Writer's note: Hello, all. I am aware this story is dated. This was written well-before Kingdom Hearts 3 was released, and as of today, have not played at all. Ignore the canon on your peril. Please share your thoughts about this piece. I'm curious to see your responses.
Terms:
Galactaverse/Uninaxaly- Weave of interconnected Universes and dimensions in the form of a gigantic spiral galaxy. Each of the "stars" (the individual Universes) have their own unique shapes and pattern to their corresponding physics laws. Some ever-expanding cuboidal-shaped, infinite-dimensional shape (beyond imaginative perception to perceive), or just a flat line. Universe K or Kingdom Hearts Universe, for instance is spherical.

This takes place at a time and space beyond the timeline of Kingdom Hearts. You were familiar with Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance, well...this takes place quadrillion years into the future. Where the concepts of time and reality were only concepts of an ancient relic and long forgotten. Now lies a barren, devastatingly hot Universe. The Kingdom Hearts Universe will be known simply as Universe K. A vast cosmos beginning to fade into nothingness. Black holes form in the void, galaxies slowly crumbling for millions of years, stars and nebulae losing their shapes. Most of all life ceased to exist, but only…and only two advanced races left: Luminarae and UnExist.
At the time of this writing, it shall be noted this is "year" is 238832 of ʐ calendar.
The Luminarae are beings of light, benevolent kind of all shapes and color, living together in perfect harmony. Protecting the innocent civilizations at this age, now known as Existence. Some have elongated translucent bodies, extraordinarily tall in stature, and intelligent. An extragalactic race far beyond advancement that anyone at this time could imagine. The core and founding factions traveled across the multi-universe, though one stayed behind. The majority never returned to their original home and never seen again. Those stayed behind done so to fulfill a mission, prevent total control from the opposite…the UnExist.
The UnExist are the opposite, similar to the Ancient Heartless during the Keyblade Wars eons ago. They are intelligent, knowledgeable of the vast universe Unlike Luminarae, they have the appearance of a multi-colored mixture. Not rainbow but think of white paint mixed with pink oil painting for instance. They maneuver the environment with distorted, inconsistent grotesque figures with a glimpse of horror imagery. An appearance that invokes fear and trauma within the subconscious. Interstellar ships and galactic structures made from organic material, dried and hollowed husks of countless bodies. Their purpose, control everything that all was and is for eternity. They were aware of their history of the Light and Darkness War and keyblades forged to battle against their ancestors. To gain full control they need to access and control Kingdom Hearts, but that object is long gone, lost in history and only as a memory. The idea of time travel was a fairy tale but kept going to push their efforts anyway. Thankfully, their reign and control no longer would spread.
During the War of the Aug-urer-Dan Nebulae (as we can translate), The Luminarae forces gained access and control to the Portal of Unixaly by destroying UnExist dimensional territories. Infinite of innocent lives were wiped in the process, but that ensured all of Existence will not fall the same fate. With portals to other universes and extra-dimensions vaporized, UnExist forces were stranded in this space and time, but they had one last trump card left: Recreate themselves in a parallel Universe. They are already dead, but thanks to their hyper-quantum intelligence, able to recreate themselves during the birth of the same Universe, here we will call it K-β. Quickly drawing the power of the entire Universe, the UnExist became so powerful they cause fabric of space and time collapse and transferred their consciousness and essence through a tunnel, connecting to the K-β. The tunnel finally reached, spinning all particles to reverse in time, hijacking all laws and governing mathematics under their control. As they streamlined their essences, K-β reverts to its infant stages before the Big Bang as a single, strand of energy fabric. The power of their essence ignites and rebirth the K-β. The war between the Luminarae had come to its end, never seeing the UnExist ever again. The tunnel reforms, leaving a gaping hole in Universe K. The fragments of the UnExist lives on to become the energy of the Universe, the radiation, the stars, the atoms but on a different dimension in the same Universe. That Universe will continue to grow for billions of years, this time with their influence. They will sleep until the day with the rise of Kingdom Hearts and the souls of the Hearts dispersed and travel through the stars. Until then they will wake… what happens from this point is still unknown.
Fast forward to the current event. Taking place in space, three planets collided with one another, created a shockwave, shaking a nearby fleet. One of the ships knocked off course, slammed with an asteroid. Inside the main bridge, a girl with red hair rose from her seat. As she stood, her chair explodes and bounced off onto the side. Her crewmembers were on casts, bandaged, and using the walls to support their stance. Several wielders attempt to cast white magic to heal others. Some could heal, others required physical medical attention with IV drainage and blood transfusion. The red-haired girl glances the battlefield, nothing but an endless fury of fire and explosions. "This was a result of what myself and the lost wielders have found during our journey, during my training to wield the Keyblade. I leave this letter to you Sora…from Kairi."
Seats and consoles on the bridge explodes, shattering glasses and monitors all over the floor. An orange cat runs up to the bridge. "We have to evacuate! The hull is collapsing! Arthur's fleet, they're all gone!" "Garfield, you and Odie dive out! Get on the Ghost right away, get a move on!" Kairi opens up a new monitor. "Maintenance! What's happening down there Bageera?!" The black panther dashes console to console, dropping tools all over. Grabs a welder on the panel and solders up several pipes. "QuantaGrav core will collapse, its losing stability! We can't hold much longer! Gadget, Gadget do you read? I need your wrench!" The female mouse lies unconscious underneath the debris. UnExist beings zeroing in on tiny, frail mouse as they dash towards her.
