Abstract: As far back as she can remember, Elizabeth had always lived in Forks. Her whole family lived in the same neighborhood, her friends were basically here as well. But his daily life and the daily lives of all the inhabitants of the picturesque little town were disrupted by the arrival of the Cullen family in town.
I'm going to change something chronologically. As I recall, Bella arrived two years after the Cullens arrived in Forks. In my fan fiction, the Cullens arrive at the beginning of the school year and Bella 2 months later. I recall that this is a fan fiction and nothing belongs to me of the universe except my writing, my way of bringing things and my OC. I also want to write that there will be mature and sexual content several times, whether it is hints or the act itself.
I'm French, so I'd like to write in English to reach a wider audience. I'm happy to have help with the translation or advice on the wording. Feel free to post comments.
North of Washington State there was a town called Forks, which was constantly covered with a thick cloud layer. It rained there more than anywhere else in the United States. It was in this insignificant city that I was born, that I lived and grew up. I loved Forks, I loved the fresh air, I loved the greenery and I loved the calm. One of the peculiarities of Forks was to be a small town of few inhabitants, everyone knew each other, especially in high school, then what we were only three hundred. So everyone had already heard a rumor about each other, and everyone had a reputation that would only leave him once in college. I was reassured as well as I could, it was my last year, a last year supported adolescents in hormonal boiling. That's why I wasn't necessarily thrilled about school today. A loner by nature, I only got along with a small group and the approach of the new school year was a source of stress and anxiety.
Yet I forced myself out of bed, and one day you had to face your fears. I would walk into the room without enthusiasm. The hot shower had a soothing effect and I already felt more attack for the day. On returning to my room, I allowed my wandering mind as I looked at myself at length in the mirror. I was rather banal, I found myself neither particularly beautiful nor necessarily ugly. My skin was pale, like all the inhabitants of Forks, to tell the truth. My eyes were a chocolate hue, I thought they were cute but too big for my face. My nose was tiny, which bothered me a little, but I had a nice lip and an oval face. I was a little too small and of a banal corpulence. My hair was my pride, they were black and fell down my back with indomitable curls. Tempted a cut was a lost cause, I left them curled as they wished.
Thanks to my parents, I was lucky enough to have some economic comfort. I did not have to work in the local bar or café. We had a nice house in the forest, the only road that led there was hidden by tall trees. People often passed by without really seeing it, you couldn't get here until you knew exactly what route to take. My room was bathed in light, finally, the little light there could be in this part of the country. It was of a standard shape, with a huge bay window in front of my bed. I had a beautiful view of the forest. To the right of my bed were two doors, the first for the hallway and therefore the rest of the house, the second for my bathroom. On the other side, so to the left of my bed was an impressive library as well as a nice desk. Everything was in beige and grey tones, my furniture was all black and my big bed had a dozen pillows and a big plead where I liked to roll in a ball with a big book. By my bed there was a closet and a dresser with all my clothes.
"Babe ! Don't be late for your first day of class!"
I gently shook my head and quickly regained my senses.
"I'm coming, Mom"
My mother, who was probably in the kitchen, looked very much like me in the facial features and in the body-type, but her hair was a flaming red and her eyes an ocean blue. In character we were fundamentally different. I was more calm and lonely, she was extravagant and it was hard not to admire her. Mom worked as an interior decorator and she was the one who had done all the decorations for the house. In a modern, chic, rustic style, I've felt comfortable since we moved to this part of the city when I was 13. Dad was much bigger than me, and it wasn't that complicated. His hair was as black as mine and his eyes as brown. His face was constantly in an expression of softness and calm. He worked at the Forks hospital as an emergency physician, so I didn't see him very often at certain times.
I was choosing my clothes without really paying attention. I opted for black jeans, converses, a black jeans jacket and a sweater in powdered pink wool. Despite the fact that I knew my mother hated it, I would trot down the stairs to the kitchen. It was a kitchen open to the living room, with plans of black furniture and a work plan in grey marble.
"Did you sleep okay, baby ?"
"Yes Mom", do I give her a radiant smile
She was kissing my cheek, obviously thrilled to see I was okay. She was wearing a beautiful white suit and I was almost jealous of her ability to wear heels.
