I do not own Star Wars or the characters in it. This is something I've been working on for a while. I haven't finished it because I do not have all the dialog from the movie. If you know how to get it please tell me. Question here, do you want me to post the chapters in order. Or do you want me to post what I have done, whether it's from the middle or end and then find a way to put it in order afterwards?

The Knights of Ren had tracked her to Kef Bir in the Endor System, the Death Star's graveyard. He didn't understand why she was here. It made no sense. What did the Resistance want from the wreck?

For a moment he wondered if she had come to visit her Grandfather's grave. But he immediately abandoned the theory, she was here for another reason.

He landed his TIE-Whisperer on the skeletal remains of the dilapidated structure.

What was she after?

Was there anything of value left in this wreck?

If there was, he was certain the Scavenger would find it.

He climbed up after her, following the trail she had left to mark her way back down. As her physical trail ended he closed his eyes and focused inward towards the part of him that knew and understood her, to the part of him that always knew whether she was safe or not. To the Bond.

Yes, she had been here. She was still on the Death Star. He opened his eyes. And walked confidently on.

Still following her trail he entered The Emperor's throne room. He glanced around. Her trail led in, but not out. He could see no other exit. He closed his eyes and focused inward again. She was here. Only minutes ago she had stood where he was now. But she had gone out. He opened his eyes. And strode on, but he was puzzled.

He stopped at the doors. They were closed and locked. If he remembered correctly, by the time the First Order had located the wreckage, the Rebels had stripped it for parts. Which included the power generators. They had left only the steel skeleton and such things that they could not - or would not - cart away. There was no way they could have opened, and yet she had passed through them.

He took a step forward and suddenly they slid open, revealing Rey sparing with air. He blinked and an image materialized; Rey sparing with herself.

The self that he had seen in his vision sitting beside him on the Throne of the Sith. And in that moment for some inexplicable reason he hated her.

She was not Rey.

Neither woman had noticed him, so he watched in silence. The Force fantom hissed suddenly and artfully swept her scarlet double lightsaber towards Rey's neck. She stepped back parring the stroke but she stumbled. She regained her balance, but the stumble had cost her to much and she fell to the ground, her saber clattered to the floor out of her reach. From her other hand fell a green pyramid.

So that was what she had been after: a Sith way-finder. He bent and picked it up.

She turned her head and saw him. Rey's expression changed. She scrambled to her feet with her blue lightsaber once more in her hand.
