Balloons

Something was wrong within the city. And Aizawa could tell. The underground hero looked at the information laid upon his desk before him. None of it made any sense. Seemingly random class D-B villains and citizens hung from their balloon look alike. The rope so strong it actually acted like a noose of sorts. They where at least 30 known cases of this phenomenon. The heroes and police where lucky that they where able to save 3 of the victims. The most of the rest died before they could even get there. And one was still rising into the makeshift cloth ceiling. Whoever was doing this was intending for the heroes to see them. Or else the ceiling wouldn't be there in the first place.

The last 3 they where able to save. The victims, Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, and Inari Arakashi had barely a minute left of their lives when the heroes arrived. At least, that's what the timer said. The daunting red numbers on the back of the balloon that taunted the underground hero for weeks. He looked at the pictures of the teenagers. Comparing them from pictures of them before their disappearance, age 12, and after, age 14. They almost looked the same. Just bigger and more mature like. One note the police took that all 3 of their hair and eye colored changed from their respective ones, to a bright blue. Blue surgical scars littered their bodies as they lay All victims disappeared for at least 5 months before being found by the police. Hanging in the alleyways. But these 3 seemed to be missing for the longest. Like it was planned.

Aizawa entered the room where the three remaining victims where kept. They all sat in grey chairs. Blindfolds covering their faces and quirk suppressors around their arms. He wondered if they could see though those. The slow breathing of the teens assured the underground hero that they where asleep. Aizawa looked at them with pity. They didn't deserve this. They didn't deserve any of this. But it has to be done. Or else the attacks will continue, until the whole city is wiped out.

He couldn't let that happen.