"I'm running away, honey, I have a lot of work to do today and I'm coming home quite late. I made pancakes, there's juice and fruit, I left you some change for your lunch, have a nice day"
She kissed my cheek a second time and I couldn't stop laughing. I had the best mom in the world, and she was caring, fun and protective, which is more than that. After I ate my pancakes, I took my bag and the keys to my car, and I finally left home. I was climbing my Audi TT so gracefully donated by my father for my 18th birthday and was speeding to get to high school praying I wouldn't be too late.
As usual the parking lot was completely saturated. Nevertheless I managed to find a place not too far from the entrance of the main building. Without wasting time I would run to learn about my new schedule and my new class. I was speeding between the buildings and going to my first class of the day. Fortunately, I arrived two minutes before the bells rang. No one really paid attention to me, I looked around. All the faces were known to me, obviously because we all grew up together. I've been looking in the back of the class at my best friend since birth, Elena.
I would walk right up to her and sit next to her. Elena was certainly one of the most beautiful girls in this school, but also one of the most humble and kindest. She really cared about those around her and I knew she was the ones who would give her life for others. She had the hair on her shoulders, a shiny blond. The small ray of sunshine of this place in my opinion.
"How was your vacation in New York" did I ask her as I started to get my stuff out
"All right, it's been a long time since I've seen my dad and his wife, they're fine so I'm thrilled"
I smile at her, her father abandoned her, she's her mother to follow a woman to New York. But in his kindness of heart, Elena had quickly forgiven him and it was immediately understood with his mother-in-law. This was not the case of his mother who refused all contact or evocations of the subject "ex-husband". I had never understood either Elena on that point, I did not think I could face a similar situation, but I respected her for her ability forgave and to see the good in each person.
As I had arrived late we had no more time than that to develop the subject. We were both kind of serious so we just took the class in silence. We split up the next hour and I went to my second class alone. Since I wasn't particularly close to other people in this class, I was going to sit in the second row, near the window at a table alone. Distracted I listened to the conversation of others as the class had not begun.
Luckily, sitting not far from my place was Amelie, Emilie and Julie, namely, the biggest gossips and plagues that this city is ever counted, I say, the whole state.
Amélie and Julie easily looked like twins, with their caramel complexion from the return of the holiday and their blond hair bleached. Emily was a brunette, with a mannequin body and had the size and beauty that went with it.
"I told you that I saw them this Morning" repeated Amélie by swinging a bleached wick behind her shoulder.
"But I didn't know they were coming today, and how they are, I want to know everything !" Shouted Julie, unpleasantly then what she had a particularly sharp way.
"Well, there are two girls but we don't care, whatever the matter, the little one is really weird, she jumps everywhere and the blonde is downright unpleasant, I don't know who they thought she was but they will soon come down" Says Amelie passing a thick layer of candy pink gloss on her lips.
"I don't care, I want to know about the boys" giggle the second blonde
"Oh…" , Amélie whispered, almost blushing "There are three…"
"One for all of us" she says, bouncing
"They are beautiful if you know…"
She seemed to melt in place as she continued her sentence
"There is a boy with hair all messed up, a little bored air and he often grimaces, he looks like a tortured boy is so sexy, a boy who seems to be suffering continuously, blond and...he looks like an angel, the third is built like a bear, I think he could lift a car"
At the evocation of a muscular man Emilie deigned to raise the head of this manicure to look closely at the two girls
"Well, this is the one I want this year"
The other two chuckled at each other and the class finally started. I was surprised to know that there was again in town. It was rare to have a new "distraction". But I felt a little bad knowing that they would become the prey of the three plagues. I had no idea who they were at the time and hoped they wouldn't get eaten alive in this school.
I didn't dwell on it any further and listened to the course when it started. It went on all day until lunch time. I was waiting for Elena in front of the main building, we used to eat out of the cafeteria as soon as we could, the crowded atmosphere, the screaming and people running around wasn't really my cup of tea.
I finally saw him, and together we went to a coffee shop next door that made sandwiches and salads to fall on the floor. We sat at a table and talked about everything and nothing during the meal. The Cullen topic was obviously mentioned. We may have been insensitive to gossip, but something new in our peaceful lives was always welcome.
