The sun rose over the land of Ace Attorney World while John Phoenix was on his way to work via teleportation which he had learned from Phoenix Wright.
"Morning, Uncle Phoenix," said John Phoenix as he ascended the stairs up to the Phoenix & Co. Law Offices. Phoenix Wright was there waiting for him.
"John Phoenix, I have a surprise for you," smiled Phoenix. John Phoenix could not help but be unsettled by the smile Phoenix gave him. Then Phoenix ripped his mask off and revealed he was Don Paolo!
"You fiend!" shouted John Phoenix. "What have you done with my uncle?"
"He's in a place far far away," cackled Don Paolo.
"You mean London?"
"CURSES!" shouted Don Paolo. "How did you guess?"
"Because London is where you live!" John Phoenix announced, pulling out a newspaper about all of Don Paolo's crimes.
"Y-You won't get to him before I do! I have my very own flying machine, nyeh heh!"
Don Paolo jumped out the window and flew away in a purple flying contraption.
Unfortunately, John Phoenix could only teleport to places he's already been to so he couldn't go to London, instead he decided to go to the airport.
Move: Airport
John Phoenix blinked out of existence within the office... just as the phone started ringing! John Phoenix appeared again in the airport. He had already purchased a plane ticket because he buys one every morning in case of an emergency, he has the money to do this because he is rich from defending lots of people and he wins every case because he's good so he gets payed more than what he'd get if he lost.
"Good morning, how may I help you?" smiled Rhoda Teneiro.
"One express plane to London please," said John Phoenix.
"Right away sir!"
Meanwhile in London
Storm Sente strolled into his office all alone as usual when he noticed someone was there.
"Who might you be?" asked Storm Sente.
"The name is Professor Hershel Layton. I'm an archaeologist and a friend of Phoenix Wright who went missing while I was on the phone with him."
"I'll help you look for him."
The professor fortunately already had this worked out. He got Storm to call the phone of his office, as he had previously worked out that Phoenix's nephew John Phoenix would be there. Sadly, there was no answer.
"Where could that boy have gone?" thought Layton. Just then, his phone started ringing.
"Hello my boy?"
"Professor!" shouted Luke Triton. "My friend who works at Los Angeles Airport just said John Phoenix is on a plane to London, and he's coming here!"
"Objection?!" shouted Storm. "Why is he coming to London?"
"A very good question, Storm..." thought Layton. "We must meet up with him as soon as possible!"
"And how do we do that?"
"Storm, we have the need to rent a plane of our own!"
Storm and Layton went to the plane shop and rented a biplane, they flew it towards Los Angeles until they found a plane.
"That is indubitably the plane our target John Phoenix is on," said Storm, but his foolish wording would be his downfall.
"Beeeep beepbeepbeepbeep beepbeeeep beeeep, beepbeep, beepbeepbeep, beepbeep beeeepbeep beeeepbeepbeep beepbeepbeeeep beeeepbeepbeepbeep beepbeep beeeep beepbeeeep beeeepbeepbeepbeep beepbeeeepbeepbeep beeeepbeepbeeeepbeeeep beeeep beepbeepbeepbeep beep, beepbeeeepbeeeepbeep beepbeeeepbeepbeep beepbeeeep beeeepbeep beep, beeeepbeeeepbeeeep beepbeepbeeeep beepbeeeepbeep beeeep beedbeeeep beepbeeeepbeep beeeepbeeeepbeep beep beeeep, beepbeeeepbeeeepbeeeep beeeepbeeeepbeeeep beepbeepbeepbeep beeeepbeep, beepbeeeepbeeeepbeep beepbeepbeepbeep beeeepbeeeepbeeeep beep beeeepbeep beepbeep beeeepbeepbeepbeeeep, beepbeep beepbeepbeep, beeeepbeeeepbeeeep beeeepbeep" went the morse code generator which took in the words spoken by Storm outside and then a human spent a minute translating it and recoiled in horror.
"Captain, someone is targetting one of our passengers!" shouted the translator.
"Dear lord, we must retaliate!" said the captain.
Meanwhile in the passenger area
"Passengers hold onto your seats, we are being raided by a man in a brown fancy top hat and a man with a blue vest, we will be entering battle mode shortly, if you do not hold on tightly you risk falling to your death, we are saying this to avoid responsibility."
"WHAT?" shouted John Phoenix standing to his feet but then the plane completely shifted and changed shape and he could barely hang on. Passengers even fell off to their death most likely. However, he could not simply hang around, those two people sounded suspiciously like Storm Sente and Professor Layton, who are friends of his uncle and would naturally come to America to investigate his disappearance!
"Fools who wish to intercept the business of American Airlines, prepare to die!" shouted the captain and he fired missiles at the biplane.
"Hold on tight, Storm," said Layton and he did a barrel roll to avoid the missiles.
