Hey there Honkai fans, the name is Tubeday and tis is going to be my first honkai impact story. Its going to be a bit interesting and will be getting more and more different from the storyline as the story progresses...ofcourse they are a few major events that we cant really change but I feel like they are some that I can do without and because of that this story was born.
One thing that I should mention now is the fact that Kiana will not be the clueless girl that we all know and love. If you ask me I would say she inherites the best traits of her parents, a kind and gentle soul...who you do not want to piss off obviously.
So ya, if it wasnt obvious Kiana will also be stronger and more skilled, but not at an unrealistic rate, she will continue to grow as the story progresses.
The last thing I felt was important to address was the fact that I will be including some male OC characters as main. I'm aware this might not make the story as entertaining for others but I felt it was a necessary step that came with the change that I planned to make with to the entire story line.
Anyways that's it for now, I hope younall give my story a chance before deciding that you do not like it. I can promise you that it will be worth your wait as the story progresses onwards and I will try my best to update atleast once or twice a week just to keep you readers posted okay.
Anyways this is just the prologue...so enjoy!😂
Prologue: Where it all began
It is said that honkai is a form of energy that has long since been corrupting our world since the previous eras, slowly evolving as it adapted to the human world. Its rare power very infectious to those who were not resistant towards it, and as a result said victims be it animal or human were mutated into something else entirely.
The first case of this mutation was noted long before the modern and technical age as small creatures such as rabbits and frogs were infected by the honkai, this would of result in the creatures turning into giant beasts or immediate death if they could not handle the strain of the honkai energy. The honkai then began to affect larger creatures such as elephants, lions and bears whenever it was gathered in high concentration in a single area, these infected animals often became more aggressive and dangerous.
The first case of human infection however was slightly more bloody and gruesome than what had transpired with the animals. It occured when high concentration of honkai energy was spread out throughout and entire village due to a horde of honkai attacking it. Many people died that day, but astonishingly they were almost twice as many bodies and people missing from said village. It wasnt until much later that it was discovered that said people had been turned into honkai zombies, which were a lot more dangerous than the ones you see in the movies.
These beasts and zombies would roam the lands as they wreaked havoc and destruction upon any form of civilzation that they came across, until one day humanity decided to retaliat against said invading beasts. Unfortunately humanity had found itself in a situation where it weapons did not affect the honkai, the larger of the beasts being capable of taking a direct missile shot from a bazooka without getting so much as a scratch.
It was not until the founding of the religious organization known as Schicksal was founded in Europe, after the fall of the roman empire, that humanity gained hope and order under their rule. For they had found a way to gain control of honkai energy and, even better, found a way to use the honkai to create weapons that would be more effective against the honakai beasts. Said warriors who fought against the honaki beasts at the time were known as the crusaders, warrors who carried various honkai powered weapons that they used to fight of the honkai beasts, but as time went on it was discovered that humans could also be infected with the honkai.
The first case of this occurance was the great plague that occured in Europe, killing millions of people, it was also around that time that the valkyrie oder was founded as it was confirmed that women were more resistant to the honaki than men. The cure for the plague was then discovere by a member of the founding family of Schicksal, Otto Apocolypse before being administered to the public.
As the years passed by Otto became the leader, Archbishopp, of Schicksal and as the years progressed Schicksalwent from being a dominant ruling organanization, that was well focused on religion just as they were the honkai, to beiing a more secretive organization that mainly kept its activities from the public and fought the honkai in order to protect humanity.
As humanity evolved in its technology and mastering of the honkai, the honkai also evolved and became much stronger to the extent where unnatural phenomenons began to take place. The first of such being the honkai eruption that occured and destroyed the entire city of Berlin, giving rise to the first Herrscher, a god like being with the ability to bend the physical laws of nature themslves. Schicksal was quick to cease this being and began to run tests to see its capabilities, and after running afew tests the herrscher was ent over to the North London Branch of Schicksal HQ for futher research.
After these events occured it was believed that the honkai had completely that the honkai had completely vanished from the face of the earth as they had been no sightings of the in over thirty years, but that theory and assumption was squashed when honkai sightings were once again being reported in early 1983. Nobody knew why the beasts had disappeared only to return again, but all that matter was the war was back on again and Schicksal had to fight to defend humanity.
It wasn't until in the year 2000 that another major honkai outbreak occurred in Siberia, caused by the second Herrscher, Herrscher of the void. Said Herrscher had been a young girl who had been experimented on in one of schicksals labs in Siberia, the Tower of Babylon. The scientists would inject honkai energy into numerous girls using them as test subjects, their object was to find a means to increase the honkai resistance of valkyries in order to have more powerful troops. These tests resulted in Sirin awakening her Herrscher powers.
These experiments killed many children due to them being unable to handle the amounts of Honkai energy being injected into their bodies, three of the children which passed being very close friends of Sirin and her mother who was killed from the very same experiments. Needless to say she held a deep hatred for humanity because of what they took from her.
The second honkai war destroyed many cities all over the world, and claimed millions of lives as well. Sirin proved to be a formidable opponent, especially after her return from the moon with a major boost in power, but with the entire Schicksal force going against her and the power of Siegfried Kaslana and Cecilia Schariac they managed to win the war...but Cecilia died in battle while Siegfried went missing.
