Thanks to popular demand there is a sequel and a Lilo love interest. I wasn't sure who I wanted her with. I couldn't think of anyone, but I was watching T.V. to clear my head and the perfect character came to mind. He's not an OC, but I'm not sure how many of you will recognize him. I'll post their love story separately when he's revealed. So here's the sequel, it's not as long as the original, but once you read it you'll understand why. Romance is not the main point so don't go reaching for it.

36 Hours Till Cotillion

~Auradon Prep~

King Ben of Auradon, dressed in his usual blue and yellow suit, is walking with Fairy Godmother, eating an apple, when he first sees them. Blond Mal surrounded by reports. 'Oh no! Mal!' "Fairy Godmother? If you would be kind enough to help me?" She looks in the direction he is.

"Oh the poor dear. Yes of course."

They hurry over to her rescue and get separated.

Reporter, "Is your mother still a lizard?"

Ben interrupts, "Okay. All right. Excuse me." He wraps his arm around Mal's waist. "Uh, we will let you know if and when that particular situation changes."

Reporter 2, "Did you ever think you'd be with a Villain Kid?" Ben chuckles softly and leans towards the nearest microphone.

"We're done here."

Fairy Godmother finally gets through the crowd. "Okay. Shush, shush. This is still a school, so you're either skipping, or trespassing." She then proceeds to shush and shoo away the reporters. She turns to the couple, "Mal. Ben." And leaves.

Mal and Ben both say, "Thank you, Fairy Godmother."

Mal then releases a breath. "Whew." Ben waves a hand in the direction of the reporters.

"Don't pay any attention to them." Mal laughs uneasily.

"Well, that's a lot easier said than done, right?"

"I know. I know." He sighs. "You know, maybe we should do something. We should go somewhere. Get away."

Mal is ecstatic. "Yeah. Sure!"

"You know, what do-" His watch goes off. "I have a council meeting. I'm so late! Lilo's going to kill me."

Mal's disappointed, but you can see her smile at the idea of Lilo being disapproving. "That's okay. Say hi to her for me please?"

"Of course." He kisses her forehead. "We'll- We'll do it sometime. Uh…" Evie comes up from behind and starts tugging at Mal.

"If we don't do a fitting for your gown right this minute, you'll be dancing in your bathrobe, okay?" She looks at Ben. "Hi Ben." She starts pulling Mal away. "Let's go. Let's go."

Mal waves. "Bye, Ben."

"Bye." He looks at his watch. 'If I leave now. I can make it before Lilo starts glaring.'

Reporters surround him. "King Ben! King Ben! King Ben!"

"Uh…" 'Dang it!'

~Later~

17 year old Lilo, wearing a crimson red and gold ¾ sleeved shirt, black dress pants, sandals, and wearing her charm bracelet, is walking down the stairs to the grounds when she spots the VK's coming her way and waves. "Aloha guys!" They see her and come towards her.

"Aloha Lilo." Evie hugs her.

"Sup Lilo!" Jay fist bumps her.

"What's up, girl." Carlos high-fives her.

Mal gives her a smile. "Hey Lilo. How was the meeting?"

Lilo groans and they laugh. "It was so dull. The old people just kept talking on and on about Cotillion. I get that it's important! Doesn't mean it hasn't been talked to death."

Carlos snaps his fingers. "Lilo! Perfect, you're a normal girl!"

Mal and Evie exclaim, "Hey!"

"How would you like to be asked out?" Lilo raises a brow at him.

"Is this about asking Jane to Cotillion?" This gets a blush from Carlos and a laugh from the others. "Carlos, just ask her. Don't make it complicated and just go for it! It's that simple. Worst thing happens is she says no, which I really doubt she will."

Carlos takes in a deep breath and nods. "You're right. Alright I'll try." Evie steps up.

"So who are you going with Lilo?" Lilo smiles and starts walking away.

"My boyfriend's taking me!" The VK's look at each other and rush to catch up with her.

Jay gets in front of her to stop her. "Since when do you have a boyfriend? Why are we just hearing about this? Is someone making you say this?" Lilo starts laughing as the others surround her.

"No! No. My boyfriend lives in California. We've been dating for awhile."

Mal asks, "Why haven't we seen him?"

"Well, when the Coronation took place he was stopping an alien invasion, he had a family crisis involving Anodites during Family Day, and he lives too far away to visit on weekends." She looks at her phone, when Jane appears. "Sorry guys I've got to go. I have some stuff I need to grab before I meet up with Ben. I'll see you later! Aloha!" She waves as she runs off.

~Ben's Office~

Lilo sighs in relief as she signs the last document with a flourish. "That's everything on the agenda. Now Ben," She turns to him. "I want to discuss who we should next bring over from the Isle of the Lost. I would also like to talk about the rehabilitation program for the Isle."

Ben nods distractedly. "Yeah sure. We can discuss that after my lunch with Mal." He gets up to leave the room.

"But Ben we need to talk about this soon or we won't have time to make improvements to their living conditions. Ben!"

"I know Lilo, but this is the first time in awhile that Mal and I are getting some time alone and I don't want to waste it. Please? What if it was you and Tennyson?" Lilo pouts.

"I hate when you play that card." Ben gives her the puppy dog eyes. "Fine." Ben cheers and heads for the door. "Tell Mal I would like to talk to her!" Ben closes the door. "Ben!" Lilo huffs. "Knowing his head these days, I'll have to find her myself." She gets up, grabs her notebook with the list of names from the Isle of the Lost and sets off to her dorm to call her boyfriend.

~Lilo's Dorm~

Lilo sets her computer to call as she puts away some of her things and hears it ring.

The screen comes to life. "Hello?"

