"Dawnkit! Wake up!" Falconkit prodded his sister with his paw. It was almost sun high, and his whole family was still asleep. Maybe even the whole camp. Mosskit stirred beside Dawnkit, and lifted his head. He blinked sleepily, then arched his back in a stretch.

"What's going on?" He yawned. Falconkit swiped a paw over his ear, glancing over at the other queen and her kits, CloudKit and Lynxkit. Lynxkit was a beautiful tan she cat with leopard like spots. Falconkit gazed at her, forgetting about his brothers question. "Falconkit? Hello?" Mosskit's voice snapped him back. There was a gust of wind outside, followed by the book of thunder and steady pattering of rain.

"Do you want to sneak out?" Falconkit questioned, scratching his ear. Mosskit froze, a look of surprise and confusion on his face. He shook his head, his eyes now filled with mischief. He turned and prodded Dawnkit again, then spun to wake CloudKit. "Well? Do you?" He questioned again, his tail twitching with impatience.

"Well DUH!" Lynxkit spoke quietly. She was awake and listening. Mosskit nodded his head as he tried to move CloudKit by the scruff. Lynxkit s eyes were a beautiful, calm blue. Like the color of the lake as the sun set. "Everyone is tired, so they will sleep awhile. We could get out and get back before sunset!" She purred and stuck out her tail in a stretch. There was a sneeze from where CloudKit was.

"I'll go to!" He meowed excitedly, sneezing again. He shook his fluffy grey and white pelt out and stood. "How will we get out? We can't exactly climb out the tunnel. We are WindClan! All the grown up cats are sooo tall and can reach it!" Falconkit thought for a moment. He looked to Lynxkit, Mosskit, CloudKit, and the wakening Dawnkit. The gleam in their eyes showed they all had the same idea.

"The stream!" They all whispered in unison. The five kits quietly snuck from the nursery into the shaded mossy clearing, and over to a small stream that flowed out of camp. A tiny beech tree grew next to it, with bark fallin off.

"We need something to float on." Mosskit mewed, looking to the medicine den. "Coralfang has huge peices of bark we could use! Maybe we could even get traveling herbs!" He rushed towards the den, the others following a tail length behind. Slowly, they entered the den, slipping into a large hollow filled with herbs,

"Over here!" Dawnkit called quietly. She pawed at large pieces of bark on a rock, pulling it down. "Now we just need traveling herbs!" She licked up some sticky, Golden, liquid. 3 of the others joined her. Falconkit went for something else. A thin, papery leaf sat on the ground. Falconkit swallowed it up, its bitter taste filling his mouth. While the others drank the sticky stuff, Falconkit swallowed many things he thought were for traveling. Yellow flowers, stringy white things that got caught in his throat, and a little red stalk with green leaves.

"Ready?" He mewed, licking his lips. He felt stronger already! The others nodded, and followed him out of the den, dragging the bark with them. The rain stopped and the sun shone bright. They dropped the wood into the water and flattened thems lives on top, their tiny bodies barely adding weight. They reached the other side outside of camp, and leapt off. "Let's chase each other!" He suggested. The others purred in agreement.

The five kits chased each other around as the sun moved across the sky through the day. Falconkit stopped for a breath and water. He stretched and started to run again, but stopped dead in his tracks as a stab of pain shot his belly. He looked around, then tried again. His belly hurt. Was it those herbs? He looked at the sky and saw the sun setting.

"We need to get back!" He yowled to the others and spun to return to his mother. The other 4 kits caught up to him, and walked beside him. His belly growled loudly, though he couldn't tell if it was upset, or hungry. He saw Dawnkit look at him.

"Hungry?" She purred, looking him up and down. She prodded his side with her paw. "You ok? You don't seem well." He looked down.

"I'm... I'm fine.." he muttered. They headed for the entrance to camp, knowing they could get down. With every step, he felt a stab of pan, like a fire inside him. He rushed to the den and lay down beside his still sleeping mother, resting a paw on his belly. What herbs did he really eat? Was that what made his belly hurt? He closed his eyes and drifted off.

Falconkit awoke to his belly howling loudly, still in pain. His mother stirred.

"Are you alright Falconkit?" Dewmist asked. He shook his head no. "Let me take you to Coralfang." She stood up and picked him up, carrying him away. She dropped him infront of the den. "Coralfang? Are you here?" Coralfang padded to the entrance.

"I'm here. What's wrong?" he purred. Falconkit looked down.

"I- I have a bellyache..." He said sadly. Coralfang narrowed his eyes. "We.. the five of us.. came in here.. the others got honey but I.." he broke off as the pain struck again, then continued. "I ate those papery leaves," he painted to the leaves he ate with his paw. "Some yellow flowers, and red stems with leaves." He admitted,

"Those won't harm you." Coralfang said calmly. The two older cats didn't seem mad. "Thank you for telling the truth. Take this yarrow, it will make you vomit the bad stuff up." Falconkit gulped down the foul tasting herb. He wretched and committed out bits of plants. Feeling better already, he wanted to rest.

"Can we sleep now, mother?" He asked. She nuzzled him with her muzzle, and swept him with her tail.

"Yes, my dear." She purred, leading him to the den. "Let's go."
