Miles "Tails" Prower, a.k.a 'The Flying Fox' is the best friend and sidekick of Sonic the Hedgeghog. He is able to use his twin-tails to fly by rotating them like helicopter rotors and is a mechanic genius and aerial pilot. Tails is one of the most iconic heroes on the planet Mobius and gained his long awaited self-sufficient and independant courage after he defeated Slice the Hedgehog in one-on-one combat when the Mobian Heroes responded to Dr Andrak's attack on Metropolis and Sonic and Skor were elsewhere. He, along with others, simultaneously embody the mechanisation of modern war and a romanticised version of war with their individual skill and heroism.
