One morning in Danger Rangers headquarters at Mount Rushmore, many years since the incident where Fallbot lost his memories after getting struck by lightning, Sully, who was now 46 years old, walked over to the intercom system and spoke into it.

"Danger Rangers to the control room, please", Sully said.

The other Rangers, who were also in their mid 40s to early 50s (except of course for Fallbot, who, being a robot, cannot age), reported to the control room.

"What's up, Sully", Burble asked.

"Is there a danger alert", Squeaky asked.

"No", Sully said, "I just wanted to talk to you all about something."

"What is it", Kitty asked.

"Well", Sully said, "we've been teaching kids about safety for many years."

"Yes we have", Burt said, "and I must say that they've been years well spent."

"I couldn't agree more", Sully said, "but, let's be honest, we're not exactly the rangers we were when we were younger."

"Ooh, no doubt about that", Squeaky said, "I've got this terrible pain in my back."

"Where are you going with this, Sully", Fallbot asked.

"I'm saying that it's time we started thinking about the future", Sully said.

"What do you mean by 'the future'", Gabriela asked.

"A future where we're not the Danger Rangers anymore", Sully said.

The other rangers gasped in shock at this.

"You can't be serious", Kitty said.

"Give up being the Danger Rangers", Burt asked.

"Yes", Sully said, "like I said, we're getting old, and we can't do this forever."

"Oh yeah", Squeaky asked, "watch me."

Squeaky began running towards the hovership, but stopped abruptly because of his back pain.

"Ooh, there goes my back again", Squeaky said.

Burble picked up Squeaky and helped to fix his back.

"Thanks, old buddy", Squeaky said.

"Anytime", Burble said.

"So, yeah", Sully said, "I think maybe it's time for us to retire."

"But Sully", Kitty said, "who's going to help teach kids how to be safe?"

"She's right", Gabriela said, "no one does it better than the Danger Rangers."

"Don't worry, girls", Sully said, "the Danger Rangers will still be here to help keep kids safe."

"But what about what you said about retiring", Fallbot asked.

"Who said it was these Danger Rangers", Sully asked.

The other Rangers immediately caught on to what Sully was implying.

"Are you suggesting that we put together a new team of Rangers to fill our shoes", Burt asked, "I mean, if we wore any."

"Yes I am, Burt", Sully said, "in order to ensure that the Danger Rangers are still saving lives, we're going to recruit and train a whole new team to do it for us once we're retired."

"Gosh", Kitty said, "I'm not sure what everyone will think about this."

"She's right", Burble said, "everyone's so used to us, they might not like the idea of a new team of Danger Rangers."

"I have no doubt in my mind that once the public gets to know this new team, they'll be just as beloved as we were", Sully said, "now, we better make the proper arrangements."

"Right", Gabriela said, "I'll spread the word about us retiring."

"And I'll put together a good campaign for recruiting the new Rangers", Burt said.

The word about the Danger Rangers retiring spread like a wildfire, and pretty soon, it was all over the world.

"Extra, extra, read all about it", a paperboy said, "Danger Rangers retiring, searching for replacement Rangers."

Also in every city were Uncle Sam-esque posters that featured Sully and said "I Want You For Danger Rangers", which were seen by many young men and women, who were all inspired to try their hand at becoming a part of the second generation of Danger Rangers.

Well, there you have it. The Danger Rangers are retiring, and they need six new Rangers to replace them. And how is that going to be determined? With help from you: the readers. Now, alongside the requirements, here are some other rules for submitting characters:

You may suggest a character that comes from a different country from the United States, however, the only options are France and England, as those are the only foreign countries visited by the Danger Rangers in the show.

The only species that I will NOT allow a character to be are those of the first generation Danger Rangers (sea lion, cat, polar bear, mouse, turtle, and hummingbird), as I am wanting the lineup where the new Danger Rangers are different species from the old one.

No two members will be the same species, so if someone else has made their character a species that you were wanting to make yours, you must pick a different kind of animal for its species.

Only one character submission per user, since there are only six spots that need to be filled, and everyone deserves a chance to submit a character.

The new team will consist of three males and three females. Once the maximum amount of one gender has been reached, I will not be accepting any more submissions for it.
