Chief Bogo is having the worst time of his life. Ever since an outbreak occurred around the world and it's from a new virus called Covid-19, every animal in the world has to stay indoors, mostly their homes, to keep themselves safe. At least there is an enhanced quarantine to combat the virus, helping those who were infected.
The chief himself... is not so lucky.
In fact, he is one of those people who contracted the virus, and that those who were infected have to stay at Cliffside Asylum.
"Hi, chief..." Judy came to his cell to visit him, and she has Nick to accompany her.
"What do you two want?" Bogo asked, looking depressed in his eyes.
"Just wanna see how you're doing is all," Nick responded happily. Despite the outbreak, he is still as positive as ever, and Judy felt the same.
"I'm fine, thank you for asking," the chief said. "Anyway, how are two doing as police officers?"
"Fine, chief. Nick and I always have our masks on to keep ourselves safe from the virus," Judy replied.
"We patrol the streets and make sure everyone is safe," Nick added. "Heck, we gave them masks if they don't have any. Just trying to keep up with the enhanced quarantine."
"Good for you..." Bogo smiled. "It's not my place say this but... I'm proud with you two for trying to keep animalkind healthy from this outbreak, trying to keep everyone alive."
"But you're infected, chief," Judy mused sadly.
"Don't worry, Judy. I'll be fine. I'm still alive, aren't I? I haven't showed much symptoms, and I passed the two-week quarantine period. I'm gonna be fine, I promise you both," Bogo reassured them.
"Yeah, you'll be fine, chief," Nick agreed with him.
After their visit, the chief is seen with a smile on his, having found faith that he will survive this disease.
Author's Note: My first fanfic related to Covid-19. It shows the cruel irony that Idris Elba, the actor who voiced Chief Bogo, is one of the celebrities who contracted the virus.
