(Prompt: Person A is lounging on the couch on Father's Day when Person B approaches and hands them a card. A is confused, as they don't have kids yet, until they open it and see a picture of B holding a positive pregnancy test/adoption papers/etc. How they react is up to you!)

Bellamy dug through his pockets for his keys, his arms full with the weekly groceries. He finally got a hold of them and put the key in the lock, managing to push the door open enough with his shoulder. When he got in, he could smell something sweet mixed with the smell of something burning. He smiled at what he saw when he walked into the kitchen.

Clarke was moving around the kitchen, pausing only to check the timer on the oven occasionally. He could hear her humming softly as she danced around. She turned as he set the groceries on the island, smiling at him.

"You're in a good mood," Bellamy said, finding it hard to fight back a smile. "Especially considering something is definitely burning."

"The first batch of cookies did not go as planned, but I learned my lesson. I'm watching them more carefully this time." As she said this, she turned and checked the oven again.

"Need me to take over?" He joked.

"Ha ha," She stuck her tongue out at him, her smile still remaining on her face. "I can handle it. How was your day?"

"Good, as always, great to see the guys. Although Lincoln was on the phone with Octavia for almost an hour." He rolled his eyes as he started putting the groceries away.

"Can you really blame them? It's Father's Day, and he spent a lot of the day with you guys instead of his family. I know your sister was hoping to do something today, but she wanted him to have fun with you all."

"You're right," He crossed to her, the loaf of bread still in his hand. He pulled her in for a quick kiss, then pulled back enough so that their foreheads touched. "Of course, I appreciate that. And I assume she also appreciated some girl time. How was Aurora?"

"Adorable as always. She's gotten so big now!" She twisted away from him, checking the cookies in the oven again. "She's almost three now Bell, it's crazy how fast she's growing up!"

"Well, we just had our 3 year anniversary, and Octavia was pretty pregnant at the wedding so it makes sense."

"Obviously I remember, since Octavia won't let me live it down. We planned our wedding over a year in advance, how was I supposed to know she'd be showing a lot at the time?" She grabbed an oven mitt and pulled the cookies out to cool. They were mostly okay, although a few in the back got a bit more done than planned. "Anyway, I know that's how time passes, but it seems like only yesterday that we held her for the first time. Now she's walking and talking. It's hard to decipher most of the time, but Octavia apparently understands all of her words. I tried, but I definitely didn't get all of it."

"Octavia has practice everyday. You know how much she struggled initially." He laughed, picturing her struggling to understand the little girl.

"Well you had no trouble last time we visited them. I'm pretty sure she wanted you to stay forever." She looked away for a moment.

"Jealous, Princess?" He gave her his trademark smirk, which earned him an annoyed look. "I had a lot of practice when I practically raised my sister, remember?"

"I know," She sighed, "It just makes me worry I won't be a good mother one day."

"You'll be a wonderful mother someday." He wrapped her up in an embrace, caressing the side of her face and brushing some of the hair out of the way.

"How do you know?" She whispered.

"Because I know you." He kissed her forehead gently. "And you've already got a bunch of adults that act like kids, and you are a great mom to them."

"Shut up," She laughed and pushed at his chest.

"Speaking of, I kept expecting Murphy to pull out another stupid card." He walked over to the couch, Clarke close behind. She sat next to him, her legs pulled up next to her as she leaned on the back of the couch.

"No Father's Day card from your delinquent children this year?" Clarke laughed.

"There's still time left in the day, but I think I'm in the clear this time." He rested his hand on her knee, his thumb tracing patterns on it.

Two years ago, Murphy had found a stupid and cheesy Father's Day card on sale and decided to give it to Bellamy as a joke, since their group of friends always said he acted like the dad of their group. It didn't help that he was a few years older than the rest of them. He'd been so annoyed at Murphy that day, but he figured it was a stupid one-time joke. He'd been wrong.

Last year Murphy decided to go a step further. He bought another stupid and cheesy card, but he made the group sign it. All of them. Miller, Raven, Jasper, Monty and Harper. Even Lincoln and Octavia had participated in the joke. Clarke had found it hilarious, and, even though he wouldn't show it, Bellamy secretly enjoyed the joke.

The whole time he was out with the guys, Murphy, Miller, Jasper, Monty and Lincoln, he'd been expecting something to happen. He had no idea how they would top the card from all of them, but he didn't put it past them to try. He was so surprised when they were all leaving and no one had done anything out of the ordinary. They just had a good time and laughed a lot while having a few drinks.

"I wouldn't be too sure of that…" Clarke smiled mischievously as she got up and walked quickly to the bedroom. He heard her rummage around for something and watched as she practically skipped back to her place on the couch. She sat down, this time tucking her legs underneath her as she bounced up and down a few times. Her excitement was bringing a smile to his face, but he didn't trust whatever was in that card.

"Now that's just low." He narrowed his eyes at her, his smirk still in place. "Bringing my wife in on the joke? That's low even for Murphy, which is saying something."

"Just shut up and open it." She smiled, trying and failing to contain the excitement.

He rolled his eyes at her and opened the envelope, revealing a simple card that read "Happy Father's Day." He looked at her, raising an eyebrow. The other cards had been a lot more over the top, so the simplicity was confusing him. She nodded her head, telling him to continue. He opened the card, which read "Congratulations" in the same handwriting that he saw on the notes scattered around the apartment, as well as a photo that changed his life.

The photo was of Clarke, beaming while holding a pregnancy test. There were two lines. Positive.

His heart stopped. He shook his head as his mouth opened but no words came out.

"Clarke…" He tried to stammer out. "Are you…? Does this mean…"

"Yes!" Clarke whispered through the tears, her smile became even brighter.

A smile that rivaled her own broke out on his face, and he fought down the happy tears that wanted to leak out. He didn't trust words, so he just reached over and grabbed her hips, tugging her into his lap. His lips found hers passionately, letting the kiss say all the words his brain struggled to string together.

Clarke's joyful laughter broke the kiss, and he immediately hugged her excitedly. She held his face in her hands, bringing his focus back to her.

"Did you like your gift this year?" She whispered, leaning in to kiss his cheek.

"Nothing like learning you're going to be a father on Father's Day." He kissed her once again, and then placed a soft kiss to her nose. "I've never been happier."
