I knew it was bad, I just didn't know how bad it was going to be. after the giant war i knew things were going to change. we've all lost someone we loved. what i didn't know was that i was about to lose everything and everyone that i had. i only had a few people left on my side now. after a few weeks i noticed a change in Annabeth, she was more distant and she was no longer talking to me. one day i went to go to the beach to calm down when i saw her sitting on the beach. next thing i saw was another guy sit down next to her and kiss her. that hurt. i knew she was probably going to break it off which was fine with me but to not even break up with me and do this to me hurt like hell. how could she use me like this. i made sure she didn't see me. i didn't even want to talk to her now, i didn't even want to face her. she knows what my flaw is. loyalty. i guess Athena was right, it is going to be the death of me.

a day later i went to go visit my i got there i saw her laying on the floor. i ran towards her a sinking feeling coming in my stomach. i saw a pool of blood. i grabbed her hand to check for a pulse. none. i went over and looked for Paul. in the bedroom i saw him laying on the floor. gone. no, this cant be happening i thought. that's when i saw my father come in. he started to yell, "what did you do Perseus" he yelled. he grabbed me and threw me against the wall. he ran to my mom and held her. he had a look of hatred and spite. he looked at me and stood up. he summoned his trident and ran the end across my torso making me bleed. he then did a quick swipe towards my face and before i could react hit me. i knew i was going to have scarring but i didn't know how bad it was right now. that was when Hestia flashed in, i was surprised when she grabbed my father and pushed him off me and stood infront of me protectively. "what are you doing, and to your son none the less" she bellowed at her brother. "he killed them" he shouted back to her. "are you really that dumb that you think that? his fatal flaw is personal loyalty." Hestia touched my shoulder and flashed us away. next thing i knew i was outside of a house. "where are we?" i asked her dumbfounded at what just happened. we are on olympus and we are at Apollos palace. she went to the door and knocked. a few minuets later he came out. hey Hestia what do ya ne-" that's when he saw me. he ran towards me "what happened" he asked looking towards her. "Not here" she whispered. he nodded. he and Hestia put my arms on there shoulders and helped me inside. they carried me to a medical we got there he gently put me on the bed. by then most of the bleeding had stopped so he grabbed so dressings and started to explain. while he was doing that Hestia was explaining what happened and what was going on. Apollo just nodded. after Hestia was done explaining the whole situation Apollo asked the question that we were all thinking. what are we going to do. silence. 'we need to get him away from here" she said "until we are able to clear his name at least". they both looked at me. i nodded. "i need a new start anyways." "so we all agree until your name is cleared you will be off the grid we will hide you there best we can until then". i nod and so does Apollo.
