It was a beautiful day in Sooga, that meant the perfect day for training. Garu changing into his iconic ninja gear was soon turning 18, changed a lot since he was 13, his large muscles, luscious hair he tied into those sleek pigtails, well crafted face, let us not forget his scruffy beard, even if it had been many years of not seeing his friends or being in the village in general he knew it was time to return. He had already accomplished his goals so his vow of silence had been lifted, god it had been a long time since he could talk and lately he couldn't stop! He was ready to return, face his friends, be himself again…..

Garu was not the only one who changed, the beautiful pucca now being 17 was a full grown beauty, all the men in the village swooned over her any chance they got, her hair was still as silky and beautiful slicked back into her signature buns, her body matured as well giving herself more detail, it was not great being the prettiest female in sooga it did have its downsides, these men were lustful and ruthless when it came to a beautiful woman like her, even Abyo could not stand being around this beauty for too long.
"Hey there pucca!" Ching said walking toward her bestfriend, "did you hear the news?" she asked, "what news?" the confused girl asked "hes coming back!" Ching replied with a squeal of joy, g-garu? Pucca thought to herself….but i haven't seen him in so long!, what will he think of me?, did he change? Does he have a girlfriend? The Forest
"Phft, it's not gonna be that bad going back home is it?" Garu asked himself looking into his mirror, "I mean your friends are going to be welcoming right? you are the town hero after all!" he smiled at the thought of all those fangirls, "god i can wait to spar with Abyo, eat the chefs noodles, and even have a nice relaxing spa day with ching!" he was forgetting about someone….the girl who loved him, who cared about him, who never gave up on him, she was waiting everyday for his return…. "Meow" Mio cried "huh?, what is it?" "MEOW" Mio cried louder, "am i forgetting something?" he asked the cat knowing he would not get a reply, "its a long way to Sooga, so i guess we better get going mio" he said scratching the small black cat behind the ear. With his things all packed he set off for Sooga Village excited to see his friends after many years of being alone
