It has been 4 years since that fateful day. Gohan had defeated the monster who threatened the peace on earth. It was the same day when gohan lost everything he held dear to. His father ,his mother ,his unborn brother ,everything.

gohan just returned his home, after defeating cell, with tears in eyes because he lost his father due to his mistake.
what he saw was even more disturbing, some petty thieves who thought world is about to end decided to have some killed his mother and were partying at his rage blinded gohan when he say his mother's dead body lying in the floor. with a flash of light all the thieves were dead. After that day no one in the Z fighters heard from gohan who seemed to have disappeared from the face of earth.
