Sonic stared at Shadow. The two had been long time rivals, and here in the world fighters tournament finals, they could go as hard as they could against each other. Only rule was no killing, so everything else was allowed. Sonic needed the Chaos Emerald as much as Shadow, and neither were going to back down.
"Match begins in 3" Sonic and Shadow stared at each other again.
"2" Sonic got ready to defend, as Shadow always attacks first.
"1" Shadow prepared himself to push past his limits, and defeat Sonic, to prove he's the ultimate lifeform.
"Start!"
