Disclaimer: You know by now.
AN: This was inspired by a clip I saw of Reflektadoll earlier and is ANOTHER response to Scts Friendship challenge.
"Thanks Juleka," Marinette said as the two girls walked home from their latest photoshoot. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. Perfect, Marinette had insisted, for Juleka to model her latest designs. "I couldn't have done this without you."
Juleka smiled.
"Thank you. For giving me another chance after what happened last time," she said and Marinette waved it off.
"You had stage fright. It happens to everyone I bet! Well everyone except Adrien of course! He's probably perfect. Well maybe not always perfect, but I'm sure that it happened," Juleka's chuckle brought Marinette's rambling to a swift halt. "You did really well today!"
Juleka blushed and the two girls continued walking in companionable silence for a while.
"You know, it's a really great design," Juleka said after a while. "It's really cool, with the gothic black roses that really work."
"Well…" Marinette looked embarassed. "I was inspired by looking at you and Rose."
"Really?" Juleka asked, her face lighting up.
"Well yes," Marinette said sheepishly. "You both have a great style together and I wanted to capture it and...well it just spoke to me."
"Rose is going to be so happy when she hears that!" Juleka said with a smile and Marinette looked nervously at Juleka.
"You're not mad about me using you and your girlfriend as inspiration?" she asked and Juleka shook her head.
"Are you kidding? That's awesome!" Juleka said enthusiastically. "I wish she could be here to hear it in person."
"Yeah, Alya's still pretty sick as well," Marinette said with a shake of her head. "And Adrien. And Nino. And Sabrina."
"Did you see how Chloe was when she discovered that she'd have to actually DO her own homework for a change?" Juleka asked with a chuckle. Marinette burst out laughing.
"Oh I wish I'd caught that on camera!" she said, still laughing. "That was priceless."
"Alya would never have let her live it down," Juleka added in a perfectly serious voice and Marinette laughed even harder, barely able to walk straight as she clutched her sides.
As the two girls finally neared the Bakery, Marinette and Juleka parted ways with a swift goodbye.
