Introduction
Welcome to the 75th Hunger Games, the 3rd Quarter Quell. The twist for this Hunger Games is that the tributes can be the same gender, because of this there will only be a single glass bowl for the reaping. Happy Hunger Games, and may the odds be ever in your favor.
Chapter 1 : The Reaping Districts 1 - 4
District 1 (Career, Luxury) :
Piper (16) stood strong and tall. She had trained all her life for this. She wanted to get in. Her heart was racing this was her chance. Her dad, Tristan McLean was in the 52nd hunger games and won when he was just 12 now he was 47 and he is still the most well known tribute in Panem.
The district escort Ares dug their hand into the single bowl. They shuffled their hand around. They closed their hands on a piece of paper. The escort read out merrily "Valencia Gaol". Valencia strutted up to the podium with a grin as great as the Cheshire cats. Piper thought "She doesn't even look fit for the games, i'm volunteering". Piper exclaimed "I VOLUNTEER AS A TRIBUTE". Piper was so excited to be on the podium her smile could have been bigger than the sun.
The escort Ares put their hand in for the second draw but Piper didn't care because she was in the games, IN THE GAMES. The escort pulled out the name and announced the name "James Hutchlow". Mitchell Blake though was 18 and wanted to be in the games desperately because this was his last reaping, so he shouted "I VOLUNTEER AS A TRIBUTE". Mitchell strides to the podium in thrill.
Mitchell was big, buff and strong. Now Piper was doubting her chances of winning. Only one person came out alive.
District 2 (Career, Masonry) :
The escort Apollo put their hand into the bowl. This was the moment. Hazel (15) had to be picked.
Hazel's mother had told her into the morning that people in the future didn't want to be reaped. Hazel was horrified, this was the biggest reward you could get and if you won you were amazing.
This year Hazel put in tesserae as many times as she could so she could make it into the games. Now the reaping was happening.
Apollo pulled his hand out of the bowl and announced "Hazel Levesque". Hazel was the female tribute that was allowed to volunteer so no one would volunteer for her. When Hazel got up to the podium she looked around with a tough look, so no one would volunteer for her.
Apollo put his hand in for the second draw. The escort announced happily "Graham Moroboliw". Sherman (18) shouted "I VOLUNTEER AS A TRIBUTE" then ran up to the podium in excitement.
District 3 (Technology) :
This was the day of the reaping. Lou-Ellen Blackstone (14) had tesserae in for 6 people so her name was in there 18 times.
District 4 (Career, Fishing) :
