie told him. "Me, Phil and my folks don't know how to explain it to her, I mean she's only 5 years old."
"Look man, I know what you're going through...remember when my old man's grandfather, my great-grandfather...Katelyn and I loved the man." Kenickie told him. "But I was too young to understand and Katelyn had a long talk with me where he is in heaven."
"But everyone knows I hate seeing a small innocent child cry." Putzie says. "My folks and Phil tried a little, but she still thinks she is at the hospital and Phil said that I have to tell her." Putzie added. "My folks are making arrangement for the funeral and Phil is too busy with college life, and I don't even know where to start!" He let out a sigh.
"Ok buddy, Babyface look I know you're upset...but I think they want you to tell her because she is the closest to you." Kenickie told him.
"Why me?" Putzie asked.
"Cause you're a great big brother." Kenickie told him. "How about I come with you?" He offered.
"You would?" Putzie asked. "Wow, thanks Kenicks."
"Hey, anything for my little brother." Kenickie smiled.
Kenickie prefer to sees Putzie as his real baby brother.
A little bit later, Kenickie was talking on the phone with Danny at Putzie's house.
"Yes Pammy was shocked." Kenickie said.
"What about Putzie, how did he handle it?" Danny asked him.
"It was tough, but he told her." Kenickie says. "So Putzie's been cuddling Pammy in his arms for awhile now."
"Aw those poor kiddos." Danny said.
"Yeah, I'll talk to ya later. I promise Putzie the three of us will eat ice cream." Kenickie said chuckling.
"Of course." Danny laughed.
They laughed.
"Hey they adored me." Kenickie smirked.
"Yeah whatever, see ya man." Danny laughed as he hung up.
Kenickie put the phone down and went in the living room to see Putzie and Pammy still sleeping. He smiled warmly and went in the kitchen to make ice cream for him, Putzie and Pammy.