Beneath the broken planet, chaos floods the floating continents. UnExist forces poured out from beneath the landscape. Hundreds of wielders summoned their keyblades and charged forth, all fighting back-to-back in a team battle. One female wielder enshrouds herself helmet and armor, her keyblade into a keyspear. She jumps and used her momentum to toss the spear into four UnExist grunts, impaling them on the rocks below. Lava explodes and pours throughout the battlefield. Three wielders took off their armor and threw their blades like a boomerang. While in the air, they tagged-teamed and fought close quarters combat before catching their blades. The other punched, used shockwaves to evade and casts Ultima, while another encapsulates the explosion and converts into a barrage of beams raining down in a grid.
Outside the ship, countless explosions appeared in the sky. Stars going supernova, and UnExist ships laying large magnitude of turrets onto hundreds of ships. A Gummi ship zoomed through the beams, making a U-turn the deflect 5 beams back to the UnExist ships. Lea handles the throttle, while maintaining control of the seat. "Shoot, dodged a bullet there. Prompto! One of them on the tail, take him out!" Prompto in a spacesuit, anchored to the Gummi craft attempts to fight off the parasite on the stern. He pulls out his shotgun, blasting those that were attached. "Here's a starshell for you." Pulling the trigger, the bullet flies out but the ship spins, shooting several of them at once. Inside the bridge, a muscular duck puts his hands behind Lea's seat. "No worries, I'll take it from here." A girl with silver hair in a ponytail immediately shuts that down with a discontented face. "Um, no… remember years ago what happened at Coruscant? You barely made it to the hanger." Launchpad shrugged and played along. "Come on Sice, I got us in right? I think that counts." "We had to pay credits for the damage." Sice retorted. "Did not! The Beskar metal paid for that." Lea groaned. "Guys, we're not in R&R just yet." Behind the seat, there sat the gargoyle Lexington, moping around with his feet up on Lea's headrest. "You know, this is fun." The Gummi ship flies into the battle.
X-Wings and White Tie Fighters blasting through the fires of space, flying under asteroids and frozen lava with UnExist fighters flying towards them. One Tie Fighter folded its wings inside. Inside, a bear experienced in piloting targets the center of a ship. "Okay, lock on target. Get your best shot!" "Baloo! That's not a critical point!" "Kit, trust me." The squadron flies and dives ahead. Tie fighters line up while the X-wings slow right behind. The beams fire to sides with an X-pattern, missing the Tie Fighter wings for extra firepower and cover.
Another armada zoomed in, taking place closer to the star. A man in an armored suit lands on top of the ship. "Well, this does not look as easy as I thought." Points his hands out and fires a repulsor beam on a grunt. "When did I get myself doing this… Jarvis patched me through to Mowgli" The communicator beeped. "Mr. Stark, we forgot how to use your Jericho missiles. How do we load?" The iron man pulls up his diagnostic screen. Stark in a deadpan tone: "Your correct, and then we blow ourselves up because the front is faced toward yourselves. So that gives our enemies a chance to win." He flies off to the next ship, throwing beams down below.
Next to the ship, mechs deploy from the Eldridge III. Wong-Fei jumps in, tells the mechanic to resynchronize the controls. "Listen I need to align Xenogears' wave particles on the Aperture System. Get Maria if you have to!" The hangar bay explodes, and one creature pulls itself in while tearing up several mechs. Wong-Fei breaks a sweat and turns on the hologram communicator. He pulls the throttle up to his chest. Xenogears' head turns and arms in fighting position. "Billy…I don't think I could get started in time, get jumping in. Wait…Chu-Chu! I need both of your help now!" The creature tears the hangar apart, a jumping towards Wong-Fei. "Son of a bitch! Guys, HURRY!" The creature opens jaws with eight internal mouths closing in on him.
Back to Kairi, grunts with tentacles and UnExist Darktroopers invade the hangar bay. Breaking in through doors and shredding metal along the way. Rebel troops hid behind metal containers, dodging the fireballs thrown. The grunts roared and attacked two wielders at the hanger. One of them casts Blizzaga and froze the entire place. The other used Firaga, scorching the hangar, melting the Darktrooper's armor. A white mage, female Viera summons Carbuncle, curing Rebel ground troops wounded in battle. Back on the bridge, Bageera desperately warns Kairi. "EVERYONE GET OUT! GET OUT NOW! THE CORE IS…" The reactor melts and glows white, destroying the cameras. Kairi screams through the intercom. "All personnel, dive to these coordinates!" The entire bridge glows red and consoles melting. A man with a gun arm named Barret Wallace and a…lion or dog walks onto the bridge. "The hell you doin' Kairi? This $ %& is all goin' down!" "Blow this apart. We're jumping out." "Whoa wait, now? We're gonna die! Foo, there's no AIR!" Kairi grabbed an unconscious and bleeding Lisa Simpson from the console. Barrett and the lion fired and destroyed the bridge canopy, All four sucked out to the vacuum. The gravity of the planet pulls them in while she summons her keyblade before space-diving down the planet with her crew following behind her.
Kairi speaks in monologue. "Sooo Sora… you read and probably saw the videos sent to you. You won't believe what and how any of this happened. How about let's get to the beginning shall we?" For once, we are finally back to the beginning. All the way back, when Sora and Riku fought through the Sleeping Worlds. This was the time Sora failed his Mark of Mastery exam, going back to Traverse Town for self-searching. At the same time, Riku And King Mickey brought Kairi up to Yensid's Tower. Kairi said one last part of the letter "As you remember from this point, when Master Yensid began my training be a wielder, was when my wonderful journey began."
