1. My Peaceful days are breaking down
The wind blew up revealing white panties.
Black clouds hovered above the city called Khou City. They were thick and dense, predicting heavy rains that could come.
Under a stormy sky, a 17-year-old teenager walked with dark brown hair, shoulder-length and thin black eyebrows, in square rimless glasses, he was also of medium height. He is one of three famous perverts, having a paranormal ability to calculate women's body numbers at a glance, which gave him a nickname such as - "Perverted Glasses" - one around the world - Motohama Daiki.
Forced by the lack of food in the fridge, he walked from the store holding two bags filled with his future dish. And the new issue of the magazine with ladies in swimsuits, of course, he would share this expression of art with his friends but the bald head went to his extended family, and Issei went on a trip with the occult club.
"Bastard," thought the student wearing glasses. He couldn't bear the thought that his once infamous friend now spins around in the company of the prettiest girls in the whole school or in the whole city. He did not understand how Issei succeeded and he did not, after all, they are not so different from each other.
Brown hair doesn't want to offend his friend but Issei Hyoudou is average outside and inside. He doesn't have good grades and is not intelligent like Motohama, and he is not athletic like Matsuda. The only thing Issei stands out is his personality, he is the bravest, truthful and generous of the three of them.
Kicking out a small stone on the pavement and cataloging the next image of the female body for home. He wondered if there was any way that he also managed to get a chance to achieve his final goal - to feel in his hands the feeling of touching the breast of the opposite sex.
Some or most could call him a degenerate or a perverted scum whose place is in the sewage for regularly watching porn and peeping under the girls' skirts. Motohama would call them cowards, what is wrong with following your dreams and wanting to achieve those dreams?
But these are just excuses he tells himself and he knows it well when he is left alone with his thoughts. He lacks social and interpersonal skills to even at least interest girls, and the reputation that follows him does not help him. Even if he had some chance to prove himself, he would not be able to make it happen.
He and his friends hoped that if they could get to a school where almost all the girls were, maybe they would have a chance. He knew that quality counts over quantity but he believed that somehow he would succeed.
It all began from his childhood, from the young he had poor ability to communicate with his other peers, so when his two only friends began to follow the path of deviation he follows them. Before he looked back, he was deep in the swamp of deviation, not knowing anything else, he continued, not paying attention to how it hurt him or how he could hurt him.
But still, Daiki enjoyed his peaceful life. He did not have difficult moments in his life, he did not have to fight for his fate or existence. You can say that he is lucky to have such a straightforward life, without having to worry about the future. Free and calm as he likes, prefers and wants it to be. Hassle-free to go through ordinary and repetitive life, full of habits and plans.
And that is why he does not want to change, rebuilding his lifestyle from the foundations would destroy his peaceful life. He would have to adapt to the new situation and create his rhythm of the day and habits again. It would be easier if he had to move and start in a new place where nobody would know him.
So he wondered now as he walked between the tall buildings, next to different places where other older and younger people meet, avoiding the dark streets - is he who he should be and what to do next in life?
He sighed and then headed for his house, suddenly passing by the construction site he heard a high-pitched scream. The voice seemed to belong to a girl who was clearly in pain. Slightly scared, Motohama immediately searched his pockets to call for help, but with an unlucky coincidence, he forgot to take the phone.
'Maybe it's nothing,' thought the brown hair teenager trying to convince himself that he did not have to intervene. But after another scream, he overcame his fears and walked towards the source of the voice on trembling legs.
It darkened through the black clouds that formed covering the sky and light drops of rain began to fall.
The construction site was a huge patch of land, fenced from the street with a mesh, and surrounded by metal sheets on the other sides. He climbed the gate separating the road from the building during construction, jumping off with a slight bang to the ground, then went deeper.
He moved under the skeleton of a building made of steel beams, where the peak reached from a perspective of at least eight floors. It passed the mixer next to the concrete, almost tripping over thick and black cables scattered around the place like climbers. He was walking on hard but fresh gray concrete.
Motohama Daiki wondered if it is too late to turn back. What if these are ghosts or other monsters, Khou is famous for the many unexplained phenomena that have happened here. Someone saw people flying in the night sky, someone disappeared for no reason and apparently one can summon the devil.
The closer he was to his goal, the more his heartbeat accelerate, his ears rumbling from the speed of his pulse in the bloodstream. When he bypassed the outhouse, which felt like someone had problems with the intestines, he heard that it is almost there.
He stuck to the unfinished wall, hoping that nobody would notice him, quietly and slowly approached the edge of his shield and looked around the corner.
There were two figures there, one big struggling with a smaller person trying to escape. A smaller person twisted and twisted trying every way to get out of the giant's grip.
A giant man over two meters high, with muscles bigger than his head. He had severely sculpted facial features and eyes that gave the impression of emitting fiery light. His burning red hair and beard matched his hard face. He wore leather armor and white fur cuffs and shin guards, leaving his hands and arms unprotected. He seemed to exude an aura of strength, to Motohama he was as frightening as a bear or demon.
The person trying to escape was a tall girl with long brown hair tied up in two long ponytails. Although it was dark, the teenager wearing glasses could see her blue-blue eyes with tears. She was wearing a casual dress, a white shirt with frills, long black skirts, and black shoes. From his perspective, he couldn't see her face, but she seemed familiar to him.
Daiki felt sweat run down his neck. He did not know what to do - run away, call for help or trying to fight such a terrifying man. But he felt that if he did nothing to the girl something bad would happen.
The student bent down and reached for a metal pipe laying in a pile on the ground. He felt like an impromptu weapon could slip out of his wet hands at any moment. On his feet, as if from jelly, he quietly approached the unsuspecting redhead.
