Chapter 1: Shocking Discovery
"Hey Mom I'm going outside ok!", I called to my mother who was in the kitchen making dinner. "Alright then Sweetie! Be careful out there.", She called back.
I went into our backyard shed and picked out a random shovel. Now it's time to get digging. I followed a dirt path into the forest. Then I came to a stop in a dirt opening.
I planted the shovel firmly into the ground below. If you're wondering why I am digging in the first place, it's because I'm trying to find the perfect jewel for my collection.
You could call me a gem finatic. I'm beyond obsessed with gems. My mom tells me I share the same love for jewels that my deceased father did when he was alive. The last thing He told me was to watch over all of his gems to continue his collection.
My collection consists of Garnets, Ameythst, Pearls, Rose Quartz, Diamonds, and all other gems. My current hobby in life was gem harvesting. I had yet to find any new gems yet though.
I pressed the shovel deeper into the rough soil. The shovel wouldn't budge so I got down to my feet. I began digging with my hands getting dirt all on my hands and under my fingernails.
Once I stopped my jaw automatically dropped to the ground. I've never seen this kind of specimen in all my life or in any book I read.
What I had dug up was a diamond, but this diamond contained every shade of the rainbow. "Oh my god!, I gotta show this to mom!", I squeeled to myself. I snagged the gem from the dirt wiping off the residue on my shirt.
Something was odd here. When you find a gem you'll usually find many others of the same type in the same area. This diamond in particular had seemed more like it was buried here than it was created in the Earth.
Then I felt something strange when I held onto this gem in my palms. It was...vibrating and shifting around.
Last time I checked I'm pretty sure that gems don't vibrate or move on their own at all.
To my suprise some invisible force made the gem fly out of my grasp. A rock hit the back of my ankle causing me to fall on my butt. My shirt flew back leaving my belly exposed to the air.
The levitating gem began glowing and spinning. Then it shot straight down with terrifying speeds towards my stomach planting itself firmly into my belly button.
"What the heck!", I tried pulling out the gem, but it wouldn't budge. Suddenly a warm shocking felling shrouded my body. "S-S-Someb-b-body H-H-Help!!!" Then everything went had dark.
A/n: Sorry if this was a short chapter. I had gotten a little stumped on how to start this.
