Disclaimer: I do not own JAG. Only Arianna.
AN: Good reviews only please. I've had problems writing Arianna's story here on the past and I won't have it happen again.
"You think that I want to leave you Arianna?" Clay asked now as he wrapped his arms around her gently. For years they had kept their relationship a secret and now Arianna was 18-years-old and people knew about them.
"You've put everyone I love in danger you know" she said as she poked his chest with her finger gently. "My Uncle AJ, mom and daddy! My whole family practically, so why can't you take me with you this time?"
He sighed and gazed straight into her brown eyes. "Do you really want me to answer that question baby?"
Arianna shook her head and sighed. "No...I guess...I just miss you when you're gone and I don't want you to leave. She placed her forehead on Clay's now, her hand playing with the ends of his hair.
"You know by now it won't be forever" he whispered softly, running his hands up and down her arms gently.
Arianna sighed and kissed him now, her eyes slipping shut. This was her last night with Clay before he left on another mission and she wasn't going to waste it by arguing. "I'm sorry. I know this is you're job" she whispered softly.
"I just don't know how I'm going to get through another month or so without you with only my family and you're mother for comfort."
"Well maybe this will cheer you up" Clay said as he pulled a tiny box from his pocket, sitting them both down on the couch. Aria's eyes widened now as the box was opened to reveal a beautiful ring with blue diamonds. Her favorite color.
"Oh Clay!" she exclaimed now, kissing him. "Is this what I think it is?"
He nodded now and got down on one knee. "Arianna Caroline Rabb-MacKenzie. I love you. I have loved you since the day I first laid eyes on you and I've been thinking alot since we told you're parents about us and I think it's time. Time for us to get married. Will you be my wife?"
Arianna nodded happily, tears flowing down her face now. "Only you would propose right before going on a mission" she said as she dropped down to the floor with him, kissing him passionately as she wound her arms around his neck. "Clayton Webb...I've always loved you."
He smiled against her lips now and pulled them both up to sit back on the couch, him leaning against some pillows with her head on his chest. "You know my mother helped me pick out that ring" he said as she laughed happily gazing at her hand.
"You know my uncle is going to kill you" she said. She knew everyone's reaction would be funny, but her godfather's would be priceless. "He's always hated you. You may have to work really hard to change that."
Clay shook his head and kissed Aria's forehead. "Oh I'll think of some way to get into his good graces again" he said as he tightened his hold on her. "The important thing here is I love you."
"I love you too..." she whispered softly, dozing off now. It had been a big day and she was lucky to have him by her side.
Clay smiled and pulled a blanket over them, kissing her cheek a couple times. "Get some rest baby, I will be right here. I will be here for the rest of our lives."
