Naruto Movie the Lost Shinobi
Chapter 1 Rena Hollowshade
A woman with jet black hair wearing a black hooded cloak approached Rena Hollowshade who was meditating in her dark room only lit by one candle as she heard the door slide open then closed again, she opened one eye to see a hooded figure standing in front of her.
"Is there any reason your interrupting my meditation?" Rena questioned coldly.
"My apologies Rena sensei, I came from the Village Hidden in the Mist with the intel you asked me to obtain" the woman bowed before sitting down.
"What did you find out?" Rena asked.
"It seems that your suspicions were right, a lost shinobi left a scroll that holds power in its anyone possession. I had to get away before I was spotted Rena sensei" she explained.
Rena exchanged a devilish smile of approval of her student for obtaining some information, she walked over to the hooded woman and removed the hood to reveal her face.
"You did a wonderful job Sarafina" Rena praised.
Sarafina smiled at her sensei for doing a good job and getting praised for it. Rena stroked her cheeks that were still warm, even though it was cold outside but Rena didn't care. She dismissed her student before sitting back down, lighting another candle and meditating but this time with a smirk across her face.
Soon that scroll will be mine Rena thought as she breathed sharply.
The village hidden in the leaves or Konoha for short, was quiet except for town folk getting supplies for use in any way they can find. Rita Uzumaki jumped from pillar to pillar with a satchel that had something important that must be delivered without screwing around, or stopping for anything. She knew how important this delivery was, but something bothered the daughter of a Nine Tails.
I feel a strange presence, I wonder if it has to do with Dad's disappearance Rita thought.
That weight kept echoing in her mind, after the 4th Great Ninja War, Naruto was nowhere to be found. Skeptics assumed that he perished but that wasn't the case.
"I will find out what happened to you Dad" Rita proclaimed.
She landed in the square near the Hokage Office which loomed above the village but not above the face statues, Rita spotted her grandfather Minata Kamikaze's face there. Seeing that made the young Uzumaki hopeful, she walked inside and politely knocked on the door.
"Come in" a voice called out.
Rita came in and to her surprise she saw a girl wearing a black hoodie with her jet-black hair in a ponytail and a man about in his early adulthood with slightly greyish hair wearing his normal outfit and a busted-up headband. She looks in front to see Kakashi Hatake sitting in the chair, looking visibly exhausted like something happened and it was out of his hands.
"Kakashi sensei is everything alright?" Rita asked cautiously.
"No, I don't think so Rita, I know you want your father found but scouts have told me that he's been covering his tracks so finding him has been near to impossible" Kakashi explained calmly but firm.
Rita felt her heart sink down to depths that no one ever thought was reachable.
"But we have another issue, that demon Satsuki and her sensei Rena stole some intel about the Lost Shinobi scroll that has some mystical power" the jet-black haired girl spoke up first.
"Oh, Rita this is Ryona and that man standing beside him is Syaki, two graduates of the exams" Kakashi introduced.
"Nice to finally meet you" Ryona said, shaking her hand.
Syaki just stared before leaving the room without saying a word.
"Don't mind him, he's not really a talkative person" Ryona said.
"I can tell" Rita replied, handing Kakashi a rolled up scroll she was supposed to deliver.
"Thank you, Rita, say I know that you can help with the investigation in Naruto's disappearance, what do you say?" Kakashi offered.
Rita's eyes almost lit up when Kakashi offered her a chance to want to find her father, so without any hesitation she nodded in response, which made Kakashi very happy so much that he got up from his chair and hugged her tightly. The warm feeling was the hope Rita needed after this war putting everyone in Konoha on edge, she could feel hope pouring in as Kakashi let her go.
"Your father would be so proud of you if he was here" Kakashi said, flashing a smile under her mask.
"He would be" Rita responded, wiping away any tears.
Ryona and Syaki stood by the door, watching the exchange hug between Kakashi and Rita before she stepped out of the office with both of them following suite. Syaki was a silent boy with a deep scar on his neck from some kind of accident that involved a fight with rival ninja in the war but he had some hidden talent he didn't want anyone to know at least not now but at the very least when the time was right to reveal it.
"So, you're the daughter of Naruto Uzumaki, the hero of the Hidden Leaf Village?" Ryona asked.
Rita nodded, "Yep, what about you? Isn't your last name Uchiha or something?" she asked curiously.
Ryona nodded her head in agreement at the question, revealing one eye with the Sharingan which shocked Rita because she has never seen an Uchiha with only one eye with the famous Sharingan especially her father's friend/rival Sasuke Uchiha, so this was both amazing and a bit frightening.
"Were you cursed?" Rita asked concerned.
"No, I was just born with the Sharingan on one eye" Ryona explained, pointing to her right eye.
"Oh okay, that's still a bit strange" Rita replied.
"Meh, I learned to live with it and over time I was okay with this, I was just one hell of a fighter from what other people have said about me" Ryona said smiling a little.
Syaki looked over at the two girls chatting about Ryona's Sharingan and kept walking to the front gates of Konoha with the two girls catching up to him. He stood with his head up high, watching a bird teaching her chicks to fly.
"Syaki you okay?" Rita questioned.
He gave Rita an annoyed look on his face before walking away from her in a scoff.
"Was it something I said?" Rita asked.
"No, he's just not a people person as all. Don't worry about it too much" Ryona replied reassuring Rita.
Rita still felt like she did something wrong but thanks to Ryona's kind words, it did make her feel better. The three of them followed the path or the last reported trail Naruto left behind.
I'm coming father Rita was determined to find her father with her new found companions in Ryona and Syaki.
Meanwhile, Sarafina drained the life of a scout during a little scuffle before walking over a path to see a make shift tent in the trenches below.
What a peculiar place to set up camp Sarafina pondered.
She cautiously walked down to where the tent was, looking at it could tell that it was small and compact for one person but something else caught Sarafina's eye was a orange and black jacket and a Hidden Leaf headband.
"Wait this belongs to-"
A kunai grazed Sara's face, leaving a sharp cut on her left cheek which bled to her shock. She looked over her shoulder to see Naruto sporting a beard with unkempt hair, he looked pissed off at the intruder who was in his turf.
"You know I was your friend once or did you forget about that Naruto?" Sarafina questioned, activating her Sharingan.
He didn't say anything but rushed Sarafina with a straight right punch tp her stomach, sending the Uchiha flying until she hit a tree back first and landing on the ground below. Naruto picked up Sarafina off the ground and placed her back on the path then going back to his tent.
A few moments later, Rena walked over to the path to see Naruto and an unconscious Sarafina. A sly smirk spread across the sadistic demon as Naruto tossed her student's body towards Rena.
"I see that age has fared you well Naruto" Rena started.
All Naruto did was stare a hole into Rena before flipping her off, showing what he really thinks of her.
"Funny how you're attitude towards me hasn't changed one bit, at least after I killed Hinata during the 4th Great Ninja War" Rena said smirking.
Naruto clenched his fists in anger until they almost bled, summoning his inner rage as his eyes changed from crystal blue to red splits in a matter of seconds.
"Struck a nerve, didn't I?" Rena questioned.
Naruto jumped and moved from tree to tree until he vanished from view, to the pleasure of Rena getting under his skin like that.
Him and I will have a grand battle very soon Rena smirked as she carried Sarafina on her back.