"I have heard that there are new ones this year"
Elena gave me a funny look while eating a cherry tomato
"Eli, really, we'll talk about the new ones too"
"Well" I was embarrassed "I was just wondering"
"I tease you" she laughs and I relax "yes, the blonde Rosalie Hale and in my English class"
I did not answer and looked at her curious, I expected more development. She'd give me a second look, and she'd stand up a little bit in her chair.
"Well, then they are not the adoptive children of Doctor Cullen, Rosalie Hale, the blonde and Jasper Hale the blond, are twins…"
"Doctor Cullen ?" Did I cut it off
"Yes, Doctor, but I do not think he is working with your father, but they will logically be brought to this meeting, Esmée Cullen, his wife, I do not really know what she is doing. Anyway, so then there's Alice Cullen, Emmett Cullen and Edward Cullen. I heard that Emmett Cullen and Rosalie Hale are dating"
"Oh...but...yes although they don't really have blood ties, it's Émilie who won't be thrilled, I thought I heard earlier that she had her sights on him."
She simply shrugged her shoulders uninterested in Emily's boy choices. We would go back to a normal topic and then go back to the course. We were separated, and then we were both at our last class of the day. It was a history class, probably my favorite subject.
This is where I first saw him, in the middle of a crowded classroom. He entered the room, a firm and distant mask on the face. He took the place at the bottom of the class, in the darkest corner. Strategic, I thought, so those who wanted to stare at him would turn around and end up being more rude than anything else. But I had the opportunity to observe him at entered. His face seemed to be stuck in a constant expression of pain, his eyes were a shiny gold, he had dark circles under his eyes. Tall, slender and well beaten, he stood out from the crowd. He seemed more like a senior student in college than a senior high school student. I was impressed by his charisma and restraint. The craze for the Cullens seemed more fair to me now, if they were all as beautiful as the one I saw, then yes, I wanted to understand.
I felt a little empathetic for him. Observed so by everyone did not have to be very simple, and this for anyone. The fact that he was in class didn't seem to bother anyone, and he didn't mind whispering to each other, even when the class started. As always, Elena and I only professionally attend the course.
When it finally rang, I'd put my books away and get up. Out of curiosity I was looking at the back table where Jasper was supposed to be but no sign of him. I looked at the entrance and I only had time to see his golden hair. He had come out of the yard faster than lightning. I could not help smiling amused, I understood him, I would have fled like him if I had been in this situation.
After greeting my best friend I was determined to get to my car eager to find my home. I opened the back door to throw my bag in the seat and then looked up to head forward. My eyes crossed a pair of golden eyes and I seemed to freeze on the spot. They were opposite the parking lot, leaning against a gray Volvo.
I was fascinated, they all seemed different but yet so similar. They had the same complexion, the same amazing beauty, the same eyes. I was dazzled and it was not much to say. Our eyes did not leave each other and I dared a little shy smile, but Jasper did not answer me. Instead he turned to his brothers and sisters, they all chatted when they got back in their cars, they seemed murmured and their lips moved far too fast.
I would get in my car and take a moment for all the details, the one who seemed the youngest had copper hair and a slender body than his brothers, He smiled from time to time as if something seemed particularly amusing to him or he made strange faces by glaring at a random student. I guessed it was Edward, and then what the second brother was was this one beat like a bear, he had beautiful black hair and an almost childish look on his face despite his facial features that made him look older than a high school.
I was amazed at the beauty of their sisters, unique in their way. The one I became Rosalie was built like a model, with long blond hair. She seemed to be filled with self-confidence and full of charisma. I had a thought for Emily, she was going to be green with envy, as beautiful as she was she would never equal Rosalie. She had something extra, an aura of danger, of feline.
The second one was smaller and thinner. She had short hair and looked like a small elf. She was the one who seemed the most open and looked at everyone with a smile on her face. Our eyes crossed when I put the contact of my car and she winked at me smiling. I couldn't help but blush at the attention and smile timidly before leaving the parking lot quickly to finally go home.
As my mother told me, she wasn't there, neither was my father. I was going into the kitchen to make lasagna, and I was taking one by myself and putting the rest away for them tonight. After I ate, I began to do the little homework we had been given, and I had nothing else to do. I would then go up to my room and fall asleep, a book in my hand.
I was dreaming that night of a golden-eyed blond.
