Note: This is an alternate ending to the episode "I Am My Monster". I felt like creating a different ending. This may just be a one-shot, but if enough people want this to continue, I would be more than happy to write more. I hope you enjoy this alternate ending. Feel free to leave a review, I read all of them.

"If Pink hurt you, it was because I hurt her like I hurt Yellow and Blue and Steven and everyone in the entire universe. This is all my fault!" Cried White Diamond.

"Yes! It is. Yes, you hurt him, but this isn't the time to make this all about you. That is not helping! Maybe Steven would care how sad you are because he always puts everyone else's feelings first, but he can't do that for you right now because he needs us this time! We all had Steven when we needed him, but the only person who never had Steven is Steven. He's always been there for us, so how can we be there for him now?!" Connie yelled to everyone.

"I…I don't know how." Garnet spoke as she reformed.

"What do you mean?" Connie questioned as she rode Lion down to the beach where everyone was located.

"He doesn't want to be helped. Just look at him." Garnet stated as she pointed in Steven's direction. Steven was still struggling to get out of the grasp of the cluster.

"We have to at least try." Greg shouted out desperately. "That is my son!"

"We better think of something fast. The cluster won't be able to hold him for much longer." Bismuth stated in a panic.

"My baby!" Pearl stood there in shock with tears gushing out of her eyes.

"A hug." Garnet stated. "He always hugs us to make us better."

"That's true." Amethyst commented.

"Why are we just standing here then? Let's give Steven a hug." Yellow crossed her arms.

"It won't be so easy. We need to charge at him with love." Garnet put back on her star-shaped visor.

"How must we do that?" White questioned. She still felt horrible, but she knew that she had to push those feelings aside and be there for him.

"Lapis, I need you to send a wave his way once he breaks free of the cluster." Garnet ordered.

"You got it." Lapis flew above Steven getting the wave ready.

"Yellow, I need you to make me as big as Steven." Stated Garnet. She was determined to get her little Steven back.

"Of course." Yellow agreed and used her new powers to make Garnet as big as Steven.

"Now, everyone else must follow behind me. We all need to give Steven the biggest hug that is filled with lots of love and support." Garnet nodded and got ready to charge. "It's the only way."

"We're ready." All of the others called out. "Let's do this."

Monstrous Steven finally broke free of the cluster. He was more powerful than he had ever been before.

He was inside the monster, but he had no control over his actions. He could see what was going on, the struggles his family and friends were facing all because of him. It only further corrupted his mind and body more. He roared with anger as to which Lapis flooded him with a wave.

"Charge!" Garnet yelled as they all ran towards him.

"Steven, we need you to know how much we love you!" Pearl called out while running.

"You are my son and I'm not giving up on you!" Greg also charged.

"I want Steven back!" Blue called out.

"You gave me a second chance. Now I want to give you one. Please come back, Steven!" Bismuth yelled as tears fell from her face.

"I want you to sing your silly songs to me again!" Spinel commented as she bounced her way towards him.

"You cared about me and healed me. I want to do the same for you." Lapis looked down at him as she was flying with her water wings.

"You let me be who I truly wanted to be. Please come back." Peridot cried.

"You showed me how to love myself when it seemed impossible. Let me return the favour buddy!" Amethyst screamed while crying.

"I need you, Steven. You're the only being that has ever made me reflect different colours!" White Diamond pleaded.

"You made me express my feelings even when I didn't want to. Now it's your turn! "Yellow screamed.

"You showed me a whole new way of life. You're my best friend Steven. Let me help you. "Connie called out while riding Lion towards him.

"We're your family and we're here to show you the love and support that you deserve!" Garnet yelled out. She was running the fastest out of the bunch. She couldn't bear to see her Steven like this.

Monstrous Steven stopped moving as he watched his family and friends charge with their arms out wanting to hug him. Yet, he didn't want a hug. It was far too late for this now. Where was this hug when he needed it the most? Sure, he had pushed everyone away and tried running from these feelings, but they never cared enough to stop him until now. Only when he had become stronger and a threat to their beloved city or themselves, he was their priority. This had only made him angrier and more upset.

"We're here" everyone called out while giving Steven the biggest hug they could ever give them.

Monstrous Steven stood there, still as ever. He didn't feel anything from this hug. It felt like nothing. He was gone. The Steven they thought they were hugging is no longer there. He is too far gone to feel the love and support they are finally giving him. He lost his purpose in life once everything had become fixed. Now all he wants to do is be fully gone. He wants to rest.

"We love you." They all stated while tears were coming out of their eyes. All they wanted was their Steven back. Nothing less and nothing more. Just him.

Monstrous Steven let out another big roar which caused everyone to fly back onto the beach. He then stomped his way to The Temple and started destroying it. He wanted it gone. It had once been filled with so many secrets and lies that it had become an eyesore to him.

"Why didn't that work?" Garnet looked down at her gems while feeling very weak laying in the sand. "It was supposed to work…"

"He is destroying everything!" Pearl yelled looking at her home being demolished."

"We can't let him get to Little Homeworld." Bismuth stated as she picked herself up off of the beach.

"Go evacuate everyone, Connie!" Garnet yelled.

"On it!" Connie wiped her tears and began to evacuate the citizens of Beach City and Little Homeworld.

"What are we going to do now?" Greg panicked. He was in a lot of pain from hitting the ground so hard.

"Dude, you need to stay back!" Amethyst ordered seeing how much pain Greg was in.

"I'm not giving up on my son!" Greg painfully stood up.

"You're going to get yourself killed!" Pearl stated.

"I'll be fine." Greg said. He was not giving up.

"Steven! You need to stop. You'll tear this planet apart." White looked at Steven.

