Don't worry, I'm not doing the whole 'Zeus swears to remain loyal to Hera' oath, that idea belonged in a Naruto/Percy Jackson story called the New God. Instead, I have something, possibly better. The OC, Markus, is born about a year before Thalia is born, let's just say Zeus and Hera have sex when the month of June comes and Hera ends up pregnant despite the two gods not trying for another child.

Also, I won't do an OC evil brother, Markus has Ares for that, instead Markus' rival will be a God from another Pantheon, might be the Norse, Egyptian, or Shinto.

Anyway, this is a harem story but I don't know how big it will go. The women in it so far are; Athena, Aphrodite, Artemis, Thalia Grace, Katie Gardener, and Silena Beauregard. These six are in the harem so far but I don't know if I'll add the likes of Annabeth, Piper, might add Bianca and Zoe.

Anyway, let's begin.

"And over here we have Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. The Big Three of the Gods. The kings of Olympus, the Underworld, and Atlantis respectively."

A teenage boy at 18 years old glanced over from the statue of the Greek Goddess Hera to the group of students who were being taught about the history of the Greek Gods, starting with the Big Three and most powerful Gods of Olympus. The teenager had short black hair that was slicked back, looking similar to the hairstyle of the Devil May Cry character Vergil. He also had electric blue eyes.

He was dressed in a black short sleeved Metallica shirt with the name of the band across the chest that hugged his toned chest, over that he was wearing a faded black, 3/4-length, hooded leather jacket with red interior linings and the British Union flag sewn on the left arm, black fingerless gloves, black faded jeans and black military boots.

The teenager held in a chuckle as he returned his gaze back to Hera with a fond look in his eyes. Why did he have such a fond look for the wife of Zeus and Queen of Olympus?

Simple; She was his mother, and Zeus was his father.

That's right, this normal looking teenage boy was called Markus Maverick, the last name was made up to blend in, the son of Hera and Zeus themselves. He was the Prince of Olympus and a God of Olympus, more specifically the God of Loyalty, Heroes, and many other domains and titles that would take too long to go through. His main domains were Loyalty and Heroes, he wanted domains that wouldn't restrict him to the Laws placed by Zeus when his reign began. Now one may wonder; What's the son of Zeus and Hera doing down in the mortal realm at a Museum?

Two years ago, he got tired of his parents arguing over the fact Zeus cheated on Hera again, twice with the same woman except the second time was as his Roman counterpart, Jupiter. This new affair brought the birth of Markus' demigod half siblings, Thalia and Jason Grace, with Thalia being a few years older than Jason. Though, the mother of them was a total bitch to out it simple from what Apollo said about how the woman kept pestering Zeus about visiting Olympus and wanted eternal beauty.

To Markus, it sounded like this woman thought herself the most important woman on Earth because she got the attention of Zeus, did she not realize he was known for sleeping with women and leaving them with demigods?

Either way, Markus was fed up with hearing Hera and Zeus argue over Zeus' affairs and decided he needed some time off. So, he left Olympus and went through a normal mortal life for the past two years, the only people who knew of this were his favorite aunt Hestia, and his grandmother Rhea.

When those two are cooking dinner, it's like the Universe forged the most delicious, tasty food ever!

On the first year, Markus stayed with his grandmother who was living over in the United Kingdom at the time. London was very nice to visit, and Markus visited many important landmarks in Scotland and England, including the fore corners were apparently the pieces of William Wallace were sent after his death during the Scots' revolution against the English.

Halfway through the first year, Markus got himself into college to ease his boredom. Being an immortal God can be boring when you have nothing to do except keep to your duties, but college was fun to go through, despite the fact he went through a more advanced version thanks to his sister, Athena.

Though he did learn more things about the UK's history that he didn't really know so it wasn't a complete bore. Near the end of Markus' first year, Hestia came and told him Olympus was searching for him but Hestia told the Olympians that Markus wanted time away after hearing Zeus and Hera argue.

Markus thought the world of his parents, he loved them despite their dark history and what they've done to humanity, like Zeus' affairs, Hera trying to kill Hercules, or Heracles, when he was just a baby, banned Leto from giving birth to Artemis and Apollo anywhere on Earth, Zeus causing destruction because of his paranoia and anger, swallowing his first wife Metis because of a prophesy, though Hestia told Markus that Zeus felt incredibly guilty when he was alone because he realized he did exactly what his father, Markus' grandfather, Kronos, did to Hera, Demeter, Hestia, Poseidon, and Hades.

Nobody wanted to become a madman and evil bastard like Kronos.

So Markus hasn't had any contact with other immortals except for Hestia and Rhea. On the second year, he moved back to the States because he just had a gut feeling something was going to happen, and he was right when the weather had recently been violent, more than it usually was. The sea was the same and Markus knew it was Zeus and Poseidon being angry, possibly at each other but that wasn't new.

Markus did miss being back home on Olympus, he missed his siblings, except Ares, he missed his two favourite sisters Athena and Artemis. When he was born, Artemis immediately wanted the opportunity to have one male God who'd respect women and not be like the rest of typical males. She succeeded as Markus respected women and wasn't arrogant, well not as much as his father or Ares bigheaded, and egotistical. Also, he wasn't some horn dog that sleeps with every beautiful woman he sees. His immunity to Aphrodite's Charmspeak and her attempts to seduce him. That got on Aphrodite's nerves yet she seemed to love those who play hard to get.

Markus shouldn't have been surprised when she tried having sex with him when he turned sixteen, she always jumped to men after men because of looks and attractiveness. Though she seemed so determined in pursuing him, she had Ares so why was she after him?

