It was a beautiful day on Mount Paozu. The sky was a clearness azure, the birds were sitting on the trees and chirping loudly and the sun was shining clearly in the sky, and it shone like a bright light bulb in the dark.
The illuminate rays shined through the window of the Son house at Chi-chi, who tried her best to ignore the blinding light. The former princess was currently washing dishes, and she had a worried look on her face, as she was currently thinking about her husband, Goku, and their son Gohan, who had gone out fishing a few hours earlier. They were supposed to be home an hour ago, but they hadn't returned yet.
Chi-chi's brow furrowed downward as she began scrubbing another dirty dish. She sighed.
"Where on earth could they be?"
Meanwhile, miles away from the Son house, Goku and Gohan were fishing by a nearby lake.
"Look dad! I caught a big one!" Gohan exclaimed enthusiastically as he held up a large fish. Goku smiled and laughed.
"Good son," Goku replied to him. "That's probably the best one you caught so far.
"Thanks." Gohan smiled at him. "I bet it would be very delicious if mom ever cooks it."
"Yeah, it really would." Goku replied. "Speaking of your mother, we should be heading home. She's probably worried sick now."
"Your right, dad." Gohan agreed with his father. "She's probably freaking out by now, I bet."
The two of them then gathered their things and flew off, headed towards home.
"Hey honey! We're home!" Goku called to his wife as he closed the front door behind him. He and Gohan had arrived home already, and stood in the front entrance.
Hearing her husband's voice, Chi-chi emerged from the kitchen. She was still wearing her apron, and smiled at Goku and Gohan.
"Hi goku," She said sweetly. "How was your fishing trip?"
"It was great." Goku chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head with his hand.
"Look mom!" Gohan held up the fish he caught. "This is the biggest fish I've caught so far!"
"That's good son," Chi-chi replied. "Can you go up into your room for a minute? Me and your father have to talk."
"Uh...Ok mom." Gohan replied to his mother as he sweatdropped. He may only be 10 years old, but he sensed something bad was about to happen. He left the entrance and up the stairs to his room, slowly and cautiously closing the door behind him.
"What is it Chi-Chi? You seem a little flustered.." Goku innocently asked as he nervously chuckled. He had a worried look on his face, and like his son he sensed something was very wrong.
"WHERE WERE YOU DOING OUT THERE FOR SO LONG, GOKU?! YOU HAD ME WORRIED SICK! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HOME AN HOUR AGO, I WAS SO SACRED THAT SOMETHING HORRIBLE HAPPENED TO MY LITTLE BOY!" The raven-haired maiden shrieked harshly at her husband.
Goku was now cowering in fear, and he stared up nervously at his wife. The former princess was incredibly furious, and she barred her teeth like a lion about to attack it's prey.
"I-I'm sorry Chi-Chi, I didn't mean to forget you...I guess I just forgot..." Goku nervously chuckled as he stared at his wife in fear.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU SOMETIMES GOKU! THAT'S IT, I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU! I'M NOT GOING TO RAISE OUR SON TO BE A LAZY BUM AND A STUPID PUNK THAT DOES NOTHING BUT FIGHT! ALL YOU DO IS FIGHT, EAT AND LEAVE YOUR FAMILY FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME FOR YOUR OWN SELFISH DESIRES! WE'RE THROUGH, GOKU! I HOPE YOU ENJOY SLEEPING OUTSIDE IN THE WILDERNESS FROM NOW ON!
Chi-chi started to throw an assortment of things at Goku, including a TV, knifes, and many other dangerous things. Goku managed to dodge all of them, and backed up against the front door.
"I'm sorry Chi-chi...I just forgot...I'll do better.." Goku cried in fear. Chi-chi just glared at him.
"YOU'VE HAD YOUR CHANCE GOKU, AND YOU SCREWED UP!" She screamed. She opened up the front door and practically threw Goku out. "WE'RE DONE! GOODBYE!"
She then slammed the door hard in Goku's face. After a few moments of just staring at the door in shock, he sighed sadly and got up.
He had an expression on his face that was a mixture between upset and shocked. He looked around and took a quick glance at the scenery.
"Oh kami...I guess I really messed up..." Goku thought to himself. He took a long glance at his now former home and sighed. "I guess I have to find a new home now.."
He sighed sorrowfully and took one long last glance at his now former home, before he turned around and flew off.
