In Between Us
Chapter 1
"If you decide to go on this tour we're done. It's that simple Haley. If you love you'll stay." Nathan said.
Haley stared up at him her eyes wide. "It was you're choice to give up going to the college you wanted to go to in order to be with me. I never asked you to choose. Why does it have it to be one or the other.?" She questioned.
"You know how i feel about him. I support you and you're career but not at the expense of our relationship." Nathan said.
"If that were true. You would trust me and us. Instead you're acting like a child who didn't get his way. I won't reward you by giving you what you want. I will not end up like you're mother putting her own wants and dreams aside in order to watch her husband live out the life he dreamed of. If i stay i'll resent you." Haley proclaimed.
"If you go we're done. Our relationship. This marriage. I guess i was right when i said it then. Marrying you was the biggest mistake of my life." Nathan said.
Haley winced. Blinking back tears. Turning from him as she grabbed ahold of her suitcases and left their home.

A few weeks later Haley get's divorce papers delivered to her that she reads and puts away. Not having the heart to sign them.
While Nathan returns back to the guy he was once hardened, self destructive, and empty. His anger results in him not doing well in school, hanging out with friends he had lost contact with, and drinking,
