Lucy POV
I sat alone in the guild working on my latest book. It was slow going and I have a little writer's block right now.
It didn't help that I felt a little lonely. My husband Natsu had taken our kids out on a special mission refusing to let me come along. I knew why. Mother's Day was coming up they must be playing something
"That Natsu so predictable," I couldn't help but laugh to myself.
As I continued to laugh at my husband expense I heard footsteps approach me from behind. Turning to greet the newcomer I was met with the familiar sight of the sky Dragon slayer all grown up (picture edolas Wendy).
I couldn't help but smile at the girl who was like a sister to me as I greeted, "Wendy good morning."
Wendy POV
"Wendy Good Morning."
I couldn't help but smile at the greeting as I said in return, "Good Morning Lucy."
The blonde returned my smile and motion for me to take a seat. Happy to oblige I took the seat next to her.
Noting the papers played across the table I questioned, "What are you working on Lucy?"
The blonde was quick to respond "It's my latest book," hearing this my interest grew.
"Really how's it coming" upon my question Lucy faltered.
"Not well I'm afraid I'm having a bit of a writer's block," she replied.
"Really that's not good."
The blonde agreed before placing her pencil down, "Yeah no kidding. So what's been happening with you Wendy."
I couldn't help but sigh, "Nothing really aside from the fact that it's our anniversary today."
Lucy visibly brightened as she replied, "Oh congrats Wendy so what are you and Romeo going to do."
A small smile crossed my face as I said, "Well we had plans for a special date today but I'm not sure it will work out."
A concerned expression covered her face. She questioned, "Really how come?"
Another sigh escaped me, "Takara babysitter had to cancel and we can't seem to find another."
Lucy POV
After Wendy told me of her plight I couldn't help but feel bad for the girl. I could just tell how much she was looking forward to this. After all Natsu and I had similar experiences in the past. While we love Nashi and Igneel to death it a nice to just be alone every now and then.
I moved to comfort her when I felt a light bulb go off. Jumping to my feet I grab the girl and pulled her up with me.
"How about I babysit for you?" I queried.
A surprised look covered her entire face she returned, "Are you sure Lucy-san what about Nashi and Igneel?"
A confident smile crossed my face as I answered, "Don't you worry about them okay there with their dad on a mission. They won't be back till tomorrow."
A hesitant look crossed her face as she glanced to the side continued, "Are you sure I mean you said you were working on your book?"
I said placing my hands on the girl's shoulder I turned her to face me, "Don't worry about that I wasn't getting anywhere anyway."
Starring in her eyes I saw the hesitant look shift to confident one into a confident one.
She said, "Alright if you're sure thank you Lucy-san."
Letting her go I gave her a big smile saying, "Don't worry about it your welcome."
Looks like I won't be so lonely tonight after all. I couldn't help but think to myself.

Lucy's House
We find Lucy anxiously awaiting the arrival of her guests. After spending a few hours finishing her preparations before long the sound of the doorbell rang across the house.
This caused Lucy to eagerly leap from her sit and making her way to the door and opening it with an eager smile.
"Wendy, Romeo Welcome" she greeted smiling at them.
She took note of the sleeping buddle of cloths in Romeo's arms. Wendy smiles at her friend before bowing her head.
"Thank You Lucy-san for doing this again."
Lucy blushed at the thanks before rubbing the back of her neck. She replied, "It's nothing Wendy Its honestly a pleasure with Natsu and the kids out I couldn't be happier for the company."
Romeo smiled at the blonde as he said, " Well that's good to hear but as Wendy said seriously thanks for watching her."
Lucy nodded as she said, "Of Course you two now shouldn't you two be off."
The two nodded and Wendy moved to gently shake the girl in Romeo's arms.
"Takara Dear Wake Up," she said as the gently shakes the girl awake. Soon rose from her slumber rise her head to stare into her mother eyes
"Are wee at Aunty Lucy place?" She queried.
The paired nodded at the girl before nudging her to look behind her. She came to stare at Lucy who offered the girl a smile before holding out her arms for the girl to take. Takara sleepily fell into Lucy's arms before nuzzling the woman's chest falling back into a quick sleep.
"Take Care Lucy Be a Good Girl Takara," called Wendy as she and Romeo began to depart with Lucy waving them goodbye.

Later
We find Romeo and Wendy making their way to Lucy doorstep. After spending a few hours enjoying each other company the couple had spent a nice time talking over dinner and browsing a couple of stores.
Now it was time to pick up Takara thou while both thoroughly enjoyed there night. They were both eager to return home with their daughter. Upon arriving at the door Romeo gently rang the doorbell.
After a few minutes, though there wasn't a sound, a brief flash of worry crossed the pair. As Romeo pushed a little harder against the doorbell with Wendy knocking on the door slightly only for it to open with a gentle nudge.
Peaking inside the house the two noticed a light on in the distance. Hesitantly the two shared a look before making their way inside walking towards the light. As they arrived at the door as light seeped beneath the door sharing one last look the two cautiously pushed open the door. Only for their eyes to widen as they came upon the sight before them.
"Lucy!"

Lucy Pov
I was sitting in the backroom smiling ear to ear as Takara modeled yet another outfit for me. This one a simple knee-length red dress with a floral pattern decorating the end it was an outfit. I bought for Nashi when she was younger but she hardly if ever worn it she wasn't much for dress up.
I couldn't help but squeal, "Oh My God, You are just the cutest thing."
Pulling her into a big hug as I continued to hug her I heard to voice call out, "Lucy!"
Turning my head to the source of the voices only to seeing Romeo and Wendy staring gobsmacked back at me.
She questioned, "Hey guys how was your night?"
I smiled at them the two visibly took a step back saying.
"Never mind that what happens here?" spoke Romeo gesturing to the room.
Taking a moment to glance around the room noticing the mess as Takara left my arms to greet her parents. There were clothes and outfits thrown about hanging from chairs while some laid in a mountain in the corner. As I took more of the mess in, I couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed.
"Well, you see Takara was just so cute that I couldn't help but get a little carried away."

Wendy Pov
As we look in on the scene before us with the clothes covering the room I couldn't help but let a sigh of relieve out as I saw that both of them were safe "Takara was just so cute that I couldn't help but get a little carried away" as I heard Lucy explanation I start to remember a few memories from my younger days flashes through my mind.
"Come on Wendy. Try this one. Now."
A Younger Wendy found herself cornered by Lucy holding an armful of clothes.
"You're so cute!"
"Here. Try this one."
As memories cycled through my head. I couldn't help but laugh with a smile covering my face as I locked my eyes with Lucy's.
"You haven't Change Lucy."
The blonde gasped before returning the smile "What's that supposed to mean, Wendy."
