Beacon Academy. The highlight of the kingdom of Vale. Remnant's most highly regarded Huntsman Academy. Only the most powerful young men and women who aspired to be Huntsmen were admitted. Simply put, if someone was admitted, there was a reason for it.
Today was the day on which new first-year students would make their arrival to this prestigious palace of learning. A crowd of students, most of whom were around 17 years of age, poured out from the landed airships and onto the walkway that led to the front entrance of Beacon Academy. Boys and girls alike were present. Some of these students were human, while others bore various animal traits. These human-animal beings were known as Faunus.
Among the two races in this mixed group, however, there would be two other students, each of whom was neither human nor Faunus.
A figure stepped out of one of the airships and set foot on the asphalt path. This figure was a young man, just over 17 years old. He had golden blonde hair, which was tied into a low, and rather small, ponytail in the back. Two sets of flowing golden locks were positioned in front of his pointed Hylian ears, blowing in the slight breeze. His eyes were two different colors; one was a bright sky blue, the other was a deep emerald green. He wore a light blue tunic with a leather armor piece protecting his pectoral area, a set of off white trousers, and boots of brown leather. Around his neck was a navy blue cape. Said cape had a hood, but this hood was down. Strapped to the young man's back was a set of equipment: a purple-hilted broadsword, an ornate shield, a wooden bow, and an arrow-filled quiver. A strange stone tablet device hung from a belt on his waist.
This was Aris Atreides.
Aris hailed from a once-fallen kingdom that had risen from its ashes and built anew. This kingdom, called Hyrule, was in a world separate from Remnant. Aris was the twin brother of Hyrule's reigning princess, Loretta.
Aris had traveled to other worlds before, but this was his first time in Remnant. In these other worlds, Aris had thwarted many evildoers that were prevalent. He had grown to be a very powerful warrior, one who was almost never bested in battle.
Another young man, this one looking to be around 16, flew to Aris and landed beside him. This young man had short brown hair, and atop his head rested a golden laurel crown. The boy wore a white chiton, metal bands on his wrists, and a pair of sandals. Protruding from his upper back was a pair of feathered white wings.
This was Aris's closest friend: Pit.
Pit was an angel, and the most loyal servant of the Goddess of Light, Palutena. Aris had first met him during a war with the Lord of the Underworld, Hades. They had formed an alliance, and with their combined heroism, defeated Hades and restored order to Pit's world.
"Guess we've arrived, then," Aris said to his angel comrade.
Pit nodded. "Yep. If this isn't Beacon, I don't know where we are."
Aris breathed a breath of excitement. "I still can't believe that Ozpin guy invited us to attend his school, let alone despite the fact that he knows where we're from."
"Neither can I," Pit said in agreement. "Not that I'm complaining." The angel briefly stretched his wings before returning them to their resting position. "Ready to head on over?"
Aris nodded. "Anytime, old friend."
And with that, the Angel and the Hylian set off.
