Chapter 1 – A Puzzling Request

- Dimension Alpha – Zenith – Town of Silverkeep – Cyberdroid Manor - January 13th, 2020 -

Rain didn't bother most of the inhabitants of Silverkeep. The sun was peaking out from some clouds, and some of the local children were waiting for a rainbow to point the way to some enchanted gold. The dragons were in their hotel-like hold on the opposite side of town, many of the inhabitants would pass by and hear the rumbling voices telling stories to children and adults alike. Rain was normal, and beautiful. It was peaceful, and the sound was pleasant to the ears. Some of the craftier townsfolk of Silverkeep had even created rain charms.

Rain charms were enchanted to play tunes whenever they were struck by the falling water, and that could be heard from road to road.

But for the more robotic inhabitants of the realm, they remained indoors. Some of them stayed indoors because they had to. Hailing from dimensions not known for waterproofing their robotics, or they were wounded and the rain would damage them further. Some cybertronian visitors had been shrunk to fit in the buildings because they were afraid of the rain. Understandable when they explained that rain on their home world was made up of acid. Most of them stayed in Cyberdroid manor. A magical building that could fit many thousands.

It was mostly running because four robotic hero's didn't want them to be stuck alone. They also knew what it was like to be different. Not being fully robotic, and not fully human. They had human parts on the inside. While all enhanced with cybernetics, they had human brains, spinal cords, and nerve endings to name a few parts, and that had all been fused at the cellular level to their metal bodies. Their names was Jade Epsilon, Kana Iota, and Alon Upsilon, and Cyber Alpha.

They had saved the world from the Shadow King, and gained powerful amulets that they kept close to their still beating human hearts. The adventure was over, and Cyber Alpha, was tiered of it.

While she loved the world she was in, and she loved spending time with other bots around Cyberdroid manor (Named after the species that she and her brethren were after the battle of the Shadow and Light), she was tiered of it. She wanted adventure, she felt as if she was being pulled away from her world to a world anew. She was so tempted to walk up to the magic wishing well and wish her way toa another dimension. And yet, she was hesitant at the idea, for what would her blood brother Jade think about this.

She was contemplating this on top of her bedroom tree. Something she had asked was to have the most broken room in the manor. This room had a large tree growing out of the roof, and she had build platforms and small rooms in its branches. If she had been any lower in the dense branches, she would not feel the rain pounding on her outer armor. But with her wish for adventure came the need to see Silverkeep from above. And this meant getting wet. Thankfully, it was now only sprinkling.

She was brought out of her thoughts by her dragon companion. A blue and brown Japanese dragon with a long silver mane appeared in front of her, his blue scales reflecting both the pink light of her optics, and the shine from the sun on her transparent blue visor. He pointed out to one of the paths that cane from the woods and wound through the town to the wishing well. the main roads where new being normal appeared from.

Even Cyber had come from her dimension to there.

"what it is Tatsuya?" she asked with annoyance thick in her voice, "I was thinking."

"someone's there Cyber. And he looks hurt!" the cat-sized (He was much longer than any cat) dragon said, winding about her shoulder plating.

Cyber zoomed in to take a look at the path in question, and sure enough, there was someone there. He had a long cape around his shoulders, and a staff in his hand…no Servo, she could see the metal shining from the limited sunlight and the way his eyes glowed under his or her hood. He also walked with a defined limp, leaning on his staff as a way to keep up.

"Your right Tatsu. We need to go help him."

"Yeah!" Tatsuya began to fly (well, more like float) in the direction of the bot, then turned around to face his best friend, "Want a lift?"

Cyber laughed, "Naw, I can use my own wings."

In her mind, Cyber nudged her amulet, and magic surged through her body. Her amulet also was brimming with joy at the thought of being used, especially in this situation. That was the funny thing with the amulets of Zenith, they had a mind of their own. Semi-sentient, they could use telekinesis to float in their bearer's hands, and an empathic link to communicate. But this was the least of their powers, turning into weapons and granting magical abilities. Shodar'ha specifically, allowed Cyber to be a shapeshifter.

As long as there wasn't moonlight shining down on her. Shodar'ha was lunar made, so the moonlight would dampen this magical ability so that she couldn't shift. As the moon preferred to see the true self of the bearer in its light. And Shodar'ha wasn't the only lunar made amulet like this, there were plenty of others. And as the moon wasn't up, Cyber could rise into the air with the sun.

The amulet now swinging about her neck on a strong chain, in place of the robot being was a dragon. She looked like Tatsu, but larger and pink and grey with a blue mane, in contrast to Tatsu's blue and silver scales. She also had glowing pink eyes, that looked at him and smiled.

"funny thing, you said wings when my kind doesn't have any." Tatsu laughed.

Cyber laughed as well, "but then I couldn't do this!"

With a roar, she felt her body wind up like a spring, her muscles clenching. Then she jumped into the air. The wind picking her up, and spinning her through the sky. She could feel the wind tussle her mane and tail fur. She could hear it laugh as she did, and it sounded sad when she had to land.

Shifting as she landed, she could feel her tail stiffen as she heard a voice, "Well now, this is unexpected."

Turning around, she was face to face with the newcomer. His hood was down now, so she could see his face. He had a blue faceplate, and pink optics like Cyber. His staff, now that she was closer, wasn't a piece of wood carved for support, but rather, a large sword. Decorated with strange runes and held a strange, almost magical air to it. The mech himself seemed to be to the brim with Magical abilities, as well as dimensional residue in the form of what appeared to almost be his aura. But it was almost worn off, and his body was adjusting to the dimension around him.

Then she noticed the glowing blue substance, energon, flowing out of a wound on his left leg. She walked up to him, "Sir, you're hurt. Let me help you and take you to Cyberdroid manor, we can fix you up."

"I am afraid, I must decline." The mech spoke with an ancient air about him, "For I have not come here for repairs, I have come for you, Cyber Alpha 1."

"But your leg- wait how to you know my name?"

"Let me introduce myself." He made an effort to stand up straight, but it was still slouched because of his injury, "My name is Vector Prime, Guardian of Time and Space."

"Vector Prime, I have heard many stories. It is an honor to meet you." Cyber made a motion similar to bowing, "But may I please look at your leg, you must be in great pain."

"The pain will pass. But I have something I need you to deliver for me."

"Deliver? Deliver where? And what?"

"Deliver this." A strange glowing light appeared in Vector Prim's hand, he shoved it in the direction of Cyber's chest, as if he wanted her to catch it.

She faltered as she missed the catch, and felt Vector Prime's warm servo on her chest. His optics flashed, and the ball of light disappeared into her chest. It felt warm, and she could feel herself become really tiered. She looked at him, about to ask what just happened when everything went dark. Succumbing to the darkness, she felt herself fall asleep.

Unknowst to her, Blue light danced around her. It was bright, and Tatsu had to shield his eyes as she was lifted into the air, and disappeared in a flash of white light. She was gone, the only thing left of her being there was her footsteps in the muddy ground. Tatsu looked to Vector Prime, "where did you send her?"

"I sent her to where she needs to go. I know she will succeed."
