Narcissa walked into the nursery slowly as not to wake all the sleeping babies they held her young little boy just around seventeen months old as they walked over to the crib labeled baby potter Narcissa had always wanted to be foster parents because she was unable to have another baby and She desperately wanted someone for Draco to be able to play with but she could only foster not adopt because she was recently divorced her and Lucius Malfoy had been part of an arranged marriage at only the age of eighteen she had had a baby boy six years later not for lack of trying of course she new the only way out of a pureblood marriage was to have an Heir to the throne of the Malfoy family she didn't expect to fall in love with her baby boy but she new she could never leave him with Lucius and had to wait till the dark lord's downfall luckily that was sooner than she could have imagined thanks to this little boy sleeping peacefully right in front of her he was the sole reason she and her little dragon would be able to live a happy life together she loved Draco more than anything so she had turned Lucius over to the ministry for a trial and he was given three life sentences in Azkaban and all of his money was given over to her and Draco she new that while she could not adopt this baby boy she could give him the best life possible she already had Remus lupin and Sirius Black (her cousin) living with her and Sirius was his rightful godfather but knew he couldn't give Harry what he needed that's where Narcissa came into play he had begged her to give Harry the life he would never be able to and she agreed simple as that Narcissa new the dark lord was not gone and she was well aware that the poor boy would have to fight him again at some point but that was not the issue right now the issue was finding a family for the poor boy and giving him a home.

Draco was calm as ever just resting on her shoulder as he watched the tiny little boy that's when the lady came over and introduced herself as Mrs Jamison

Actually it's Ms Black I recently divorced my husband after his not so stellar life choices she laughed a tiny bit at her not so funny joke

No of course not I'm sure he won't mind one of the sweetest boys I've ever met if I do say so myself but I must warn you terrible nightmares that one I had I to move him to another room for a while kept waking up the other children

Poor baby Narcissa cood in a soft motherly voice she used with Draco

Hearing his mother's voice Draco began to stir "mama"

he whispered softly "here are" he asked slowly drowsy from sleep

Draco was a very bright boy and at only seventeen months could talk pretty well not a hundred percent understandable always but you could tend to understand what he was saying

We've come to get baby Harry she whispered back to him

"Baby Harry" he said back to her

Yes baby Harry

Draco clapped his hands profusely while saying yay yay yay baby Harry over and over again till his mother shushed him with a finger over his lips

The lady picked up the Potter boy and he immediately started crying which startled Draco so he started crying too

Shh shh baby Narcissa said to Draco it's ok Harry's just a little scared

Harry continued to cry till Narcissa asked to hold him he stopped crying a soon as he was in her arms

With both babies on her shoulders she filled out the paperwork and grabbed his one blanket a pair of clothes she left still carrying both children they had fallen asleep by now so Narcissa apparated back to the black family home where Remus and Sirius were waiting excitedly by the door as soon as Narcissa put Draco down Harry woke immediately and started sobbing Narcissa rubbed his back unaware that he wanted Draco. Draco too began sobbing and Narcissa once again assumed he was startled by Harry's abrupt crying then Sirius who had a puzzled look on his face just a moment ago said put Harry next to Draco please Cissy she looked at him incredulously then set Harry down almost immediately the crying stopped and they were just looking at each other with big wide eyes Draco stood up on his cubby legs and wobbled over to Harry who couldn't walk yet and was looking like he would fall over at any second the Remus and Cissy shared a confused look but Sirius had a huge smile on his face and started clapping his hands the baby's looked at him with huge round eyes then started giggling Harry fell over immediately Draco got really panicked and started crying and pointing at Harry then Harry started sobbing with him but as soon a Sirius picked him up with a extra big smile Draco gave Harry a big slobbery kiss on the mouth and started giggling uncontrollably so did Harry Sirius couldn't take it anymore he fell to the floor and started rolling with laughter Cissy looked at Sirius and said are we missing something pointing a finger between her and Remus no no nothing Sirius said but I think we have two little soul mates on our hands Narcissa gasped but but how she whispered we'll look at them Sirius responded we'll be able to tell more in the future when their magic starts to show more but for now I can just feel the power in the room don't you feel it too he asked looking pointedly at Cissy and Remus they looked at Sirius for a while then let their own magic feel around the room as soon as they reached the place the boys were sitting their reaction was priceless Remus started blinking real fast while Cissy's jaw dropped she had always known Draco would come into his Veela inheritance as both she and Lucius were skipped over by the gene but she never expected to find his mate so early it was rare for one to find theirs until their sixteenth birthday when the Veela emerges that must be what Sirius meant by they will know for sure later on Cissy looked at her little boy with only love in her heart she was so glad that little Harry had survived