Monsterous Steven only got angrier by this statement. She was the one who ripped him apart. She took the one thing out of him that he needed, his mother's gem. How dare she pretend to care about him and Earth now. He then charged at her.

"Ahhh!" White diamond screamed as she was knocked to the ground. She couldn't dare fight him. She actually loved him.

"Steven!" Garnet called out. "This needs to stop." Garnet slowly walked closer to him. "We're your family and we always will be your family."

Monsterous Steven began to glitch with his appearance. One second, he was this giant pink monster, next he was pink glowing Steven. "Where…where was…was this when I…I needed… it."

Everyone froze. Even Garnet who was walking closer to him. They couldn't bear to think of all the pain they had caused him over the years. He had been faced with so much trauma, some that they didn't even know of. They felt helpless. They did not have a fix for this.

"E...Exactly." Steven stopped glitching. He was now his pink glowing self and not a giant monster. Corruption was slowly taking over his body. He began to develop horns just like Jasper had.

"Steven…" Everyone called out with their hands reaching towards them.

"You cannot save me now. This is the end of me." Steven looked around.

"You can change your future." Garnet reminded him.

"This…this gem has caused me far too much pain." Steven looked down at his gem. "I wish I never had it. I wish that I was never born."

"Don't say that Stu-ball." Greg was heartbroken by his son's words.

"You all would've been better off with my mom, Pink Diamond." Steven was now slowly glitching away with each new thought.

"That's not true and you know it." Garnet stated. "You have brought new meaning to our lives. Look what you have accomplished." She pointed around. "You established peace."

"But I'm disturbing that peace." Steven's eyes were filled with tears. "Please, let me go."

"Steven!" Connie warped in through with Lion's powers after evacuating the city. "I'm not letting you go." Connie ran up to him and hugged him.

"B-but I'm a monster. Look at what I have done." Steven held her tightly.

"This can all be fixed. I promise you that." Connie looked into his eyes. He looked so lost and hurt.

"I can't be here anymore." Steven let her go and backed away. "I will only hurt you all more. I am my own monster."

"You can change just like us." Blue diamond stated.

"But I don't want to cha-change." Stevens legs began to glitch away only leaving his upper body left.

"We just want you the way you are buddy." Amethyst was trying her best to hold it together.

"This is who I am." Steven fully glitched away, but he turned back into the giant pink monster. His appearance was a reflection as to how he felt. This was who he felt like. This time, it had become a more permanent state. No love or support could make him come back. His mind was corrupted and his body was out of control.

"Come back Steven!" Connie gasped as she watched her Steven turn back into the cruel monster.

Monstrous Steven headed towards the city which caused everyone to panic even more. They couldn't let him destroy all of the progress that had been made. Beach City is the home of many individuals.

"Stop!" Everyone yelled at the giant pink monster, but he ignored as his mind wasn't present anymore.

"He is not in there anymore." White Diamond sadly spoke as she tried using her power once more on him.

"We can't let him ruin Little Homeworld." Peridot cried.

"We...We have to poof him." Garnet hesitated.

"W-what?" Pearl panicked.

"We must." Garnet spawned her gauntlets.

"You're not touching my son!" Greg cried while looking at Garnet.

"Just be careful of his gem." Was all that she could say as she made her way towards Steven.

"What must we do?" Blue questioned. She felt a deep sadness like she had felt when she thought Pink had been shattered.

"White, Yellow and Blue, please help hold him down." Garnet said stoically. "Lapis you need to help them."

"Garnet you can't be serious." Amethyst looked up at her.

"I am." She stated. "Now, I need you, Pearl, Bismuth and Peridot to help me poof him."

"No way am I hurting my baby!" Pearl yelled in fear.

"Steven isn't in there. It's the only way to get this to stop." Explained Garnet.

Yellow, Blue, White and Lapis held the giant pink Steven monster down. They felt wrong doing so, but they knew Steven wasn't in there. Monstrous Steven tried to break free from their grip, but it was very difficult. Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl charged monstrous Steven with Bismuth and Peridot following closely behind them. They all had their weapons out, ready to poof him. Connie and Greg held onto each other with their eyes tightly closed shut. They couldn't bear to look.

While they all used their weapons on the monster, they had their eyes closed. It felt so wrong to be fighting and poofing someone who they had once protected at all cost. Steven was everything to them. They had wished that they had shown him love and support sooner and helped him when he really needed it. They knew something was wrong with him, but he never wanted to talk about it. So, they never pushed him upon it when they should have. Now it had become too late to offer such support and love now.

A loud popping noise was heard and a flash occurred. There lied the Pink Diamond gem on the sand. Everyone looked at it in shock with tears flowing out of their eyes.

"I'm so sorry." Garnet removed her visor and wiped her tears. She couldn't believe what she just had done, but it was the only way to let him be at peace.

"Steven." Connie had let go of Greg and walked towards his gem slowly. "I hope you're okay in there."

"Will he come back." Greg asked with hesitation. He didn't know if he wanted to hear the answer, but he knew he had to know.

"Hopefully." Was all Garnet could say. "He needs to rest and heal himself."

"My poor baby." Pearl covered her mouth. All she wanted was her Steven back.

"What if he doesn't reform?" Yellow asked. She had some knowledge about corruption, but not to a great extent.

"He has to reform." Blue answered yellow. She didn't want to lose Steven like she had lost Pink.

"There is a chance he may not reform." White answered. She was very knowledgeable about this subject, but the fact that Steven is half human raises so many unanswered questions. "But there is a chance he will."

"We must be patient." Garnet added.

They all looked at the pink diamond gem that Connie still held tightly in her hand. All they could do was hope for Steven to reform, but there was so much uncertainty.

"You're at peace now Steven." Connie kissed his gem and brought it close to her heart. "Get better soon."
