Sasaki Mirai was on his way to work, much earlier than usual. Being the sidekick of Japan's number one Pro hero was a pain sometimes. Sasaki was the sidekick Sir Nighteye with the quirk foresight, giving him the ability to look into the future after maintaining physical contact and eye contact. It was useful, yet, he could only use it once in 24-hour intervals, and he still had around 6 hours until he could use his quirk again. So, he was rather confused about why All Might had called him in this early...knowing him, Sasaki could only assume the hero had done a load of jobs that night and required help doing the paperwork- One of the man's weaknesses. Sasaki sighed, making a mental note to try and get All Might to do his own paperwork. He loved working for the man… but one day he wanted to be a hero in his own right, and when that day came, he couldn't do that hero's paperwork as he is now.

Sasaki could find a reason to be thankful, around this time, there were hardly any people out and about, meaning he could avoid all those questions about what it was like working for All Might. It was always about All Might. Sasaki thought, one day he would love even one fan to ask his name. But for now, that was just wishful thinking.

He reached All Might's large agency, nodding to the receptionist in greeting and heading straight up to All Might's office. Now, He liked to think he knew All Might well enough, as his sidekick and as his friend. But to find All Might, Gran Torino and a baby waiting for him the office was honestly something he could have never imagined.

"Good morning?" Sasaki said, slowly and voice filled with confusion. "You called me in?"

"Yes, we have been left with a little issue of yours." Torino folded his arms, Sasaki frowned and looked at the baby.

"The Baby?"

"That is not just a baby, it's your son," Torino told him, Sasaki froze. His mind processing his words.

"WHAT?!" He practically yelled All Might hushed him.

"You'll wake him up!" All Might told him, Sasaki sighed and rubbed his forehead, this whole day was going to be a headache, he just knew it.

"Just… your's going to have to explain a bit more." Sasaki sighed

"One of the security guards found him at the entrance last night, thankfully it seems he was found shortly after he was dropped off." All Might said

"It's bad enough he was abandoned here, but whoever the boy's mother was, didn't even bother to wrap him up properly, or even try to alert someone. Just dumped him and ran." Torino fumed. Sasaki got closer to look at the child. The baby boy, now carefully wrapped up in a blanket he was sure they only got yesterday as an example of new merchandise, the child had soft green curls and cheeks filled with freckles.

"Okay… but still, how does that prove he's my son?"

"Well, aside from the kid looking like you a bit, this was left with him. You might want to read it." Torino handed him a small note.

To Nighteye

Thanks for ruining my life for nine months.

This is your son.

He's your problem now, deal with it…

Ps. His name is Izuku.

"Izuku…" Sasaki muttered. Sasaki Izuku . His mind supplied.

"So.., care to explain?" Torino asked as if he were to magically remember everything that would answer why he had a son now.

"Nine months… I can just about remember four months, five if I am lucky. I can't remember doing anything that could have resulted in…" Sasaki motioned at the child "This"

"Wait! Didn't the three of us go out drinking around that time?" All Might asked

"Um… yeah, we did. It was just after we completed an important case, we went out to celebrate… but I don't remember anything else from that night…" Sasaki rubbed the back of his head.

"Well, I remember you and this idiot." Torino pointed at All Might, who gave him an insulted look. "Got wasted, but you disappeared halfway through the night. We didn't see you until the next morning."

"I recall waking up back in my apartment. I had one of the worst hangovers in my life, but I figured that I was able to shamble my way home." Sasaki said

"Well, it seemed you didn't go alone," Torino said. Sasaki looked at the child sadly, he somehow dragged the little guy into a bit of trouble...

"So… what do you want to do?" All Might asked

"I-I don't know…" Sasaki sighed. "I know if I put him up for adoption, he will likely be adopted very quickly…"

"Yeah, the kid is just too cute to be real," All Might muttered and proceeded to poke the baby's cheek. Izuku's face scrunched up as if he was about to cry and the trio froze, waiting for hell to break loose. Instead, Izuku just yawned and continued to sleep. The heroes sighed.

"But… I have no idea how to look after a child, I'm only 22." Sasaki sighed. "I… I don't think I could give him the love he needs…"

"You know if you decide to raise him, you would have us to help you right?" All Might said, "It would be fun to have a nephew to spoil…" He smiled at the child.

"I wouldn't want to be a burden on you, hell you taking me as a sidekick is enough" Sasaki looked to his son "I know my parents are a no go, they barely gave me the time of day as it is, I doubt their personality will have changed that much in the last few years, even after learning they have a grandson," Sasaki mumbled, "Granted, I'm still wary of this, you know the number of pro heroes and sidekicks who are subjected to the 'I'm pregnant with your child scam'."

Sasaki could feel the bile rise within him at the mere mention of this scheme. Women using their newborn children to trick pro heroes into providing for them, even though the baby had no biological connection to them. He had heard of many pro heroes, who had worked themselves to death as a result of this scheme, hell even All Might had a few people attempting this. Thankfully they were disproven before the mother could claim anything.

Before the three pro heroes could discuss it further. They heard what the three could only describe, the world's cutest yawn. Looking to All Might, they saw as Izuku had just woken up and seemed to be taking in his surroundings. His emerald eyes fell on Sasaki, and the two of them stared at each other for a while, before Izuku made the cutest confused baby noise the heroes had ever heard.

Torino just let out a chuckle "well he's definitely a cute one, kinda makes me wish he's yours, Sasaki "

"We still need to prove if he's mine first," Sasaki said

"Then do it" All Might said "we have your DNA on file, so why not just get a cheek swab from this little guy, we should have the results in a couple of hours. Besides, think it be better we settle this now rather than later"

A couple of hours and a DNA test later, it was discovered Izuku was in fact, Sasaki's son. Much to the joy of Torino and All Might, who seemed to be planning on spoiling him rotten. Sasaki looked down at his son, it was an exciting development in his life, but as he looked over the fragile frame of the baby, he was terrified. Would he be able to provide him with the love he deserved?