Shaking his head, Markus came from his thoughts when hearing a boy's voice tell a girl to shut up. "Artemis would've been pissed off at hearing that." He muttered before turning to the group at the statues, his eyes narrowing as he looked st a boy with short black hair and sea green eyes.

Why did he smell like the sea?

'Oh, please don't tell me Uncle Poseidon fell off the bandwagon!' Markus thought with a mental groan. He knew of the oath Zeus, Hades and Poseidon took at the end of World War 2 to not have anymore children because of a Great Prophesy that a demigod of the eldest god will destroy Olympus or save it.

"Mr. Jackson," the teacher of the group said, "did you have a comment?"

The boy, Jackson, shook his head. "No sir."

The teacher pointed to one of the pictures on the stele. "Perhaps you'll tell us what this picture represents?"

Markus looked himself and narrowed his eyes when seeing it was the picture of Kronos swallowing his children. The boy seemed to know this as well. "That's Kronos eating his kids, right?"

"Yes," the teacher said, obviously not satisfied. "And he did this because ..."

"Well..." Jackson paused for a few moments. "Kronos was the king god, and—"

"God?" The teacher interrupted. Markus held back a snicker as he knew Zeus would've killed this boy for calling Kronos the king of the gods.

"Titan," Jackson corrected himself. "And ... he didn't trust his kids, who were the Olympian gods. So, um, Kronos ate them, right? But his wife hid baby Zeus, and gave Kronos a rock to eat instead. And later, when Zeus grew up, he tricked his dad, Kronos, into barfing up his brothers and sisters—"

"Eeew!" said one of the girls behind the boy. Markus rolled his eyes before throwing up his hood as he was getting ready to leave. Maybe go walk about Central Park.

"—and so there was this big fight between the gods and the Titans," Jackson continued, "and the gods won."

'Well, that wasa a short summary, but I did the same when I was three years old and Athena was teaching me the family history.' Markus thought to himself before walking away, not bothering to listen to whatever happens next. He wanted to know why a centaur and a Satyr were here. If a possible son of Poseidon was, then that explains it.

Markus had a feeling things were going to be changing soon, but whether it was a good or bad change was lost to him.

"Nobody knows the trouble I've seen." Markus sang to himself as he sat outside the museum, watching the various students and adults having their lunch outside. Above in the sky, a huge storm was brewing, with black clouds over the city. Markus narrowed his eyes, this was what he was concerned about. This bad weather has been like this since Christmas.

'Dad's seriously fuckin' pissed about something.' Markus thought with worry for his parents and siblings, except for Ares. Markus despised Ares with a passion and, he'll NEVER admit this, was a bit jealous Ares was the God of War, a throne and domain Markus may have desired in the past...and still does.

He may not or want to be some warmonger like Ares if he was the God of War, but a new God of War was possibly needed with Ares' tactics and how he always wants a war and fight between the family.

Plus that new God of War game didn't help matters but it was still fucking amazing to play.

Markus came out of his thoughts when hearing a girl scream, "Percy pushed me!" He looked over to see a red haired ugly girl in a fountain where the boy who smelled like the sea and the satyr were sitting.

Some of the kids were whispering: "Did you see—"

"—the water—"

"—like it grabbed her—

Markus' eyes narrowed further, his suspicions were becoming all too clear and confirmed now as he learns more about this Percy Jackson. He watched as the female algebra teacher walked away with Percy. Markus got up and went after them, from what he could sense and feels that woman wasn't human.

She was a Fury, a minion of Hades.

Markus followed them into the Greek and Roman section of the museum. The gallery was empty except for them.

The algebra teacher stood with her arms crossed in front of a big marble frieze of the Greek gods. She was making this noise in her throat, like growling.

'Yep, definitely a monster'.

"You've been giving us problems, honey," she said.

"Yes, ma'am." Percy said, probably thinking that was the safe thing to say. Markus almost smacked his forehead.

The Fury tugged on the cuffs of her leather jacket. "Did you really think you would get away with it?" The look in her eyes was beyond mad. It was evil.

Markus tensed as he watched, on his back a sword appeared across his back. It was a long broadsword with the symbol of Olympus in the middle of the hilt. This was Stormbringer. (AN: Imagine Rebellion from Devil May Cry 4 but the symbol of Olympus, the story picture, replaces the skull)

He rested the blade onnhis shoulder, watching and prepared to jumli in as the Fury revealed herself and attacked the boy. Markus was luckily hidden somewhere nobody could see him. He then saw the centaur, still in disguise, enter the room holding a pen in his hand.

"What ho, Percy!" he shouted, and tossed the pen through the air as the Fury lunged at Percy.

Percy dodged and felt talons slash the air next to his ear. He grabbed the pen which soon ended up becoming a sword. Markus' eyes narrowed as he watched the boy fight the Fury, though his lack of skill showed.

The Prince of Olympus, seeing enough, grabbed a silver dagger from his waist and sent it flying like a boomerang and it went slicing through the Fury. Markus quickly left the room before he could be seen. Stormbringer disappeared on his back.

Markus made the sword disappear and quickly left the museum, throwing his hood up as rain began pouring down. The Prince of Olympus walled in the direction his apartment was.

And that's it for the first chapter. I hope you all enjoyed it. Give me ideas for the harem or other gods for Markus to fight aside from his rival, who I may make the son of Thor since the Norse will be brought in later, not the Magnus Chase Norse Gods.