When he was close enough, the eyeglass closed his eyes and swung a steel stick aiming at the giant's head. When he hit the target he felt his hands shake and heard an empty bang. Slowly, he opened his eyes and saw that the big man was looking at him with slight irritation and weariness in his eyes. The pipe skewed and the red-haired man does not look injured, nothing happened to him from the blow with a blunt tool.
When the giant hit Motoham in the middle of the chest, with a movement as if he chased away a fly, he flew away a few meters back. The teenager felt his collarbone break from the pressure, pain pierced his entire body, falling on cold and hard concrete to add to his suffering.
The redhead sighed and said, "Don't get up, kid, it is not profitable to risk for strangers" - the voice was heavy and tired.
'He's right,' thought the student. Why should he help someone he does not know, he is too weak to run to school and he wanted to fight with this giant. This idea to come here was a mistake, he should escape at the first opportunity, like the coward he is.
But he wants to be strong, prove to everyone that he is more than just a pervert and degenerate. Show others that it is worth more than can be seen at first glance. He probably won't be able to defeat that monster but it will create opportunities for the girl to run away. Ultimately he may die, maybe it will be his pitiful life for the girls. Who has family and many friends who will be sad when she disappears, unlike him who only has two close friends.
Motohama got up despite the pressure on his body, on weak legs he walked again to the thug who was now looking at him curiously. He swung putting all the forces he had and hit the red colossus straight into the nose.
The big man didn't move or flinch - "I don't want to do it, but I commend your courage, let me answer with as much determination as yours."
Daiki didn't even notice what hit him, everything happened as if at the speed of light. At one point he was looking at a muscular man and in the other, he felt like his head was coming out of his neck, his face was shattered to pieces and the glass from his glasses stuck into his eyes.
The teenager fell to the ground with loud thunder, coughed out the blood that flowed in his throat and bent unable to withstand the feeling that pierced his whole body. Motohama felt like he was hit by a car or a bull and not a normal man, red-haired is a monster.
His thoughts of pain were interrupted by the girl's scream. He must help her. After all, he can't lie here and feel sorry for himself, when he started something he should end. Attempt to attack failed and the next one will not even hit because his eyes turned into mush with protruding glass preventing him from seeing. But it should be enough for him to change attention from girl to him.
The wounded teenager coughed and stood up barely holding himself straight again - "That's all you can do, the girls from my school beat harder than you" - he sneered in a voice as dry as the desert.
The big man made a laugh - "You have balls, kid, let me hit you with all my strength like a real man" - promised the giant.
Motohama felt his pulse increase, blood begins to flow faster, dopamine floods the inside of his head and adrenaline filled his body. The neurons sent a signal to every part of his brain, even to those he didn't ever use. All these factors came together to open up the potential that he didn't even know about.
His locks of hair fell over his eyes blocking his view, he couldn't see through his eyes but he saw!
He saw the picture of how the red-haired giant hit him - the first blow destroyed his jaw, the next broke all his ribs, the last pierced him through his heart.
But he felt nothing, none of these attacks missed, and the monstrous thug is still far away from him. Daiki felt like all this was about to happen, he saw the future. Only how much time forward? He wondered, probably less than a minute because the giant is too close, but more than five seconds to reach him. Adding this and calculating the time in which the bastard will shorten the distance between them, he concluded that it will be about ten seconds. So he began to count.
First second - he heard footsteps.
Second second - sweat was running down his neck.
The third second - he strained all his muscles.
The fourth second - he took a deep breath.
Fifth second - he felt numbness all over his body.
Sixth second - the steps were getting closer.
Seventh of a second - he felt raindrops on his skin.
Eight seconds - they were face to face.
Ninth second - he felt Redhead swing his arm.
The tenth second - Motohama bowed his head avoiding a deadly blow.
The almost dead teenager bent and then straightened his legs like springs, jumping backward avoiding the next attack. But the last blow connected to his body, Daiki flew backward hitting one of the metal beams.
He felt the pain, so much pain that he could no longer feel the body but as if the fire consumed every cell in him. But it doesn't matter if it can extend it to give the girl a chance to run away, he doesn't care what happens to him. He must last for at least a minute, distract the big man to give her a chance. He has to bear it, even if a thug breaks all his bones, he'll stand it.
He stood up again, supporting the steel pillar, his power activated and saw the future. He wanted to avoid but his legs did not move as if they were immersed in moving sands. So he raised his hands to somehow defend himself. It did not help much when the monster's fist hit, his forearm bent in an impossible direction for man.
The thug struck again, Motohama could only defend himself and barely avoid. Every blow broke his bones, every blow broke the next internal organ, every attack flooded his body in the blood. But he endured, but he felt his consciousness slowly fly away.
The force of the blow moved him to the next steel beam, activated his paranormal skills, but this time he saw hope. If the red-haired thug hit him, the force will transfer from the body to the beam behind him and then around the building and both metal pipes will fall on them. His chance is to escape at the last moment.
He extracted all his strength and prepared himself for the last uprising. The red-haired man threw his hand like a javelin, Daiki avoided despite the fact that in his legs every muscle was destroyed in the process.
A loud roar pierced the entire construction site and the entire building skeleton shook. The beams buckled and bent, the structure leaned, the bolts tore free and unfastened pipes from the roof slipped off and began to fall to the ground.
The teenager leaped away from the metal rain. But his opponent did not manage to react and was buried under scrap metal.
Motohama Daiki no longer had energy. He closed eyes there was only darkness.
