Prologue:
Mario and Sonic, two incredible hero's who time after time have saved their worlds from the brink of disaster. For Mario, its been saving the Princess of the Mushroom kingdom, Peach from the tryannical Bowser, king of the Koopa's preventing him from not only ruling the Mushroom kingdom but on two occasions from almost ruling the entire universe! He's saved Princess Daisy of Sarassaland from a forced marriage to the vile Tutunga, Battled Wario for control of Mario land, Cleaned the entire island of Delfino while uncovering a plot against him, and not to mention his numerous battles with Donkey Kong.
Plumber, Carpenter, Hero, no matter what hat he wears,it's always as a Hero. Now as for Sonic the hedgehog, he lives life to the fullest and fastest. Known the world over as the fastest thing alive, he's always running from one adventure to the next. His battles with the evil genius Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik are legendary. From their first encounter in the Green Hill Zone to his battles on the Death Egg, the Space colony Ark and even an interstellar amusement park.
Not to mention his battles with the likes of Shadow the hedgehog, the Deadly Six, Metal Sonic, Chaos, Eraser Jinn, King Arthur, and so many more. In short separately they have done many things but now they will be out to the test, as unforseen events cause the two world's to merge, and with it a new dark foe will arise to challenge the heroes.
the coming crisis will test not just the heroes, but their enemies as well, causing friend and foe alike to forge uneasy alliances.
