" Class! Valentine's day is coming next week, and as class rep, I am obliged to set up a few rules!"

The entire class sighed as Iida stormed in front of the blackboard.

" Within academy grounds there should be no discarded flowers, no discarded chocolate packages in the academy grounds and most importantly, no making out!" Iida finished the last sentence with an uncomfortable cough.

The class stared. The response was slow yet devastating.

"NO MAKING OUT ?!" Mineta screeched.

" ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?!" Kaminari wailed as well.

" Don't be sad, it's not like you'll find anyone to make out with," Jiro commented offhandedly at the boy's misfortune.

Mineta started crying tears of blood and it seemed like Kaminari was ready to unleash two million volts when Todoroki raised his hand awkwardly.

Iida motioned for him to speak.

" What is…Valentine's day ?" the boy asked softly.

"…"

The entire class 1-A stared at the boy in mild sympathy. Todoroki blinked in confusion.

" W-well it's a day when you give flowers and chocolate to people you like…" Iida read out of a dictionary.

" I see…" Todoroki nodded thoughtfully.

" Well Midoriya, you are a nice person and I suppose I like you, so am I supposed to give you chocolate?" Todoroki fumbled around his bag slightly and pulled out a small chocolate bar.

Midoriya spluttered.

The stoic boy looked around the classroom slowly, he held a certain amount of affection towards everyone present, so was he supposed to give chocolate and flowers to everyone?

Todoroki sighed hopelessly at the awkward atmosphere and walked out of the classroom for lunch.