Fourteen years later, in the abandoned city of Ulan-ude in Russia, single figure could be seen walking within the destroyed city. The city had been one of the many victims to the honkai outbreaks that occured in Siberia as it was invaded by numerous honkai beasts that had managed to evade Schicksal forces after the second honkai war had occured. Needless to say the entire city had been bright down till they were no people left, they were either killed or zombified as Schicksal had been too busy stopping attacks elsewhere. As a result people usually avoided coming to Ulan-Ude all together due to the fact that it was rumored to still have multiple honkai beasts roaming around ,along with hundreds of zombies that were once the people of said city.
But one girl dared to enter the city, and her name was Kiana Kaslana. She was the daughter of Siegfried Kaslana and Cecilia Schariac. Kiana was a slightly pale skinned girl with silky snow white hair that stretched down to her mid back section and ocean blue eyes that shined when illuminated by the sun, she reached a height of approximately 157cm and was at the age of fifteen. She currently wore black polyester knee length shorts that had the words 'HOMU' written on them, a blood red short sleeved t-shirt with a Pokemon logo on it and a zipped and hooded silver training jacket.
The girl had been more or less staying in Ulan-Ude for almost four years now, and before that she had been staying with her farther in the snow lands of Siberia in a cabin. She had no memory of her life before she turned nine, but from time to time she would feel as though fragments of her memory were coming back bit by bit, most of the time in the form of whispers of voices that sounded familiar but she did not recognize.
At the age of eleven she was abandoned by her farther, leaving her with a note that just told her to head to the Far East. She had no idea what led to the abandonment itself but the last thing she remembered was her farther comforting her as their house and the forest around it went up in flames, her farther injured as one had been completely severed from the rest of his body. Kiana had a sneaking suspicion that this was her fault somehow, and that only served to make her wonder what had happened on that day. As much as she wanted to look for her farther, the young girl knew that search would not prove useful if she went at it alone, and for that reason, along with the fact that she swore to protect humanity, Kiana decided she would become a valkyrie. The only problem was she didn't even know where to sign up for the damn job, if it could even be called that, it's not as if they have a cell number that one could just dial or website that one could fill out a registration form.
As a result she left Siberia and headed east like her farther had told her to, it was during these travels that's he came across the abandoned city of Ulan-Ude. Once she had heard the rumors about the honkai beasts that roamed around the city Kiana immediately headed in its direction. If there was a chance that she would come across Valkyries at a honkai infected city then she was willing to take that chance, it also helped that she could get in some training and experience while she was here.
And so for the past four years the young Kaslana had been doing just that. She made good use of her time in Ulan-Ude to train herself physically and get experience in fighting the honkai, the and given the fact that she only had a baseball bat, that her farther had left for her, and two normal semi-automatic pistols, with honkai infused bullets, that was actually a great accomplishment in her books.
The only time Kiana ever left Ulan-Ude was when she needed to restock on food supplies, honkai infused bullets or needed a new set of clothes. For this reason, she visited a nearby by town called Chita that was at least a five day trip on foot in order to fulfill her needs. Of course money had been an issue at first, but when she found out that she could sell honkai fragments for high prices at the black market, which is also where she bought her honkai infused bullets, that issue became resolved, the only taxing part being she had to carry the goods she was going to sell from Ulan-Ude all the way to Chita...but then again one could always consider that a form of training and exercise, if it didn't kill you first that is.
And so that was the life of one Kiana Kaslana to date, the young Kaslana preparing to embark on another trip to Chita as her food supply had begun to run out and the ammunition she had would not last her the week, with how dangerous and unpredictable the beasts and zombies that plagued this city could be, Kiana could not afford to gamble when it came to bullets. She had learned that lesson in her first year here and was not about to repeat it again, it was just better to have an indefinite amount of bullets on you at all times. There was also the fact that she might need to get a new pair of guns soon as the one she had on her were beginning to lag a bit, probably from being overused. Normal Pistons were not meant to handle consecutive shots like Kiana did on a daily basis and as a result they would only last for about three months tops before they had to be replaced, while if handled carefully could last on for years, unfortunately Kiana did not have the pleasure of being careful when she was fighting for her life on a daily basis.
As the young Kaslana managed to sneak out of the city without being detected by any zombies or beasts she turned to look back at the infected city that had become sort of like a home to her, even though she fought to stay alive everyday, and had a bad feeling that was telling her not go. A premonition of sorts that something bad was about to happen, and that the consequences would be dire if she left, but Kiana shook her head and walked forwards in the direction of Chita.
She would soon come to regret this decision, as the wheels of fate had already begun to turn. Her dream of being a Valkyrie not too far away, but a heavy price she would have to pay.
And that wraps up the prologue of it folks, I know that not much happened in this chapter as it was mainly a background and history lesson about the honkai and a bit about Kiana herself. As you may have noticed there was no social interaction or any action of sorts in this chapter, that is because this is the PROLOGUE and there is still much to be done on my end so you don't have to worry too much about that.
I am willing to take any ideas and inputs regarding my story from those who have suggestions, whether I put it into the story or not is totally dependent on how I can fit it into the story line.
Thanks for reading and I hope you'reall staying safe from the corona virus😉