Lilo turns to the screen and sees her boyfriend on the screen giving her a bright smile as he sees her face, which she returns.

"Hello beautiful Island Girl. How's my favorite advisor today?"

"She's doing fine. She misses her Alien Hero." She bats her eyelashes at him before laughing.

He pouts. "I'm sorry. I've been so swamped lately. Between Albedo, Vilgax, Jimmy Jones exposing me, and school I've been struggling, but I made sure I had time to get a tux and that I was free to take you to Cotillion."

"I'm looking forward to it. So, what's up with this Jimmy kid?"

~Dorm Hallway~

Lilo is walking out of her dorm when she spots Mal running to her room crying.

"Mal?" Mal runs faster and slams the door. Lilo starts knocking. "Mal? Are you okay? Mal! Mal!" Lilo starts pounding on the door. "If you don't let me in I'll scream and get everyone running over here!" 'I wonder if that worked.' She then hears a click.

Mal finally opens the door with red-eyes and tear stains on her face. Lilo softens and opens her arms. Mal runs right into them sobbing.

"It'll be okay. Whatever is wrong, we will get through this. I promise."

Mal chokes out. "I can't do this anymore Lilo." Sob "I'm not the pretty pink princess I've tried to convince everyone I was. I can't keep up anymore."

Lilo rubs her back. "I'm sorry that we made you think you needed to be someone you're not Mal. When you went blond and dressed differently I thought you wanted to do it, not because of peer pressure." She hugs Mal tighter. "You don't have to change for us. I want you to know that." Mal settles down at last. Lilo can see she doesn't truly believe that, but let's go for now. 'Ben needs to talk to her.'

"Thanks Lilo."

"Of course." She lets go of Mal. "I was actually on my way to ask you a favor."

"Sure." Sniffle. "What is it?" Lilo wrings her hands.

"I'm looking into who to next bring over from the Isle, and I was hoping for your help in choosing who would be a good choice." She pulls out her notebook. "I have some listed: Dizzy Tremaine is a must this time, I thought about Harry Hook-"

Mal interrupts. "You'll never get him to leave the Isle without Uma." Lilo tilts her head.

"Who's Uma? I don't think I have her in my files. Who's her parent?"

"Ursula. Uma's probably in charge of the Isle with me here." Mal laughs softly. "You and Ben kinda chose the kids in charge as your guinea pigs." Lilo contemplates that.

"Then maybe I should meet her." Mal double-takes.

"What?"

"Maybe I should meet this Uma. Between you and her I can do a better job of getting kids out of there and helping restore the Isle at the same time." She writes down Uma's name with a question mark. 'This could work, but I can't go alone. Stitch is too far away and so is my boyfriend.' Lilo looks up at Mal. 'Duh! I can ask Mal! I'm not going to force her, just ask her.' "Hey Mal do you think you could take me to the Isle of the Lost and show me around?"

Mal sits there in shock, then she nods slowly.

"Great! I just need to call Stitch so he knows I may not be here when he arrives later, but that's okay. He can hang out with the King." Mal grabs her arm before she leaves.

"I'm taking you, but you can't go dressed like that. They'll be able to tell you're not from there and something bad may happen to you." Mal goes to her closet. "Give me a minute."

~Edge of Auradon~

"Okay Mal you ready to rumble." says Lilo who is now dressed in a black leather jacket, dark blood red top, black skinny jeans, red sneakers, black and red fingerless gloves and a small black bag with the intergalactic peace symbol on it in green.

Mal takes a deep breath, she's now back in her purple and green leather outfit. She's standing by her purple moped that Ben had given her earlier that day. Lilo doesn't know this, but Mal has all her things packed in the saddle bags. "Let's go." She hands Lilo a helmet and puts on her own as they straddle the bike. "Noble steed, proud and fair, you shall take me anywhere." She puts the book back as Lilo laughs at the spell. "Hold on tight!"

She revs the engine and they go flying over the water all the way to the Isle.

"Whoooo! That was fun!" Lilo says as they get off the bike. "So where to first?"

Mal points to a sign that says Danger: Flying Rocks. She then picks up a rock, hits the sign and a door opens to a gated staircase. "This is the hideout."

"Cool. I like it." They head up the stairs as the gate closes behind them.

~Ben's Office~

Ben is just doing paperwork and thinking about Mal. 'I wonder where it all went wrong? Maybe I should ask Tennyson? I have his phone number somewhere.' His thoughts are interrupted by Evie knocking on his door.

"May I come in?"

He stands with a smile. "Of course. Come in." Evie stands by the door after closing it.

"Mal's gone back to the Isle and Lilo's gone with her." Ben's smile sinks into shock as Evie approaches his desk. "She left a note." He starts reading.

'I just can't take the pressure anymore. I couldn't stay. Lilo came with me to meet with some of the other Isle kids. I'll keep her safe. Send a car to come pick her up in three days. I care about you all. Goodbye.'

Evie then hands Ben his signet ring that he had given Mal so long ago. Ben's speechless for a moment and sits down. He then stands back up again. "This is all my fault. I pushed her. I blew it!" He takes Evie's hands. "I can't lose her Evie! I love her!" He turns to the window. "I have to go after her!"

"You can't go to the Isle Ben! You would get lost or killed within five minutes of being there." They're both silent. "You'll have to take me with you." Ben looks at her.

"I can't ask that of you Evie. I know how hard that life was for you."

Evie lifts a hand for silence. "Yes it was. But if my friends need help, I'm going to be there. Mal and Lilo are my best friends and they need me." She starts heading for the door. "I'm going to grab Carlos and Jay and have them meet us out front." She stops and turns back to Ben. "But first, we need to change your look."
