Greeds crew includes Bido (Gecko); Martel (Snake); Roa (Ox); Dolcetto (Dog); Ulchi (Crocodile); and Solf Kimblee. They don't die, and Kinblee hasn't left yet. Also I'm changing Kimblee's personality a bit, he's still a cold sociopath-ish person to those around him, but I'm making him like his sister, brother, and niece. Will also involve Hoenheim, this will be clear from chapter 1, but he won't really be introduced till a later chapter. Also, sorry for any grammer or spelling errors.
Chapter 1: The Blue Rose Alchemist
"Anna Kimblee! Stop!" One of the men chasing me shouted. I took a sharp turn down an alleyway and hit a dead end. "Blue Rose alchemist, Anna Kimblee, you're under arrest by order of the Lieutenant Colonel Archer." The man said as sights were set up pointing at me. I noticed a wound that I hadn't quite felt yet, as I was still pumping adrenaline. With that I realize something, Why inflict this kind of damage to someone, a bullet in my back, if you're planning to take someone in. Short answer, you don't.
I watched as what appears to be a man with a tail climbs down a wall. The soldiers were all in some kind of shock, and I took advantage of that, creating a door, laced with vibrant blue roses that basically made up the frame from the grass by the wall in the alley. "Come on." I say pulling the tailed man through the door, getting rid of said item on the other side.
I clasps against the wall as the man said "S-so your a-a-a s-s-state a-a-alchemist?" He asked timidly. Instead of wasting the little energy I have on words I grunt in adknoglement, and make a cage as military men surround me, again. Vines ran up and over men, suffocating them and making it a five by five by five. I put thorns sticking out on both sides of all vines, and there were roses in full bloom on it, making it virtually impossible to get to me.
〜At the devil's nest〜
"Mister Greed! Mister Greed!" The gecko chimera came shouting into the bar. He knew Greed was asleep this time, most likely having stayed up with at least one lovely lady. The chimera heard a groan. "This better be important!" Greed said in a tone that was softer than his normal, but infinitely more scary. "Please, help my friend. She's a state alchemist!" The Gecko screeches.
Greed sighed, "Well, lead the way I suppose. Dollgeto, come with us, the rest of you can stay here." Greed ordered following the half Gecko out of the bar.
〜The ally way〜
"Oh!" The dog chimera exclaimed, looking away. He isn't shocked so much as disgusted. "Orders were shoot to kill." Greed looks at him as I start to come around gripping my wound. I let out a gasp as I shift. "Okay, we're going to play a game. I'll ask you a question, and if the answer is yes make a fist. If no, open your hand. Okay?" I make a fist.
"Alright, let's get started." Greed said crouching down to my level. "Can you walk?" My first flutters open. "Can you talk?" My fist stays open. "Can I move you?" My fist closes half way. "You'll be safe." I close my fist. 'Not with those military monsters out there.' I think to myself. He nods. "I can keep you safe." He offers, like someone giving their hand to a dog to sniff, so it doesn't bite. I wait a second before reopening my fist.
"I'm going to have to pick you up." He said looking around before turning his skin into the hard carbon shield famous with greeds name, moving the vines out of his way, and picking me up bridal style. "So, doll, have a name?" He asked before he realized I had either fallen asleep, or had passed out from pain. Neither of us were entirely sure.
〜10 minutes later at the devil's nest〜
The Gecko man walked through the door, then Greed with me in his arms, and finally Dollgeto. Greed 'summoned' them all to the basement of the bar. "What's going on?" Kimblee, the most disobedient asks until he sees me. "Anna?" Kimblee asked. "Stitch me up, will ya?" I ask drously, with a small smirk. He takes me out of Greed's hands and lays me on the coffee table, sitting down to start stitching me up. "Careful." I say. "Bullets in my back."
He quickly and carefully removes the bullet, and then starts stitching me up. I don't flinch in the entirety of the process. "Solf, we need to have a quick conversation." He doesn't look at me knowing what this will be about. "The military said you were dead." I state a fact. "Well the military said a lot of dam things." I steal a glance of Kimblee's face, trying to get the truth, and I have it right their plain as day. "How long have you been out?" I ask sitting up with ease, putting the shirt Solf took off to patch up my wound. "A month."
And then it comes. A loud pop sound. Kimblee's face wore remorse furthering everyone's shock. "Did you just slap him?" Greed ask laughing. I scratch my cheek with my thumb nail. "Yes." My gaze changes to Solf. "You're not welcome around Sebastian, or Esmeralda anymore." I inform him coldly. His eyes widened. "You can't do that!" He said quietly, but fiercely. "Watch me."