The captain cackled, but then he stopped as John Phoenix grabbed onto him to try and stop him, so the captain grabbed him and held him up over the edge.
"Oh no!" shouted Storm and he stood up in his seat.
"STORM, NO!" shouted Layton but he could not stop Storm as he leaped out of the biplane and landed on the battleship.
"Get away from my friend's nephew, John Phoenix!" Storm sternly warned the captain with his fists raised.
"John Phoenix?" said the translator. "Oh dear oh dear there's been a mistake, we thought you wished to kill him, captain let go!"
"Heh," smirked the captain and he ripped his mask off - he was Don Paolo the whole time. "Now to kill you!"
He threw John Phoenix off the plane!
"JOHN PHOENIIIIIIIIIIIIIIX!" shouted Layton, and to stop him from falling, he drove the plane under the ship and grabbed John Phoenix, and pulled him into Storm's seat.
"How amusing Layton," said Don Paolo. "You wish to challenge me with that piece of scrap metal?"
Don Paolo pushed the gun button and fired bullets at him and one of them hit the engine which caused it to explode and Layton and John Phoenix had to jump back onto the plane.
"You can't stop me Layton," shouted Don Paolo after grabbing a pipe and trying to hit Layton with it.
"Yes I can Don Paolo," said Layton fighting back with a pipe of his own. "For I have stolen your flying contraption while you weren't looking!"
"What?" shouted Don Paolo, but not before John Phoenix took advantage of the distraction Layton had set for him and punched him in the face.
"Now, John Phoenix and Storm, let's run!"
The professor and John Phoenix and Storm ran and, since the battleship was closer to ground now, they just jumped off.
"Brilliant work, professor," said John Phoenix.
"Now let's fly to London with Don Paolo's contraption," said Storm, but John Phoenix hit him in the face.
"Storm Sente you ignorant whelp, that was just a distraction, Layton could not have found Don Paolo's flying machine because he's been in his biplane the whole time, giving him no time to search for it."
"Oh."
"HOWEVER," said John Phoenix. "Considering he managed to get on the airplane before it took off and that he's slow without the flying machine he must have parked it outside the airport.
They checked and John Phoenix was right. They grabbed the flying machine and sped to London, while Don Paolo took the slow and battered battleship.
They arrived back in London later that night. John Phoenix suggested they watch the horizon and scan for the massive battleship that would be impossible to not notice. They did that and eventually it appeared. They followed it and it led to the prime minister's house.
"As I suspected," said John Phoenix. The professor considered knocking on the door but John Phoenix scolded him for being a gentleman to villains. So they snuck around the back and removed the window frame by solving a puzzle and climbed in silently. They walked through the room and found a door that was locked.
"Ha, it is quite unusual to leave a door locked if it doesn't lead outside, so I presume you're in there, Uncle Phoenix?"
"Oh my God John Phoenix you're here!" said Phoenix from inside. "Come on in, it's safe in here."
"Just a moment my old friend," said Layton and he moved to solve the puzzle lock but John Phoenix used his immense strength to kick the door in.
"Wow, that was smart," said Storm.
They walked in but saw to their horror that Phoenix was on the floor and Boris Johnson was pointing a gun to his head and the voice they actually heard was Don Paolo wearing his Phoenix mask!
"You can't stop me!" laughed Don Paolo.
"Why are you doing this?" asked the professor.
"Fool, imagine having to ask a question with such an obvious answer," John Phoenix scoffed at Layton's incompetence, but Don Paolo answered anyway.
"You see, ten years ago the professor took my lover away from me, so now I'm going to kill his new lover Phoenix Wright! It's justice!"
"And I'm doing it because I'm a conservative," said Boris.
Exactly as John Phoenix deduced.
"You bastard, how did you find out about that?" said Layton and he wanted to punch Don Paolo but Boris reminded him of the gun pointed at Phoenix's head.
Layton drooped to the floor in defeat because there was nothing he could do. But John Phoenix had a different idea. While Don Paolo and Boris Johnson were talking about their motives he and Storm stealthily moved to the left and right of the room specifically out of their sights. While both villains had their attention set on Layton they moved and, simultaneously, Storm attacked Boris and John Phoenix attacked Don Paolo! Don Paolo was finally defeated and Boris dropped his gun so he couldn't shoot Phoenix! Then Inspector Chelmey came in and apprehended Don Paolo.
"What about Boris?"
"It's unfortunate but he abused his power to get away with his crimes just like Bill Hawks did."
"How terrible," said Layton. He never thought he'd say this, but he wished he voted for Bill.
Anyway after that John Phoenix and Phoenix Wright went home and Storm Sente and Professor Layton waved at the plane that carried them.
"May we some day meet again Phoenix Wright... and you, John Phoenix."
The End.
