Introduction

There was a Khajiit woman named Ja'Neese, lean, curvaceous, and athletic, with yellow slit eyes, long wavy brown hair, and body fur as beige as a lynx, working as a professional thief and deadly assassin.

No one knew for sure where Ja'Neese came from, as tales of her origins varied. Some say she was an orphan who was forced to be a petty thief on the streets, some say she was raised in a brothel, and some say she was born to a nomadic tribe of mercenaries. Even the tales of her skills and training varied, some say she with the Dark Brotherhood, some she with the Thieves' Guild, and some say she was either an agent of the Blades, or an agent of the Thalmor.

Wearing a flexible tight black halter top that was revealing of her cleavage, along with flexible tight black hosens down to her flexible black boots, Ja'Neese armed herself with a pair of ebony daggers, along with a sword based on Akaviri smithing, she either offered her services to anyone willing to pay a price to her liking, whether the cause was for good or evil, or she was out having her own personal quests.

Mission 1: Punishing an Evil Merchant.

Wealth is one thing, power and status is another, many of merchant class become rich, but the merchant class is large step below nobility. Some merchants, no matter how wealthy, cannot become anything higher. This caused many merchants to lust for power that they were officially denied, one of the many Imperial human men named Ertius. Ertius began his career as an honest trader, but before long his rivals started to turn up dead, and Ertius expanded into protection, loan sharking, and gambling. His methods are brutal, his profits fast. If he arrested, Ertius would simply bribe himself free. For these reasons, Ja'Neese was hired to assassinate Ertius, to make him pay for his crime with his life. When the law fails to serve justice, one can buy justice.

The Khajiit woman arrived in a wide alley. She looked up and saw rooftops, and she grapple herself up to the closest one. When she was on top of the structure, she moved herself from rooftop to rooftop, while being quiet and stealthy at the same time. She turned right at the next roof-intersection, and on the other side of this roof she immediately grappled herself onto the next nearest roof, and she continued to stick to the roofs of the places to keep secretive. Ja'Neese continued to make her way up to the northwestern part of the town by jumping between rooftops, until she arrived at the perimeter wall of Ertius's estate.

The Khajiit grappled up to the top of the wall. Once up there, she looked down into the courtyard below and saw a guard patrolling back and forth. When his back is turned, Ja'Neese jumped down and snuck behind the guard, where she put her left hand over the Imperial's mouth and took out her sword before she stabbed the guard in the chest then taking the sword out and sheathing the sword back.

Next, the Khajiit grappled up onto the big house on her right. She was surprised to see three guards having a party beneath her, but she was also delighted spot a key on the floor next to one of them. She dropped down and snuck inside behind the partying guards, where she was able to pick up the key without notice.

Now that Ja'Neese had the key, she grappled back onto the perimeter wall and head to the southeast corner., before she continued on towards the east wall before heading north. She spotted two guards ahead. One was guarding a locked gate, while the other was on the highest lookout point above him. The Khajiit rolled all the way to the end of the wall to remain undetected and turned so that she could see them both while remaining crouched. When she saw her chance, she rolled down and kill the guard beneath her, before she grappled up to the other guard atop the lookout and hang there while she observed his habits. When the time was right, she climbed up and silently killed him too.

Ja'Neese dropped back down in front of the locked gate, using the key to open it. Soon, she was in the interior hallway passage, moving slowly to peek around corners as she made her way through. There was a guard carrying spear around the first corner. The Khajiit observed the Imperial, and when she knew the human won't spot her, she ran to him and put her hand around him and brought her sword up the neck, allowing her to slit the throat whilst pulling the guard away with her left arm then taking a step back.

The Khajiit continued around the next few corners without concern, and at the end she had to drop down to a lowered floor, before going slowly around the next corner where she saw a guard patrolling on the raised floor ahead. While he was walking away, Ja'Neese ran and hung from the wall until she got the timing right to kill him too. Then she headed around the next corner and slowly crept forward while looking up at the next corner for a beam to grapple up to. When she saw the beam, she grappled up to it and looked up to see the opening which led her to the next section of Ertius's courtyard.

The Khajiit observed the patrolling guard up ahead by the small houses. The guard walked all the way to the perimeter of the nearest house. When he began to turn and walk back, Ja'Neese climbed up and ran towards him and slit the Imperial's throat with both of her daggers crossed over each other. Once he was dead, she grappled up to the southwest house and headed over to the northeast house facing the northern courtyard.

Below the Khajiit was a patrolling guard. When she observed him, she jumped down and killed him. Now she headed east over to the dividing wall and grappled up to it and then she jumped onto the roof of the big house, Ertius's house, and headed over to the southern ledge, where she killed the guard at the front door before entering the house. Inside, she leaned against the wall to observe the guard in the next room, before she ran in and killed him when he was walking away. Right in front of him was door that led er it into the long hallway. Ja'Neese immediately turned to a defensive stance. Another human guard appeared from behind the next. Door.

"Well, well, look at what the cat dragged in," he said.

"Move or die. Your choice," she warned.

The guard drew his sword. "Looks like you chose the wrong party to crash!"

The Khajiit and the Imperial clashed, until she used a combo that ended with a shoulder trust and heel kick, knocking him down. He was dead in no time at all once Ja'Neese plunged her blade down his back. Now that that was over, she continued on and immediately headed up the stairs and through the next door. She turned left and peeked around the corner to observe the guard who is walking up and down the hall. When he walked away, he only invited the Khajiit to bring him to his demise. Down the hallway Ja'Neese leaned against the wall on her left and heard laughter.

In the center of the next room, Ertius, a short, fat Imperial in rich green clothes, lifting up a solid jewel that magically illuminated bright and gold. "A magnificent stone," he said. "See how it sparkles?"

The guest who sat at the same table, a short, scrawnier Imperial, looked on. "So that's the stone your father searched for all those years?"

Ertius nodded "Just between you and me, it is known as a Daedra Jewel. Legend says there are two more like it hidden somewhere in Tamriel. He who acquires all three will discover power beyond his wildest dreams."

"Hmmm. Now that is very interesting," the scrawny Imperial responded.

"I can get you all three, you know."

"Huh? Is that a business proposition?"

"Consider it a favor if you will."

Just then, both men were startled as Ja'Neese's voice filled the room, after she somersaulted into the room. "Now let's see. Jewel theft, and Bribery. You two have been bad boys."

Ertius panicked and yelled. "Guards! Guards!"

At this point, several guards entered the room and cat- woman proceeded to kill them one by one in a very graceful and easy looking manner.

Once the guards were dead, Ertius cowardly tried to sneak away. "Well, I really should be getting along."

The scrawny Imperial looked at him in disgust. "Coward!"

Looking away was a bad idea, because Ja'Neese immediately came at the scrawny human and performed a kick with her left leg before she took out her sword and stabbed him though his ribs, followed by another kick to the head that sent him rolling to the floor to lay dead.

The Khajiit soon caught up with Ertius. "There is no place for you to hide, Ertius. You've upset some, and they want you out of the way."

Ertius started begging for his life. "Please! Please! Don't kill me!"

The cat-woman chuckled. "Well, if you give me that stone you have, I will consider it."

"Of course, I will give you the stone. Here, take it!" he gave the Daedra Jewel without hesitation.

"Thank you," she happily accepted the gift, before she took out her sword and slashes her target, and before she turned her back to him while he was falling to the ground. Once she sheathed her sword, she lifted the magic stone in her hand with her eyes sparkling in delight. "Hmm. It looks like I'll be doing some treasure hunting, after I get my payment."

And with that, the Khajiit snuck her way out and into the shadows of the night. Her mission was accomplished.