"What do I owe for the stitches and knowing where your 'secret' hideout is?" I ask Greed. "How about some information?" He asked with a shrug. "Depends on the questions." He nodded. "Why were those men chasing you?" I rolled my eyes. "I was investigating the death of a military marshal officer, good guy, when I found out some information. I'm guessing it's what got him killed. So I confronted someone with it, and now there are orders coming down from the top, shoot to kill." I say guessing he knew the secret from the tattoo on his hand.
"So can you tell me what that secret is?" Greed asked. "Hmm." I hums thinning my lips. "How much?" Kimblee asked with an eye roll. "Oh, you know the usual. Come on Solf, if I'm being this screative, you gotta know it's good." Kimblee sighed and relaxed back into the couch. "I don't have it." He said tiredly. I bit the inside of my cheek. "Not my problem." I said pretending I was unfazed, and I did a convincing job of it. "Come on Solf, girls gotta get by." I said with a smile. "I told you, I. Don't. Have. It." He stated word for word. "Fine, fine. Still not gonna tell ya'." I said crossing my legs, making a hiss noise. "Damned stitches." I complained, putting a hand on my back where I was shot. "So, anything else I can do for you?" I asked Greed. "Why don't you join my group here?" Greed gestures around the room.
"I mean you'd be safe rolling with me, and you could make amends with your brother." Greed says trying to hook me, "I mean working for me is nothing like working for the military, if you go out, let me know, so I know when to send out a search party." Greed had to retain a smirk as he spoke. "I'm going to have to pass." I shoot Kimblee a dirty look, "Oh, and my brother is getting ready to sell you out, thought you should know."
My older brother sighes, "Stop talking out your ass, little fool." I smiled at him. "Right. Because you weren't talking to Archer. Cho." I say standing up to walk out. "Hey Anna." My brother called me, and in turn, I turned around to look at him. "I hate you." I smile at him, and continue on my way to the door. "Hate you to Solf." I say walking out of the bar for now.
〜Devils Nest〜
"So, what's this talk of betrayal she was talking about?" Greed asked when he cornered Kimblee. "I had to sweet talk my way out of getting taken back in. I wasn't going to betray you." Kimblee says with a good fake offence. There's a knock on the bar door, "We are not done talking about this. You will tell me what you did." Greeds face marked with anger softens to his business one as he opens the door to see me there.
"Oh come on." Greed says in protest. "You don't have to let me in your home." I say with the voice I'd use on a child. "You just have to let my brother out." I give Greed a small smile, my tone was high, but quite, and my features look different now I wasn't covered in blood. My skin white, probably still pale due to my 'not quite' full recovery. My eyes were bright baby blue. I had the black hair, like my brothers, now slightly tinted red as the blood had stained my haid.
I had also, in the ten minutes it took me to leave and come back, changed my clothes. Today I wore my favorite blue dress. It was knee length, and until the waist was a tight fit. The sleeves were an inch and a half from my shoulders, and it was all one color. The dress was accompanied by a pair of white flats. "Don't do that." Greed commands. I drop the act. "I was being quite nice if you ask me. I have two children with me, give me my brother and I'll be on my way. Then for the next hour, you'll have two Kimblees out your already messed up hair." I say buntly.
Greed sighed and rolled his eyes. "Fine. Bring him back in one piece." I shrug, "Sis who's that?" A voice asks from around the corner of the door. "No one, now why don't you go see our brother." I tell him to bring him into view. Kimblee puts on a smile and gave a sweet voice, "Now how are you, little man." He asked walking away from Greed. "Big Brother!" Sebastion said as he ran up to Kimblee. "Who's this?" Greed askes, "My little brother." Kimblee replies, using a tone he would only use when he was around his little brother and niece. "Thought you said I couldn't see them?" He asked me. "Your name slipped, and they wanted to see you. You know I can never say no." Esmerlda was six, going on seven, and Sebastion was 10 going on 11.
"There the reason I wouldn't betray you. The likelihood of you going after then increases tenfold. And if not you," He points to the basement, "Then them. The last of them are kids, and a woman, but after I killed my parents, well let's just say it was just-" There was someone obviously crying. "Esmeralda Lynn Elric!" I say irritably. "Stop." I tell her.
"Thought you couldn't say no." I roll my eyes as my brother speaks. "Don't make me be mean Solf." I tell him to bring Esmeralda around. "Say hi to uncle Solf. You haven't met him yet, have you?" I asked her, and as expected, she shook her head no. "No ma'am." Esmerlda said sticking her hand out to shake Kimblees. "Nice to meet you Uncle Kimblee." He politely took her hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you too Esmeralda. I've heard a lot about you." He said a genuine smile on his lips.
After the quick introduction Esmerlda hides behind me when she sees Greed. "Forgive her, she's quite shy until she warms up to you."
