Luna Loud sat with her girlfriend, Sam, under the spotlight in a small club outside of Royal Woods. Luna was playing guitar, while Sam was singing. All of the patrons loved the duo's work together. In fact, they were the most popular player, singer, duo in town!

Luna's brother, Lincoln, however wasn't. he always tried to learn to little avail. His playing was awful, and off key. "He couldn't keep a rhythm to save his life!" his friend, Rusty Spokes, would remark.

He would regularly borrow Luna's guitar and try playing deep into the night, much to the dismay of his sisters, especially Luna. He would always return the guitar untuned and sometimes scratched.

He would follow her to her meet ups with her friends and beg them for lessons, and a concerts he would take one of the guitars and try to play for the crowd, much to the bands, the crowds and Luna's annoyance.

He was relentless, he was obsessed, he was borderline insane trying to learn. He became more irritable and would lash out to the slightest things. Though her band would always tell Luna not to stop lincoln as "the little dude has potential!" Mazzy would say.

However, one night, around six months ago, Luna got into a heated argument with Lincoln after he broke a guitar string while practicing with her guitar. This argument grew to a fight between her and her brother, and the last thing he told her before walking out of the house was... "One day, you're gonna fuckin' regret doubting me, Luna Loud!" She had thought about that night and those last words every day since.

The door of the club opened, and a man wearing an old grey fedora walked in with a guitar case. Sam looked up and her eyes went wide as the man took off his hat to reveal his snow white hair. "Luna, look..."

Luna looked up, seeing none other then Lincoln Loud wearing a dark and somewhat filthy 3 piece seersucker suit walking up to the stage. He turned and looked to Luna, a scar across his left eye and five O'clock shadow beginning to show. "This your rest time?"

Luna and Sam stumbled over their words, here was Lincoln loud, no hello, no politeness. His voice was grated and low, as if he had done nothing but smoked unfiltered cigarettes continuously since the night he left. "Y-yeah... what are you doing with that guitar? Here to annoy us to death?"

Lincoln grinned wickedly as he chuckled. "You'll see." He made his way to the stage, shoving Sam's seat out of the way, and sat down. He opened the guitar case, and pulled out an orange guitar and an hourglass filled with crimson red sand. He cracked his knuckles before began to play...

Luna chuckled as she expected lincoln to make a fool of himself. "He's gonna suck like always..." she stopped when the first bars of a blues riff echoed from around the club, it was... amazing. Lincoln closed his eyes and nodded to the cords, only using the tips of his fingers, he began playing that odd guitar like he'd been playing for a lifetime.

After a few minutes, Lincoln stopped, leaning to the microphone "I call that Roadhouse Blues." The club erupted into claps and cheers, several people ran to the stage asking for his name and for another tune. After a moment of basking in glory and attention, Lincoln straightened his tie and smirked "Y'all can call me Frosty Top."

Luna waded to the front of the crowd as Lincoln began to strum another tune. She could have sworn she seen a pair of horns in Lincoln's shadow, that could've just been his cowlick, but how did he learn to play like that so fast? She stared at her brother as he smiled.

She looked to Sam who had been enthralled by Lincoln's guitar playing and spoke. "This isn't right, Sam. Lincoln shouldn't be able to play like this, no one is better then me!" Sam looked to her lover and shrugged. "Maybe lincoln inherited the same talent as you."

Luna didn't like this at all. She was the musically talented one in the family! Not lincoln! She stared as 'Frosty Top' began signing autographs. She turned to Sam and sighed "Let's get out of here". The two left as Lincoln smiled "Told ya you'd regret doubtin' me." he chuckled dubiously underneath his breath.
