Author's Note: Hello, everyone! My name is Yuri and this is my first story for Azur Lane. Now…I gotta be honest, I read a few on this anime and it sounds a bit more complicated than Kantai Collection's story. But…that doesn't mean I shouldn't at least write some stories for this series, starring the characters I DO know. And I'm starting with Belfast x Enterprise.

Enterprise is suspicious. She doesn't know why, but after hearing about a new vice captain in the Navel District, he seemed to be unusually close to Belfast, asking her for guidance and such. Now, why wouldn't he have asked some other ship girl or even the captain himself? Something is not right.

She decides to investigate. She keeps an eye on the vice captain most of the day all until dusk.

So far nothing crazy was going on, but the silver haired American has to get to the bottom of it. She walks down the hall just minutes after Belfast left to her own room.

Something was telling Enterprise that the vice captain is up to something as soon as she saw him walk down the hall. She decides to secretly and quietly follow him.

After minutes turning around corners and walking down each hall, Enterprise finally sees the vice captain enter Belfast's room. But why? Shouldn't he be with the captain?

Just then, the doors open and her maid and the vice captain are on their way toward the main office. Enterprise raises an eyebrow. Was there some message from the captain?

Enterprise follows them quietly until they reach their destination. The vice captain lets in Belfast first and then him going last. He closes the door behind him and Enterprise quickly runs toward the door to have a listen.

"Strange, where is the captain?" Belfast questions. "You said he's here."

Unbeknownst to the maid, the vice captain grins as he locks the door.

"Ohhh, I'm sorry, truth is, he's on duty," he says. "I will take good care of you now."

"What...?" Belfast turns around and she is grabbed by the vice captain.

Enterprise can hear struggling and screaming, mostly from Belfast.

"What's going on!? Belfast!" The silver haired woman shouts, banging on the door. "Hey! Open up!"

The screaming continues until there is a thud and silence comes after. Enterprise grits her teeth and kicks the door hard until it breaks.

She takes a couple steps forward and her eyes widen at the sight of her maid unconscious. She then looks up at the vice captain, grinning.

"Did you just hurt...your own freaking navel soldier!?" Enterprise gasps.

"Heh, oh, Enterprise. I'm just a phony. You see, I am actually an under cover spy. To get info on this district and come back to my own to plan an attack," he confesses. He looks down at the knocked out maid. "This beauty here was all the help I needed."

Enterprise glances at her maid and then at the false vice captain. She clenches her fists and grits her teeth. "Y-You..."

"Now that i have the info gathered," he says as he stands up. "I shall head back tomorrow and report it to my team. This will definitely-"

BAM!

The silver haired woman punches his face so hard that he stumbles toward the desk. Enterprise will not let this man pass his message to the enemy base.

"Heh, heh, Enterprise, let's not blow this out of proportion," he says, despite him having a bruised cheek and his jaw nearly broken. He backs away with his hands up in defense.

Enterprise doesn't say anything. She keeps a cold stare and steps toward him.

"I will report this to the captain if you keep on-" He gets interrupted by Enterprise grabbing and punching him in the gut then in the face back and forth and then a last hard punch in the face until he hits the floor.

She then goes to the small drawer to pick up a handgun, load it and point it at him. "Don't...move...a muscle," she says coldly. "If anyone is going to talk to the captain, it shall be me. You hurt Belfast, you went undercover just to plan an attack on our district. You must face the consequences."

All the vice captain could do is grin evilly. "I will win. You just don't know that. This district trusts me too much."

"I think not," Enterprise says. "I have proof that you're a phony and will show it to the captain as soon as he shows up." She walks up to the desk and presses a button to call the authorities.

*Later*

The maid's eyes flutter open and her vision clears to see Enterprise looking down at her with concern.

"Enterprise...sama?" she whispers.

"Thank goodness..." Enterprise says softly. "You're alright..."

"Wh-what just..."

"I took care of everything," the silver haired woman says. "You got hurt by this phoney who planned to attack our district after going back to his to spread the word. I called the captain to arrest him on the spot. And I..." She turns away with a slight blush on her face. "I, um...carried you here."

The Brit smiles a gentle smile. "I'm very grateful for that. You have such a kind heart." She looks up to see a lone tear fall from Enterprise's face. "Enterprise-sama?"

"Ah...s-sorry..." the silver haired woman wipes away the tear. "It's nothing."

"I see that you were extremely worried, was that it?" Belfast asks.

Enterprise doesn't say anything. She bites her lip and slightly turns away. Belfast's smile never leaves her as she raises her hand to caress her cheek.

"I appreciate your concern," she says, softly. "But I'll be fine. Don't worry. Something like this shouldn't be a problem."

"Yes...but..."

"But nothing. I'm your maid and I won't let this get to me. It's because I love you, Enterprise-sama. I will keep holding on."

"Belfast..." Enterprise blushes again.

"Fufu! Won't you at least stay with me until I get better, though? It'll be quite lonely if you leave now."

Enterprise hesitates before nodding. "Of course. I will never leave you, Belfast. I will take care of you until you are fully recovered."

"That's wonderful~"
