The camera pans through a desert planet as space pirates were seen marching through it before stopping in front of a cave as a shadow flies above them to reveal Ridley who stands in front of the cave and looks up at it and turns to face the space pirates and points at the cave as they nod as some of them march into the cave and look around it as they come across a chest.
Ridley watches the cave before sniffing the air and then turns right and slowly walks forward and bumps into something metal but notices nothing was there.
The space pirates walk up to the chest and then open it up to notice a wire attached to the lock which snaps as a bomb goes off, exploding and killing the space pirates in it as Ridley turns and faces the cave with a snarl before turning back to face the invisible thing he bumped into which turns visible to reveal Samus ship as Samus leaps out of it and flies above Ridley and lands on the other side of him and looks up at Ridley & the space pirates.
"Hello boys, did you miss me" Samus said before Ridley roars and points at Samus as the space pirates start shooting at her as she rolls behind some rocks.
"I take that as a yes" Samus said before looking at her arm cannon and then presses a button on it.
"Missiles activated" a voice said from the arm cannon as she rises out from the rock and aims at a space pirate and fires at him who explodes as a space pirate runs up to Samus and swings at her but she grabs his arm and twists it as the space pirate roars in pain as she flips him over and then grabs his neck, twisting it and killing him instantly as Samus presses a button on her arm cannon.
"Charge beam activated" a voice said from the arm cannon as Samus aims at a space pirate sneaking up behind her and fires at him as he went flying and lands on the floor, killing him instantly before turning to face Ridley who then slowly claps at her as Samus presses a button on her helmet.
"Translation activated" a voice said from the helmet.
"Very good Samus, you must be translating what i say again, that's cheating" Ridley said to her.
"Well it's better to know what you usually say behind my back, now it's time to collect the bounty i been trying to get my whole life, yours" Samus said before aiming at Ridley who then hovers in the air and then flaps his wings really fast, making the sand fly at Samus and blind her and then flies off towards the sky as the sand stops flying at Samus as she looks up at the sky to notice Ridley flying off and then aims at him but he was too far away and then puts her arm cannon.
"Damn, escaped again…" Samus said before making her way to her ship and hops into it and sat down in the pilot seat and turns the ship on before flying away.
Samus ship was seen flying through space as beeping was heard going off and presses a button as Commander Adam Malkovich appears on the screen.
"Adam Malkovich" Samus said to him.
"Samus Aran, we been tracking your brief mission, attempting to bring down Ridley, did you succeed?" Adam asked.
"That's a negative, he escaped again" Samus replied.
"Samus, you need to stop playing this wild goose chase with him, clearly you're not ready to take down aliens like him, Ridley is the highest ranking space pirate, it will take more then a missile to wipe him out" Adam said.
"No you don't understand, Ridley is my responsibility, and i will carry on chasing him all across the whole universe, no matter what it takes!" Samus snapped.
"Your anger is getting the better of it, let it go Samus, and leave this to the professionals, remember you were one of us, retired or not, you follow orders from me, do i make myself clear" Adam said as Samus sighs.
"Yes Commander" Samus said.
"Good, i will meet you at the Ceres Space Colony, as soon as possible for a briefing" Adam said.
"I will be there asap, Samus out" Samus said before hanging up the call before she hears something being knocked over behind her as she looks back.
"Hello?" Samus shouted out before turning autopilot on and slowly makes her way towards the back of the ship and hears something in the closet and then gets her arm cannon ready and then opens the door and aims at a baby metroid on the floor in the closet as a floats up to her and around her.
"What even are you?" Samus said before holding her hand out as the baby metroid lands on it as she looks at it before pressing a button on the helmet to scan the baby metroid.
"This life form is not known in the universe" a voice said in Samus helmet.
"No that can't be right, you should know about every species in the universe, unless, i just found a new species…" Samus said to herself before beeping was heard as Samus turns to notice Ceres Space Colony ahead and then puts the baby metroid in a container and locks it.
Samus ship lands in Ceres Space Colony as Adam watches it land as Samus steps out of it while holding the container with the baby metroid in it and walks up to Adam.
"Commander, can you get your scientists to study this" Samus said before holding up the container to show Adam who looks at it.
"What is it?" Adam asked.
"No idea, my helmet couldn't even recognise it, i think i discovered a new species" Samus said to Adam who takes the container.
"Interesting, i'll see what the scientists can discover with this" Adam said before walking off with the container.
"Oh and by the way, you remember where the main hall is right?" Adam asked.
"Yeah, i know where it is alright" Samus replied.
"Good, i'll be there in 5" Adam said before walking off through a door as Samus then walked towards the same door aswell and walks through it.
