Chapter-1
Childhood Lessons
Harry Potter was mistreated. Not too much, because then it would be noticeable and pretty obvious to anyone who observed the boy. The abuse was mostly mental and rarely ever got physical.
Even though the Dursleys put him in the cupboard, even they were not cruel enough to not feed a young boy. He was given food, but always the smallest portion and only after making sure Dudley had enough to eat. The blatant favoritism shown in the household was truly sickening.
He realized from a young age that no one else would ever truly care about him and that the only person who actually gave a sh*t about him, was himself. Harry learned that nobody else could be trusted after his only friend in class was beaten up by Dudley and his gang. They beat the poor kid into spilling all of the secrets that Harry had entrusted him with. Thus, Dudley came to know that Harry had talked to the boy about his cupboard room and the rare beatings that he received at home. After threatening Harry's "friend" into promising that he would never speak about it and that he would stay away from Harry, Dudley told Vernon about the incident. That night was the first and last time Harry was beat into unconsciousness. Vernon had thought that the boy had died and was scared out of his wits. He never hit him again, but the incident had already branded itself into Harry's mind and the helplessness that he felt at the time would forever haunt Harry Potter.
Petunia did not want her sister's son to be tortured the way he was, but she truly was a weak willed woman who did not dare to raise her objections against Vernon's reasoning that the boy deserved all of it and more because he was a "freak". Little did she know at the time that her inaction would lead to the creation of a chaotic monster that would eventually destroy their lives for all that was done to him.
None of the teachers at school ever managed to figure out the reason for Harry's self-isolation in class. All this played a major role in shaping Harry Potter in to the ruthless, self-centered and independent man that he would later grow up to be. But all great stories have to begin somewhere. Harry Potter's began at the age of 7, when he received a special ability. An ability he would use throughout his life to achieve wonders which would've been impossible for a weak little boy.
An ability that granted him a powerful title : The Gamer.
A/N: Hello, People of Earth. I, the Beast Of Destiny, has made an attempt to write the introduction to a Harry Potter/Gamer fic. Hope everybody enjoys reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I plan on creating a badass, slightly manipulative, dark Harry Potter who will do anything that is necessary to get what he wants.
